Staff friendly and helpful. Miss Lin checked us in and provided useful info regarding dining. Walking to markets and town centre. Some good eateries in the neighbourhood. 和平虱目魚專賣店 (He Ping Milk Fish restaurant) in Shanghai Street was only minutes away. We ate there/ bought takeaway several times during our 4 nights stay. Fish and veggie dishes all delicious. Really impressed by the huge library next to the free self-service laundry. Books covered various categories and genres, catering for all ages. Also a mini library inside the dining room, even bookends placed in the rooms so that guests could read in private. Since there were post-typhoon road blocks in Taroko National Park during our visit, we were happy to spend more time at the hotel just relax and read. A nice surprise! Free hot and cold drinks as well as small packaged snacks provided in the dining room after 3PM. The lady served there most days was always friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and the design practical. The hotel decor was mostly Japanese, neat and tidy. Peaceful ambience throughout the premises.

Only two washing machines provided in the complimentary laundry room. One night, a guest occupied both washers at the same time and did not bother to pick up the washed clothes when the cycles finished. Other people had to wait around for 15 minutes until the machines were available. Because of limited supply, the hotel should set rules to stop inconsiderate users inconveniencing the others. Breakfast dishes were average, mostly veggies and very little meat. The limited selections remained unchanged throughout our stay. Pity that no bath tub was included.

Great selection for breakfast. Appreciated the attention upon arrival (concierge came out to greet us and help with luggage). It felt like checking into a department store because it was so clean and beautiful! Appreciated the play room. It exceeded my expectations as my children love sensory messy play and there was an enclosed pit with dump trucks and small fake grains. It was also assuring to know the play room got cleaned daily. The unlimited snacks bar was also great, lots of chips n ice cream! Also free laundry and powder, just pay for dryer.

The beds were a bit hard. The other thing was that while we were having our snacks in the snack area, the staff member was standing close by almost like she was watching us and every time my 1yo son dropped a small cracker or whatever on the ground, she was quick to rush over to clean it up. She may have just been conscientious but we felt we couldn't sit and enjoy our snacks without being watched or having someone hover nearby.

Even helped us with our transport and driver during our stay at Hualien. Even assisted me with the laundry service a big shoutout to Julie for being so kind and patient with us

The kids themed family room was cute! The girls loved the toys and it was a great way to help them to relax. If we had stayed longer I’m sure we would have also taken advantage of the library. Breakfast was simple with a decent selection of Taiwanese food, fruit, toast and cereal. We had lunch at a wonton soup place just next door. The night market is a few minutes walk away. You can walk to the seaside as well but there isn’t much of a sidewalk.

The staff were immediately welcoming and helpful, providing an early check in on arrival. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel has a library and play area available for children, as well as free ice cream provided every afternoon. Beds were also comfortable. Lots of nice touches to make a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Very clean and in a great location. The kids’ playroom and the free snacks were very popular with my kids. I like that the rooms are big and each level had its own water dispenser.

Breakfast spread was good though the quality wasn’t quite up to mark. Not much choice to get our own breakfast outside though because many of the shops around the hotel only open after 10/11am.

Spacious, clean rooms. Great amenities for guests including washer and dryer although I did not used them. Free drinks and snacks for all guests which is a really nice touch. Conveniently located too with Watson's beside the hotel and 7-11 just opposite. Also good eateries within walking distance of the hotel

Lovely modern hotel with huge rooms , comfy beds and great staff. Good breakfast and free snacks in room and every afternoon / evening in lobby. Easy walk to night market, sea and lots of restaurants

Love the size of the room, bigger than most we stayed. Toileteries provided were nice, good to have the tea time snacks. Location is pretty much walking distance to most eateries. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Limited options for breakfast although they provide the gongzheng baos so saved us the hassle of queuing up

It is an amazing hotel with free parking, free coffee any time, and books for guests. Very quiet room and helpful staff. Breakfast is excellent! Free ice cream. It is value added hotel, strongly recommended!

Parking is a few minutes walk, it will be great to send a map to guests before they arriving.
