This is a good quality room with a nice layout and good amout of room for Taiwan, where the rooms tend to be small and dark. This was light, had plenty of outlets, well laid out, and the bathroom was separated a decent distance. Basic amenities include a water heater, safe, etc, shower supplies, and it is located near a few mini-malls. Staff very helpful to call cars and recommend places. I prefer to be a bit out of the downtown Taoyouan railway station area which gets overcrowded.

I did not have any major complaints, just minor ones. It is not near the major malls like Taimao or the outlets, so it is a bit 'local' for foreigners, but that is hard for me to judge as someone who is in TW a lot. There were a lot of foreigners in the hotel however.

I booked for our University President and according to him, he liked his stay here because the room was spacious and clean, and the hotel staff kept the rooms clean without being told. Water, tea and other provisions were replenished daily. There was hot water, which was good and the hotel staff were really helpful and accommodating. The hotel also was near a lot of dining areas and is ready to provide a taxi/cab if the client ever needs one. The breakfast also exceeded our expectations, and it changes every day. Clients have the options to get cooked meals, or salads, or cereals and dimsum, all buffet style. All in all, it was a great experience staying in Taoyuan Holiday Express Inn. We are sure to book here again when we get back to Taoyuan.

This is just a minor thing, but the hotel is not allowed to exchange Philippine peso to TWD currencies. I think this is true for most hotels all over the country. Guests should bring their USD for easier transaction.

Located about half an hour drive from the T2 TAOYUAN airport. Property provided a nice pictorial map of place of interest that surrounds it. Property is closely located near few supermarket and a shopping mall just down the street (about 10mins walk). Also a 24hours CARREFOUR shopping mall is located close by also about 15mins walk away. You can choose to do some last minute snacks souvenier shopping at this last stop. Good bathing amenities is provided such as showering soap and shampoo and conditioner. We found this nice Japanese restaurant that opens till 3am just opposite. its nice!!! Room is small but enough to fit in 2 adults with 2 big luggage and 2 small luggage. Breakfast is too provided (fee option) and its adequate selection. Dining area is small so time preference will be allocated to avoid crowding and queue time. Coffee and tea is provided at the dining area 24hours (self service). SO just drop by anytime if you may need.

Door gap. We notice our room door is not concealed all the way to the ground and a gap of about 3-5cm between door and floor. This does not provide much security feeling for us. I had to block the door with my luggage bag as extra security after locking up from inside. Frosted bathroom wall. Our room comes with a frosted wall that can see the figure of bathing person from the bed. Not so suitable for friends traveling together. As the room size is small; the bathroom design is smart as such that the same door that closes the toilet area will also serve as the showering door.

the BUS STOP just opposite the hotel and the drop off just beside the hotel. Convenient and I enjoy being with local people in the public bus like a free tour. Staff Jay Jeng and Intern Arin very patient and knowledgeable giving answers every time I ask about directions. Thank you to all the staff of the hotel housekeeping staff Putu for making my stay in the hotel comfortable and pleasant.

Comfortable room and pillows. Coffee is good and free at the lobby (24hr). Clean, functional AC with heater (winter). Water pressure for shower is great. Flashlamp for safety✅ Happy to be able to check-in earlier than 15:00.

Bathroom floor is slippery, probably due to wrong choice of tiles (tiles used seems to be used for wall type). Probably replacing universal adaptor for bedside power port will be more convenient.

The hotel is in the middle of the busy area, and we stayed there from the 23rd until the 28th. I could say that inspite of the distance from Taoyuan landmarks and Taipei tourist spots, it was a wonderful experience to stay at this hotel. The rooms were cleaned everyday, replenished with water, toiletries, towels, etc. and breakfast was excellent. We thought we will just have a simple breakfast, but everyday we were presented with a lot of options. Also, there was a Filipina staff at the breakfast area, Cristina, who was extra attentive to our needs and is diligent with her work. I have to mention also that there were hotel receptionists who did an excellent job of making sure we enjoyed our stay - we met Samson, Rita, Sabrina, and others whose names I didn't get- but they went the extra mile for us. I had to send a parcel to a University in Taipei and with their help, it was received in good condition.They were also helpful in navigating landmarks. I asked for the directions to the Taoyuan Public Library, and other places I found interesting, but they were very honest in telling me the minutes it would take if i go by foot, or if the place is worth the taxi fare or not. The hotel is also beside a long stretch of food stalls, grocery stores and noodle shops so it would be easy to find somewhere to eat for lunch and dinner.

maybe just the distance from other famous landmarks in Taiwan. But that shouldn't be an issue at all since taxis/ cabs and buses are available to and from Taipei.

Staff were so nice it made it hard to leave. location was very practical. free refreshments throughout the day which helped. cleaned the room everyday, and would just give you towels and water if you didn't want room cleaned.

Only thing was parking away from the hotel. at least they had parking and gave you a voucher for wit which made it completely free.

Everything was great! The room has the best view of the city from all sides. The bed is super comfortable and will really soothe your tired body after a jam-packed whole day tour. The buffet breakfast is delicious and with choices of dimsum everyday. The hotel is just a few seconds walk from Shuangfeng Rd. Intersection, the stop of Bus 1816 (Taipei to Taoyuan bus). We saved a lot of money because we rode this bus, instead of taking cab, most of time we went to Taipei for our booked tours. BTW, taking the taxi is also great because the hotel will always book it for you.

Breakfast is from 6:30 -10:30 instead of 6:00-10am.

The staff was very kind, and I want to sincerely say thank you. I was especially grateful to the One Piece-loving gentleman and the lady who were very helpful. As soon as I arrived, I mentioned that I wanted to go buy souvenirs, and they made phone calls to stores on my behalf to help me find them. I am filled with gratitude. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time.

Staff was customer service oriented. The breakfast buffet was really good with a lot of variety of Eastern and Western foods. The egg omelette was exceptional. I have never tasted such awesome egg omelette in my life before! It was so soft and cooked just right. It was flavorful, not watery, not hard nor dry.

Location is far from the metrorail and many places like 711. The taxi ride to the Taoyuan airport was $520 Taiwan Dollar which is equivalent to about $17 USD.
