Had our 4th and last stay at this hotel on our 10 week trip in Asia. It was EXCEPTIONAL as usual. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff were super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Can NOT say enough great things about this hotel as we used it as our go to hotel to travel in and out of Taoyuan Airport while they stored our luggage for free. Also it's a 10 minute walk to Costco so we had to go there to buy some gifts to bring them home. 10/10 without any reservation!

Well equipped with all the amenities a traveler needs. 24 hour Latte machine in the lobby and a very nice breakfast selection in the morning. There is even a rec room with pool and ping pong tables. A large mall is close by with many options for food and shopping.

Was flying through Taipei and needed a place to spend a night near the airport for a flight the next day. This was a terrific option. It is about a 20-minute drive from the airport, and the price point was a great value, especially compared against what I was finding in the general airport area. Room was clean and big, and the hotel offered a big breakfast the next morning. Couldn't ask for more for a one-night option not too far from the airport.

It’s not a TWD $450 cab ride from the airport. Spacious, clean room, comfortable bed, friendly front desk staffers (every single one of them was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with). A bonus point- it’s only 0.3 mile away from Costco! We walked over and had a delicious beef wrap and a slice of seafood pizza 😊😂

One of the best hotels ever in terms of service, quality, amenities and loveliness of the staff. They koi and dogs are a highlight. Miss it already and will definitely return ASAP!

Room is big, WiFi pretty good, 24 hours free coffee in lobby, the coffee was great.

We have to leave at 5:30 to the airport, the given breakfast was a little bit inconvenient to eat.

Freedom Design Hotel was a fantastic find—clean, modern, and comfortable. Our queen ensuite room was spacious and well-appointed. Just 15 minutes from Taoyuan Airport (around $25 AUD by taxi), it’s absolutely worth the short trip for the savings and comfort. Feels like a safe area and no problem visiting the 24 hr 7/11 just around the corner for a snack (recommend the packaged chicken wings! Yum) The staff were incredibly helpful, especially with arranging taxis and making sure drivers had clear directions. We also pre-booked a 6am breakfast and were blown away by the quality—fried rice, chicken nuggets, fried egg, steamed pork, fruit, sweet and savoury bread rolls, plus soy and almond milk poppers. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Highly recommend for a convenient, affordable airport stay with top-notch service.

It’s our 2nd stay in this hotel. The entire staff was wonderful. Our room was spacious and clean. There is a laundry room on every floor. The breakfast was delicious. It’s close to Taoyuan Airport (TWD 450 cab fare).

The room was very big. Bed firm but comfortable. was provided with one soft and one hard pillow (I guess due to prev reviews). The space was clean. Provided breakfast and coffee was good enough. Heater in the bathroom to dry things out was nice. Couch, table, and lots of desk space was good.

My main issue came down to the cost of the place. Too expensive for what’s offered. No hand soap provided though there was an empty dish. A sign in the shower said if water got out of the shower area and caused damage, the guest was responsible, yet the shower didn’t drain properly, so I had to turn it off while showering to prevent water from going over the edge… These factors- especially the sign- cheapened the experience. Not much in terms of later night food options in the area.

The location is great in terms of being close to the airport, but not necessarily a place to stay for sightseeing. However that wasn't an issue for our stay.
