-good locations -free snacks during day -big rooms by Taiwan standards -staff is nice

-please do something about the sewage smell… in the first day we were thinking to move.. do not let the bathroom door open after cleaning the room -a bit cold in the room, there is no heating or electric heater. Should be provided by the hotel -there is no soap in the bathroom… shower gel is not ok and not convenient to always go in the shower to was hands. You can put a refillable bottle of soap. It is basic hygene

Spacious and well maintained rooms. Very helpful staff. Baseball theme gives the hotel a certain character that distinguishes it from others. Very good breakfast with wide wide variety of food.

The hotel experience was good, but just a few things to note about getting there: For some reason when copying the address of the hotel in google maps, it points to different location about 20 minute drive away from the actual hotel. It shows up correctly in booking.com app. Hotel has a free parking, but you have to be lucky to actually park there, because it is very small. For that reason they offer to refund parking cost of a car park that is located a bit further away. My problem with that parking lot was that it was automatic and accepted only credit cards. None of my cards worked there and other customers also had problems paying. Only EasyCards seemed to work flawlessly.

My 7-night stay at LA Hotel was nothing short of perfection, earning it a solid 10 out of 10. The staff's friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel valued from the moment I arrived. The hotel's great location, not far from the train station and a few hundred meters to the famous Liouhe Night Market, proved ideal for exploring the city, with the staff offering great recommendations. Service was impeccable, from the well-appointed and clean rooms to the prompt room service. What truly stood out was the varied and delicious breakfast spread. Each morning offered a delightful array of options, setting the perfect tone for the day. Additionally, the hotel provided free afternoon snacks, including coffee and ice cream. In summary, LA Hotel combines friendly staff, a great location, excellent service, and a standout breakfast experience. This hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Kaohsiung. A definite 10 out of 10!

Breakfast not hot enough.

Amazing location, close to the train station and central market, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The hotel offers a nice afternoon tea, and guests can bring outside food to enjoy in the dining area. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was fully equipped with all essentials

I encountered an issue with a cigarette smell in the room, but the staff were very helpful and quick to assist. They worked to resolve the issue and even arranged a room change for me. Overall, I appreciated their attentive service!

Good location, size of the room and breakfast/afternoon tea was ok 7eleven, metro and laundromat around the corner

Breakfast was mainly Asian food which was to be expected as there’s not many foreigners. No juice on the second day (out of service fountain but could have just put the bottle of juice instead). A bit run down bathroom, could do with some deeper cleaning/refurbishing. Also had to use the shower soap for the sink. Would have been nice to add a shower head holder at a higher place as it’s wasn’t practical

So amazing! We are not baseball fance so we were cautious how strong the presence of theme will be, but it was well balanced and an interesting part of our stay. We completely forgot that breakfast was included so we were twice excited - alco from the fact how good the breakfast was and that we also had na option to go to the dining area for afternoon snacks and tea/coffee. Staff was very nice, their english was good and the room was nicely decorated, well furnished and comfortable. Perfect place to stay in Kaohsiung as it's also right next to local night market and also the MRT station with Dome of Light.

The doors between bathroom and the bedroom were sliding so it was not really soundproof. It might help to put more towel rails in the bathrooms. The washing mashine in the hotel was broken during our stay but! They immediately offered us the option to go to their 'twin hotel' that was one minute walk from there and use washine mashine there which solved the problem.

Location was fantastic. 5 mins walk to Liuhe Night Market, 5-7 mins walk to Formosa Boulevard Station where you can see the Dome of Lights. 7-11 is just opposite. Room is not huge but sufficient for 4 people. There is afternoon tea snacks like drinks, ice cream, cakes, etc provided till 10pm. There are coin washing machines and dryers in the hotel, but we were told they were under maintenance and had to use the ones at the next building which was about 2 mins away.

Not enough hangers for and place to hang up our clothes/jackets. There were only 5-6 hangers and there were 4 of us in the room. Not a major problem, but would be great to have more. Having a mirror outside the bathroom would be useful as well.

location is very good. close to Formosa Boulevard Station and Kaohsiung station. in front of this hotel, there are convenience store and adorable curry restaurant breakfast was good lots of breakfast restaurants in this area close to liouhe night market

coin laundry is not located in this hotel building. I had to walk 1~2 minutes to get there. it's uncomfortable when it's raining.

Location was good it near MRT station but still need to walk roughtly 5 minutes , and room was consider big. However, breakfast choice not much!

The buffer breakfast does not contains much variety of food, and there's too crowded since got group travel agency travelling.

Central local near Famosa Boulevard subway station. Easy to go anywhere in Kaohsiung from there. Room is generally clean and spacious.

Some parts of the room e.g. the shower blind could be replaced with new one; kindnof dirty. The aircon was not responding well to adjust through the contols; we have to switch it off as it was too cold despite switching the fan and temperature lower.
