I stayed at the Kindness Day Hotel, situated on the 6th floor in a Superior Family Room. The room featured excellent air conditioning, blackout curtains, and a double bed. It was well-structured with ample counter space in both the room and bathroom. The room was stocked with towels, bathroom amenities, coffee, tea, and water, including a fridge. The hotel offered a small balcony which was nice for getting fresh air and watching the sunset. Breakfast was available until 11 AM, boasting a great selection mainly focused on Asian dishes, complemented by cereal and toast. Ice cream, cookies, and drinks were available throughout the day. In the evening, from 7-10 PM, we were allowed one drink—either juice or beer—and enjoyed a buffet with a pretty good selection of food. Parking was great and easy to use. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and spoke really good English. The hotel also provided free laundry facilities with three washers and dryers. Check-out is at noon, which was appreciated as it gave us extra time compared to other places we stayed with an 11 AM check-out. The location was decent, halfway between Anping and the West Central district. It was a 40-minute walk to Anping Fort and a 30-minute walk to the Tainan Confucius Temple. Taxis or Uber were readily available for those who preferred not to walk or did not have a car. Close by, a great coffee and lunch spot called Beefcake Coffee Roasters was just a 2-minute walk away. Across the street, a fun bar named The One offered excellent cocktails and fried chicken, along with a lovely view of the river. One area for improvement would be the bathroom lighting. It would be beneficial to add a light above the bathroom mirror that faces downward, as the current lighting in the bathroom is low. Although there is a light built into the top of the bathroom mirror, it’s not bright and faces upward, making it challenging to apply makeup. Aside from this small issue, our stay at the hotel was fantastic

Free laundry room, nice vibes, cozy room, amazing staff & have free drinks voucher everyday. Housekeeping is great too. 7-11 is less than 5mins aways!

Laundry is all the way at ground floor, breakfast price is abit pricey but not that much option. The TV channels isn’t much, would be great if you would surf YouTube or Netflix. I didn’t get the placement of the shower head stand & toilet paper holder 😅 seem abit inconvenient to me.

This is a newer hotel. Great dining area/common room with 24-hour free coffee and tea and ice cream!! The staff is super helpful. They arranged multiple taxi rides, made a great restaurant recommendation, and provided local info.

Lighting is too dark in the rooms, especially the bathrooms. This has been universally try of every hotel we have stayed in Taiwan. That is really my only minor complaint. The rooms are also too cold with the air conditioning, so we always turn it off at night when sleeping.

It was a great hotel in a continent place to travel and explore. Very comfortable and it was a wonderful surprise to find out breakfast and dinner was provided! The Japanese curry was so delicious. Breakfast was also yummy. There was a great selection of fresh pastries and other traditional Taiwanese breakfast items.

I think the room size was a little small. If travelling you couldn’t come with a lot of luggage!

The location was great since it is close to the sights but also along the river. you can borrow a bike and ride along the river or to the sights in Anping. The breakfast was good but it doesn't change and the Chinese food is much better than the American food. The ice cream and tea bar is great. The evening snack starts at 7 pm but note that it is the same food every night.

The rooms are weirdly dark.

The location is perfect because it sits on the sweet spot that's close to Anping and it's sights, as well as the West Central District that has lots of places to eat. It's free to rent bicycles, as well as get icecream from the breakfast area.

That we could only stay one night.

The interior design of the hotel adapts the styles younger, functional and modern components. I am impressed that hotel also periodically features in different co-branding products, such as Taihu ipa,

The design and deployment for guest rooms is still not out of the boundary of commercial hotel; instead, more details of daily necessities in the room exists some rooms for further discussion and improvement.

The breakfast was good. I am very impressed with the selection of the food. I will most likely come back to this hotel because the breakfast is excellent. Keep it up and I will come back again.

I did not like the laundry room since it was outside. The dryer is very bad and it takes forever to dry.

Good location, located in West Central District also nearby Anping District. The hotel offers good breakfast and various snack bar in evening. Comfortable and valuable.

The room is not so big, but comfortable.

We got a surprised, it came with a dinner and a free beer/juices on top of the standard breakfast. The hotel location was great and is excellent n super value for Money to stay here. Breakfast has a widespread too. There's a Starbucks opposite the Hotel. Awesome :p
