I had an unexpectedly delightful stay at the Mu Lan Motel! Even though we booked extremely late, we managed to secure a remarkably spacious room, which was a huge bonus. The interior was impressively luxurious, providing plenty of space for our kids to run around freely—something every parent appreciates! The bed was generously sized, easily accommodating one adult and two kids, making our night incredibly comfortable.

Two minor issues slightly dampened our experience. The bathroom tended to flood quite easily, which required extra caution, especially with kids around. Additionally, the room's heater wasn't functioning properly and ended up blowing cold air instead of warmth—not ideal for a chilly night.

Really enjoyed breakfast being delivered to the room and overall larger room area.

It would have been ideal if there was a form of transport for luggage up the room, as there was stairs

As I am from Japan I have experience staying in "Love" hotels in Japan a lot. So, it was interesting for me to compare similar hotels in Taiwan. Mulan has a very spacious room, with greenery, a big TV, for those who come in a car, there is a garage for a car, so it is convenient. The staff are very nice and always ready to help. There are many restaurants around the motel, department stores are not so far, it takes 15 minutes on foot, and the night market takes around 20 minutes.

The breakfast was so so.

The staffs all are super friendly throughout our 3 days stay and the service they provided is great like they will text us before we reach taiwan to confirm our stay and let us early check in for paying some fees which is great as our flight is quite early. The room is super big and clean. Got instant hot or warm boiling water to drink which is a bonus! We like the bathtub alot too as can relax in it after walking alot :) Will def book Mulan if we come back to taitung again!

The breakfast menu for Western is fixed everyday.

Room at level 2 was big and has it own parking garage level 1. Great if you are on a road trip. TV is huge to watch your favourite programs. The staff were extremely thoughtful and helpful. Bought us breakfast - local delights. Thank you.

Maybe it was the rainy seasons, there were some mosquitoes. However when I provided the feedback, the staff immediately got to work and setup additional mosquito coil. Thank you.

Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is spotless and very well designed. I and my partner had an incredible experience to stay in a motel like Mulan.

It's a little pity that I could not book a room that is with a massage chair as seen on other reviews. However it's not a deal breaker. We still pretty much enjoyed our stay.

The room is huge! 100sqm with this pricing is totally worth to try it out! The room have it own garage, little garden and small koi fish. They also prepared 蚊香 to keep mosquitoes away I guess it's not bathtub but a super big spa space, that's amazing! Check in is smooth and easy. Staff are very friendly also.

Bed too soft.

The room was incredibly spacious, especially considering cost and what that can get you at other hotels by comparison. The quality of the room was impressive as well. Highly recommended.

The music option in the spa room and bed room didn't seem to work. And there was a bathrobe in the photos but they weren't provided. Little misleading and would have been a nice touch to be included.

The room was massive! Never stayed in such a big room before! There is a massage sofa as well! The bathroom is incredible spacious that I thought I was in a public sauna place where it can actually fits 10 people. We were very happy about the cost as well! The hotel is located in a fancy area in Taichung.

The breakfast was ok but it could be better!

We got upgrade to the room, the facilities and staff are excellent! Only the breakfast is room service and it wasn’t delicious as a few years ago. But over all are great
