Góa siōng kah-ì kau-gī-thiaⁿ, khong-kan tōa, tiān-sī sī iōng tâu-iáⁿ-ki tâu-iáⁿ tī piah-téng ê hong-sek pàng--chhut-lâi, kui ê chiok sù-sī. -- The location is very good, it's right at Exit 9, Formosa Boulevard MRT station. The staff is very nice and explained everything clearly, they also provide service in Taiwanese language! My favorite room was the spacious common area, they use the projector to play the TV, which was really comfy.

The room is spacious and clean. There’s an elevator, so it’s easy for travellers with luggage. Very close to the train station—just a 2–3 minute walk from Boulevard Formosa Station. For Muslim travellers, halal food is nearby too about a 9–10 minute walk to an Indonesian restaurant.

I booked a room shared bathroom, but there’s no toilet on my floor. I have to go to another floor to use it. As a woman, it feels unsafe to go out at night just to use the toilet. The hotel should provide at least one toilet on each floor.

Second stay at this place now, it is very good value for money and the location is perfect. Although the single room had no window, it was clean and quiet and very comfortable with air con. The lack of window actually made me sleep much better!

You have to take your shoes off when you enter and swap to their slippers when entering the property, not really possible to change for coins for washing machine after reception closes. There is nothing I can really complain about this place, it is a very well ran hostel.

I could book on the last minute and he staff was available when I told them that I couldn’t arrive within the check in time. The bed was large and comfortable, they provide a towel but it’s very small. Very great location close to the main subway station and to the tourist night market.

The bathrooms are big but not always clean and there is not a great air circulation so after people took showers there was no more oxygen left. When I checked in I wasn’t shown around and I haven’t known about he big basement common area and the laundry room until the very last night.

location and facilities

I was assigned to the bed next to the door. Unfortunately, I met a worst roommate. She closed the door, making banging noise. I woke up twice at midnight because of her. The next day, I gave feedback to the management. And I'm great that only staying 1 night, otherwise it was really painful due to the noise.

- Location is the best. This hotel is near night market only 3 mins walking and hotel is next to station exit no.9. - Room size is bigger than I think. - All facilities was great. - Restroom and Bathroom is clean. - Wifi connection is good.

Only restroom and bathroom that need to use another floor. I stay in 2nd floor But there is only in 3rd and 4th floor.

The bathroom in 4/F is a bit old, and not so clean, probably due to a lot of people using it The reception is not 24 hours, so you need to remember bringing your room key every time you leave the room

Super near to Formosa Boulevard station (on red line). Stayed with them 6 years ago (as Light Hostel back then) and now things are even better as they renovated few of the rooms! Near to the famous night market and price is really friendly. Just stay here if you are travelling in Kaoshiung you wont get disappointed.

Everything is great!

service desk staff was super helpful and I was very grateful that I could chose the room to which I could stay in on arrival. I could as well check in before the check in time and have a quick shower on arrival.

The booking.com and the actual name of the hotel were different names so at first it was hard to find if it was the right hotel in the first place. Could be confusing as the names were similar in real and when you book the hotel.

Facilities were excellent, staff were very helpful and spoke very good English, location couldn't be more perfect

Can't think of anything I didn't like about this place. Kaohsiung is a very hot city and I probably chose a hot time of year, but the hostel was a prefect oasis in the middle of the heat, and so ready to come back to for a rest in the middle of the day
