A staying in a hotel was a really nice experience, basic, simple, beatchfront,very clean facilities, housekeeping every day, manager Rafal was trying to sort it out any issue you have, like room upgrade, staff always with a smile.

Unfortunately, there are some things that really disappoint me. First of all, photos of the hotel do not match, there is no view from the pool to the beach,cause only bushes around. Baldachin bed missing on the beach sand area. Food is too salty, probably its whole Zanzibar issue. The air condition stopped working, and staff couldn't figure out how to fix it.

Very cute little bungalows on a small but perfectly organised site. Felt secure with an ever present set of security personnel but saying that, happy to explore surrounding areas both beach wise and behind the scenes on the locals side. Used the free (deposit required) bikes for a few hours which was fun. Food here was far better than expected, breakfast was more than adequate, pleased do not listen to the moaners, they are being petty, you can select 5 or 6 options from a selection on the menu, its brought to your table, and, it's plenty enough! I actually packed a jar of Nutella, a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jam because of the reviews but, none needed, and I'm a clean freak when it comes to eating in possible dodgy kitchens or using utensils that aren't spotless, there were some restaurants I declined to eat while in zanzibar and I was actually really hungry 😬 The restaurant evening meals were delicious. Chicken noodles especially, and, live music on some nights, with the added bonus of a baby monkey as a pet with a band member while we were there, tooooo cute, his name was Peacock and I got to cuddle him! We stayed in a few different b&bs but this was my fave, nice beach, pool, rooms were fine, staff very friendly, bar and restaurant a definite plus. Apparently the sea and beaches are much nicer here from march onwards as the rainy season brings the sand levels up so the seaweed and any coral is covered but, this wasn't a problem at all. Still very beautiful. So many excursions available, please do let the hotel arrange for you, its much safer and worth the little extra for peace of mind, especially taxis. Do not dismiss this place.

We stayed in a few places where the sea was much clearer and you get that WOW factor but, as I said, it was still beautiful and it depends what time of the year it is.

The facilities were great, the location was awesome right by the beachfront.

The rooms deserve to have air conditioning, the humid in Zanzibar is unbearable and the fans provided don’t work adequately. They had a timer and not always blowing at fast speed. Due to no air conditioning, you struggle to sleep throughout the night. This was not great at all, considering the amount you pay for this resort.

Wonderful hotel and we got a beautiful room with ocean view. Fantastic to wake up and see the sunrise from bed. Breakfast was great, you get a list with options to choose from and for us there was enough variety. Staff were very helpful. Pool was good, always available sunbeds, and the beach was always kept clean from seaweed and other things that wash up during high tide. Also we found two really great restaurants nearby, so got plenty of food options even though there isn’t much of a ”city” or like restaurant street.

Little bit hard to go for a swim in the ocean, more rocks in this area of the beach compared to other parts. No access to a supermarket or any small shops nearby.

I loved the breakfast, staff and location. The people were friendly and the rooms were well equipped. The common areas (pool and beach beds) were comfortable.

The regular menu for food was quite expensive and not that diverse but fortunately, there were plenty of spots within walking distance. But the food itself is good!

Cinnamon is really nice hotel. We had a room with balcony and see view and we loved it, it was great to watch the sunrise every morning. We loved the atmosphere there. Everyone in the hotel was so nice, staff at restaurant were really friendly with good energy. The food was perfect, amazing breakfast. Swimming pool was also really great. You can go on different trips from Cinnamon as it is in good location. We can only recommend this hotel and if we ever come again to Zanzibar, we will definitely come back to this hotel.

Only two bottles of water (1 liter in total) for two persons for whole day. You need to buy another water in the restaurant.

Management was rude and we believe playing games. We booked a suite through travel agent which they did not provide, then extended our stay through Booking.com (paid online) and they told us was not available, even after sending confirmation email from the hotel.

The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, fresh towels every day, a bottle of water in the room - wonderful. The beach is clean and has been cleaned up after the ocean tide. High and low tides - beautiful scenic and all this can be admired from the loungers on the beach. The food in the restaurant is varied, including a burger, something Asian and local seafood. Breakfast - you must order from a special menu, which includes breakfast sets. Everything is freshly prepared, delicious and, most importantly, there is no withered fruit or other products on the buffet. Thank you very much for your hospitality and we recommend it!!!!

My friend and I stayed at this charming hotel in Zanzibar and couldn't have been more pleased. The location is fantastic – nestled in a serene environment yet conveniently close to Paje for city excursions. The bungalows are adorable and exude a relaxed atmosphere. Easy access to both Paje and Stone Town via tuk-tuk or taxi adds to the convenience. We were blown away by the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, their exceptional service and genuine hospitality made our experience unforgettable. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate any request exceeded our expectations, leaving us with fond memories of their outstanding care. Highly recommended for a tranquil getaway!
