I was traveling to Taichung from Las Vegas so of course I had to stay at the hotel copying the best hotel our city has to offer, the Wynn. The Lin hotel completely beat out my expectations with the level of service, quality and size of the room, and the food for the price that we paid. To start with the hotel itself is incredibly luxurious, high quality fixtures, beautiful decor, and real flowers on each floor. The room I booked included a welcome reception at the skybar with complimentary drinks and snacks, this was a great way for me and my travel buddies to unwind after our long travel day of traveling all the way to Taichung from the US. I was in a corner room, which had a massive bathroom, huge shower with a rainshower head, toilet with heated seat, and all marble countertops and to top it off, a TV in the bathroom. The room was divided into two parts, the bed area, and a lounge area with a couch and table. The bed was incredibly comfortable and helped me get over my jetlag really quickly. Included with the room was breakfast at the LV buffet, their buffet was also incredible with plenty of options including dim sum, beer on tap, yogurt, and tons of pastries and desserts. The Lin is also located in a really good location if your visiting Taichung, its close to the HSR station, about a 15 min car ride, and has a shopping mall and lots of great restaurants close by. Overall amazing experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the best Taichung has to offer.

The gym and pool were undergoing maintenance while we were there so I was unable to use them.

Everything about this new hotel is top, but the breakfast is terrible, terrible noise from kitchen ventilation, and loud music on top of that, and too much people in one room,,it's like eating in a very noisy factory. The positive details:the staff, the room design, the very comfy bed, the very quiet room, the excellent bath room, the ventilation and air con,,all meet a five star standard.

The breakfast is super noisy,kithen ventilation is very very loud,,and to make the problem even bigger they play loud musik,,the food quality is not 5 star, more like 3 star,,coffee,bread,cold cuts, fruit juice really medium quality. And too much people in this big room.But the staff is very good.

Great location and the staff were first rate, you really feel welcome here. I didn’t want to leave. The breakfast buffet was incredible, never seen anything like it.

Great breakfast and nice pool with spa facilities

Gender time of usage of spa facilities. Male could only use it during the early morning or during the day. However, guests are normally using this in the evening. Curtains were in the first room to bright and not comfortable. Change of rooms with normal curtains helped a bit but still a bit bright

The location is in downtown and Tiger City is near. It's easy to walk around and find the restaurants and cafes that you like. The breakfast is nice, with so many kinds of food to choose from.

The elevator is slow. During the rush, such as after breakfast and before the checkout time, you have to wait for a long time.

Clean, reasonable room size & bathroom, nice & helpful staff

Only one comment on the buffet breakfast. So far there are a lot of choice of foods, but the taste of foods are very normal… I will suggest to provide less option of food choice but more quality on each dish.

Only stayed for two nights, the hotel is the right size for ease of access. Room is clean, modern and luxurious. Bed is comfortable. Will stay here if I need to come back to Taichung again.

The included breakfast is nice and great variety. But the menu is the same every day. Gets the job done.

Beautiful art deco interior. Very comfy bed. A/C can both cool and heat the room. Remote controlled blinds are pretty neat. Heated outdoor pool makes it almost possible to swim in the winter!

No bidet nor heated seat in the toilet, which seems to be a bit of style over substance.

Service and food was impeccable! The room was huge and comfortable to live in!

It was a little dusty when I first entered, but after the first morning of room service, everything was spotless. The sofa is a little sus though! Wouldn’t recommend sitting on it!

Lin Hotel is nicer than I expected. We stayed on 18th floor. Room has a ceiling to floor window with great view. AC was strong enough so it was very comfortable during the hot summer. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is awesome with many food choices.

I don't really like the carpet and sofa in the room. they appears to be dusty. some corners are not thoroughly cleaned. Trash can is rusty. But not a big issue for us.
