Beautiful hotel with simple but good rooms. Very serene and private atmosphere. Small-scale and feels more like a family guest house than a hotel. Owner is very kind and accommodating and the food is amazing! And all for a very reasonable price. - Nothing. Rooms could still use a few facilities (like bed lights, little decoration) but the hotel had just opened and this will come very soon.

We were blown away by the location of our room which was 50 feet from the sea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellant as was the breakfast. The pool area and sun beds were kept very clean at all times.

Do not be put off by the slightly untidy streets in the village outside the hotel, this is Africa. It is not the hotels responsibility but it would make a much better first impression if the area around the reception and boutique entrances were made a little cleaner. It may seem a bit unsafe at first but we had no problems at all.

We were the group of friends and staff was always eager to help, make the tables so that we can sit together during meals :) living on a beach and admirong the ocean was wonderful. We had a very pleasant stay. We really loved everybody but Marta stole our heart :) we will miss this place and will come back in some time.

No air conditioning. Nights were a bit difficult but we knew that before booking. The tempersture st nights are almost the same as in the day and be aware of that before booking.

Everything was amazing, this was by far my favourite hotel on Zanzibar, located a few meters from a great beach. Room was great and spacious, the staff was super nice, the owner was very helpful and accommodating. It had super comfortable sunbeds. The food in the restaurant was delicious, we had great breakfasts and dinners there. And last but not least, the internet was working perfectly in all the hotel.

The only small point of criticism is that there was no place to hand towels in the bathroom

I wish i coud stay more

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate changes to my departure date. The food was absolutely delicious. This was a truly memorable stay in a vibrant part of Jambiani. I will deeply miss the idyllic scene of children playing football on the beach as the sun slowly sets over the ocean.

Wonderful stay at this beachfront property! They arranged reasonable transport from the airport, and the owner was kind enough to upgrade our room so we had a ocean view. We were endlessly entertained by watching children collect clams, sail small boats, and play with the waves right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the chef accommodated a no-egg allergy. The bar/restaurant also served good dinners, played nice background music and hosted Euro Cup fans. At checkout, the owner accepts payment in USD at the interbank exchange rate, in TZS or via credit credit (with only 3.5% surcharge). We'd happily stay again!

Our room had a broken windowpane and we couldn't get the mosquito net to quite close properly. Fortunately, we didn't actually notice any mosquitos. The bathroom was missing a mirror over the sink and wasn't well ventilated; however, we didn't really spend much time in the room!

fast check-in, clean linen and towels, great breakfast and service, good location, easy to find-sign boards are everywhere on the roads, good service from staff (was tired and need room quickly-the guy on arrival moment understood it and took me to the room without any other conversations! Amazing vibes and great location. It is directly on the beach so it feels like private access - blue water and soft sand. Very good lounging area with a beach view and amazing shady palm trees. The servers are very friendly and extremely welcoming, food is good too with a good drink selection. The owner is also very kind. Me and my sister had a wonderful time and definitely planning on coming back.

Small note - no kettles in the room.
