The hotel property is very big and looks very nice. As it was low season, we had the feeling to have the place for ourselves. The waiting staff is very friendly and professional, it was very pleasant to spend time at the restaurant by the pool thanks to them. The rooms are fairly big and kept very clean by the staff. The swimming pool is perfect. There is a direct access to the beach, the whole place looks great.

Food is hit and miss, it can very good one day and 2 days later, the same dish will taste poorly, they really need to work on their consistency (especially as their prices are close to european ones). They seemed to have low food/drinks inventory (maybe because of low season), in the 2 weeks we ended staying there, we probably had full breakfast with all the items 2 or 3 times only.

Clean, quite and so tranquil if you are a solo traveler but don’t want crowded places. The staff have kindness engraved in their hearts. The room was kept clean at all times and they frequently asked if I was comfortable. Their security top notch! 🙌🏼🔥📍 never felt safer. They made my birthday so special, the chef prepared a special cake for me and they had a surprise for me in my room when I got back to the hotel. I honestly enjoyed everything about this place, I have zero regrets and would book them again!

It is a bit far from most places and the long hours of driving from the hotel to different places was a bit overwhelming. Nonetheless I have no regrets, like I said if you are a solo traveler who doesn’t like crowds like me, this is your go to place! However I wish they could lighten up the place a bit it gets a bit lonely in the evenings. They have a nice beach view, they can make a good use of that place for some nice chilled sundowners and music!

The place was very relaxing, beautiful, with a really nice access to a cozy and beautiful beach. The bedroom was really spacious and well decorated. The bed was confortable. The restaurant is amazing, congratulations to the chef for the delicious food. The breakfast is gorgeous and veery generous! The people working there are exceptionally attentive, kind and pay attention to every detail to make your stay there feel perfect. Thank you very much for the parenthesis in your place. I highly recommend anyone to go there and enjoy the calm and warmth of their welcoming. HAKUNA MATATA!!

I like everything about the property. the resort is placed in Jambiani, in a peaceful and breathtaking position. all over the place is extremely clean, with many places where you can relax and enjoy the music or the sound of the ocean. the pool is quite big, beach beds around it or on the beach. the villa is very spacious and extremely clean. the breakfast is delicios, with a lot of local fruits, fresh juice, coffee and tea. the staff definitely impressed us with their joyful, every moment willing to help us with everything needed. for sure we will be back next year. thank yoy for all you did for us, guys! it was a pleasure for us to meet you and spend time together!

I liked the place and the privacy in the chalet with a private pool. We had everything we needed there, nothing was missing . Staff were very helpful and professional.

I didn't like the food in the restaurant much, not much choices and very small portions. The hotel restaurant needs lots of improvements in the quality and quantity. Also very very slow to serve. But overall it's okay.

The place is at a very good location conducive for relaxing and not crowded.The rooms have hot water running throughout. The hotel had a genset ready when they were power cuts.The staff was welcoming. Nyemo, Alfons, and Cosmas were so welcoming. Chef Peter's food was amazing and out of this world. And Abas, the hotel Manager was very very good. If u looking for a quiet place to relax and have fun in Zanzibar, Aquamarina is the place.

The photos need to be improved. The place is far more beautiful than the photos used to advertise the place.

It was lovely. Well situated. A little further from the crowd but perfect for what we wanted. Private beach. Fans and air conditioning. We were celebrating a few birthdays and they prepared a lovely feast for us with music and decorations and ordered us a cake. Nothing was too much trouble. Very attentive staff. Always smiling. Gwenna. Mr Abbas. Matteo. And Sharif thank you all so much xx

Showers could use a little more pressure but I'm being picky.

The environment is more beautiful than the pictures on booking.com. lots of renovations ongoing. the kitchen is ready to make anything i liked, they only wanted to make me comfortable. The staffs were really nice, supportive and always wanting me to be very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay there it was peaceful and full of love.

No traditional meals on the menu. though they will provide anything you asked for earlier.

Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and always checking if we need anything. There was a small problem with water pressure and they fixed it immedietly. It was quite impressive. The pool was clean, the room was comfy and always clean, new towels everyday. We had wonderful time there. The food was also great, freshly made and tasty. We extend our great thanks to Wena, Sheriff and Subira and the Chef. We had the best vacation there!

Jambiani is quiet in general compared to nearby Paje. There are only a few rooms on the premises which means that the premises can never get too crowded. The property is well maintained and everything is clean. Breakfast was great at the hotel however its costs $15 per adult per day. Sandwiches are available to order from the hotel. Pizza and pasta can be ordered from a partner hotel.

Other than the meal options already mentioned you will need to travel to other restaurants - traveling costs money. This is not a bad representation of the hotel. I'm just noting so that travelers consider this. The on-site restaurant was almost complete so enquire from the hotel about this before traveling. Other people mentioned bicycles but we did not see this nor was it offered to us so not sure if its still an option.
