The welcome is super nice and warm. When you come in, they'll greet you with a warm welcome. It's like you're back home. Breakfast is a bit different than what you'd expect. It's a mix of Japanese, western, and traditional Chinese dishes.

The place is great because it's right next to the highway exit. It also has a bus station right in front of the hotel. It only takes a few minutes to get to the metro station.

This is more of a business hotel than a family hotel but I am not complaining due to the relatively huge room and bathroom and more importantly, it looks new and clean which is more important for our family.

As this seems more like a business hotel, the breakfast buffet spread seems a little limited. But quality is generally good. Location is a little off from night market so will need to cater for your own transport.

Great breakfast buffet, spacious, clean and quite corner room, and excellent service! The room set-up is thoughtful and comfortable with a couch, a sofa, and a functional desk. The room's coffee and tea service is excellent and the air-conditioning is quiet. Hung's Mansion is also convenient to the National Freeway, bus stations, and many amenities. We stayed at Hung's Mansion each time we visited family in Taichung as the hotel is very close to our family homes.

We love everything Hung's Mansion has offered. Just keep up the good work. Hung's Mansion is an excellent place to stay.

The lobby area is beautiful and the room is really clean and spacious. It was a lot bigger than we expected and had a desk and large couch. The bathroom was also very spacious with a huge sink area. There were great amenities such as a toilet with multiple functions (i.e. lid opens and closes on its own), complimentary toiletries (including toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor) that are refilled each day, both a shower and bathtub, speakers in the room and bathroom, clock that can turn the lights and AC on/off. There were also soft slippers and robes provided and plenty of storage space. The staff were very friendly and helpful and called cabs for us several times. There was a large TV with a variety of channels. Even though we had the “do not disturb” light on when housekeeping came around to tidy up, they came later that day and cleaned anyway without us asking. The room was indeed soundproof and we couldn’t hear neighboring rooms at all. We booked this hotel because of the high location and cleanliness ratings, but honestly the pictures don’t do it justice and the room is so much nicer than the pictures show. We will definitely stay here again in future visits!

The hotel is modern, clean and spacious, as was the room we stayed in. The staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. The hotel breakfast is pretty good by Taiwanese standards (no full English or fancy lattes and there’s a fair amount of dog food looking stuff mixed amongst the breakfast buffet, but you can still get a decent enough fill for your breakfast i.e cereal, toast, fresh fruit, juice, coffee etc.). Location of the hotel is spot on, and you can walk to a shopping centre and few other places.

One really annoying thing was the charging points by the side of the bed didn’t work when all the lights were turned off I.e when going to sleep. This was intentional and they were not broken. Who on this planet doesn’t charge their phone and smart watch each night by the bed?? We had to charge our devices on the other side of the room. This meant we had to go to bed without scrolling through our phones for the last hour and had to actually talk to each other?! I mean really!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Rooms were huge and comfortable. King sized beds, firm pillows, couches for lounging, plush bedroom slippers. Huge bathroom and bathtub with well stocked amenities. Staff were very cheery, friendly and helpful in giving us suggestions and recommendations. Hotel was classy, tastefully decorated and well maintained. Free parking provided on location, easy to drive in and out. Location is good - it is a 15 min walk to Feng Jia Night Market and there are shopping centres, a Miyahara branch, lots of restaurants around the area.

Note that this would be a cab ride away from the main Taichung area so not as easy to get back to the hotel in the day if you're not driving. Not a problem for us as we were driving.

Location is superb. Everything is good and that's why this is my third time staying at Hungs. BUT I may not come back because the price is getting too high and there are equally good and cheaper hotels nearby.

Honestly, there was nothing not to like. It was a perfect stay. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We booked a standard room for a 3 nights stay and was given free upgrade to suite, and it was so spacious! Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and approachable! Good location as it was next to Ichiran & walking distance (10mins) to shopping mall. Nearby there’s family mart & 7-11 too. 15 mins drive from Taichung HSR station 8 mins from Feng Chia Night Market depending on traffic

The staff were very attentive and professional. I had to change rooms due to availability. In other hotels I’ve had to wait all day for the new room to be available. But at Hungary Mansion it was ready straight after breakfast.

No complaints.
