The hotel was very clean and the room was much larger than I was expecting. The bed was comfortable and the room was a corner room RN710 so was nice and quiet away from the lift and foot traffic. The breakfast pretty good and better than I expecting but a little limiting for the western taste but better than many hotels I have stayed in. Security is very good as I went looking for a house cleaner to get an extra towel and within 30 secs my phone rang asking if I wanted a towel. On the whole the location feels safe and there are many places to eat withing minutes walk of the hotel, Top Tip Avoid the stinky tofu in the night market. You will continue to taste it for the next 3 days. Very comfortable stay and yes I would recommend this place

considering the price there is little to not like

Very well located for exploring Kaohsiung. The Cloud Hotel is near Formosa Boulevard Metro station (centre of the system) and is easy to find. The staff were extremely helpful and kind; they gave us a free upgrade to the room. Really nice, comfortable bed (this is by no means a given in Taiwan). The buffet breakfast is generous and delicious. Very good value for money and I'd stay here again.

The air conditioner was a bit rumbly....yet essential for a good night's sleep in such a hot city.

Happy for us to leave bags there before check in. Very convenient for the night market and a very short walk from the main interchange for the MTR (Formosa Boulevard) and main station for TRC, Breakfast (Chinese style) was plentiful and varied including enough things for a vegan. The room had a seriously huge bed and was well appointed. Bathroom and shower were very good. Kettle in the room.

room had a tiny window and felt a bit enclosed (although it was reasonably large).

Clean and generally nice staff.

I requested feather free quilts when booking (I'm allergic to feather), however on arrival the bed quilts were with feather. After requesting again at reception they told me that they don't have any feather free bed quilts, it was really hard to explain it and I ended up sleeping without pillows and under 3 bed sheets (after getting rid of all the feather quilts and pillows from the room). .

A nice place to stay: in the middle of the city, but not on the busy street. The room was one of these without windows, but clean, quiet and with comfortable bed. I can't recall breakfast there, supposedly it was just typical Taiwanese rice congee or seaweed. Other than that just a hotel.

This room was missing a mains socket near the bed, which I find a big minus these days. Air conditioning was a bit loud.

This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. We asked for a quiet room and that was what we got. The bedding was comfortable and the the room was a good size. The breakfast was a standout with multiple choices, some variation over five days and it was served in a pleasant area. All staff were attentive, especially the front desk.

The hotel is great to stay and feels comfortable.They even upgrade my room to bigger room without charges.Quiet with soundproof.Breakfast provided and taste not bad.The place come with the laundry area as well,convenient for us to clean our apparel.The staff there very helpful and even assist me in packed well for my foods & souvenirs which i need send for the check in luggage at airport.Room.is clean.

They upgraded our room when we arrived. There was a built in drinking water faucet in the bathroom which was so nice. It’s really close to a night market. Decently close to public transportation. Breakfast was really good. 3 washing machines and 1 dryer on the roof for people to use.

Shower door couldn’t close all the way, but that wasn’t a big deal. Electric plugs weren’t close to the bed.

Location is good. Near to mrt and bus stops, And night market and other shops. Internet is good. Staff are accomodating and friendly. We had breakfast buffet included in our stay, it could have been better if it wont be almost the same menu everyday. Imagine eating the same breakfast for 9 days of stay😅

Location was great, close to Formosa Station(exit 11 is best.) Clean, reasonably priced, and the shower was large. Staff was helpful and nice also.

Ceilings are a bit low for a westerner, not like hitting your head but feel a bit like a giant. I’m about 6’1”- 185cm for those on metric. Breakfast was meh, but filling and included in the price.
