My family and I had an absolutely perfect stay at IFA Beach Resort ! The hotel is beautifully maintained, ideally located in a calm and peaceful setting, and the reservation team took a good care of my requests to give us an incredible spot right by the sea. Falling asleep every night to the soothing sound of the waves was simply magical … But above all, what made our experience unforgettable was the team ! They are wonderful I would like especially to mention : Mr Ali who took care of our reservation and made sure we were nicely welcomed Said, Andrew and captain Haji who taught us swahili and took care of us always and made sure we were not missing anything and tailing their service to make us as comfortable as possible. Our superstar Sihaini and Ahmed feeding us with excellent dishes always with a big smile and a funny word to put us in a good mood ! They quickly felt like part of the family, always warm, attentive, and ready to share genuine moments of hospitality coming from the heart. We enjoyed many convivial and memorable times together, which made our stay even more special. Everything was flawless from out arrival until out departure, and we will definitely be coming back !

Nothing, everything was perfect

We stayed for 5 days and were very happy with the accommodation. The location is excellent, right by a beautiful beach, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the pool and the well-kept surroundings of the resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and fresh—perhaps a bit repetitive over the days, but still enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful surprise the staff prepared for a birthday – it truly made our stay special and memorable. We would definitely recommend this place!

Real value for money. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and the staff readily helped with luggage, checking us in and even accommodated a late breakfast as we all slept in. Amazing sea views from the resort. The staff joined our family in NYE celebration and were loads of fun.

Quite a distance from the major attractions and being in a village, limited things to explore. Electricity outages common occurrences a few times a day but the resort has generators. Was uncomfortable in the heat when the aircon didn't work effectively. Breakfast basically the same daily but is sufficient although options limited.

Loved the spacious and calm atmosphere here. Located on a beautiful beach. The staff were lovely. The food was cooked from fresh which means you will have to wait but it is well worth it as everything we had was delicious. The rooms are clean and spacious. Amazing value for money.

The only thing I didn’t like was that the kids pool was very cold. They may need to add a pump to circulate the water with the main pool as it was just too cold for us to use.

Beach was clean. Pool was superb. The room had a fridge and aircon BUT DID NOT HAVE A SAFE and we were robbed on our last night. It is what it is and the matter is with the police. The resort has cameras everywhere so that was super helpful. Food whilst simple was delicious and well priced. Oodels of hot water in the shower. Clean linen, towels readily available. There was so much privacy at the resort. Plenty of space. AND, right on the beach.

Bedroom doors need to be easily lockable. A night security guard would be useful.

One of the best hotels in Jambiani. Large quiet area. Great pool. Large room with sea view and direct access to it. Cleaning every day. Quiet neighbors. Restaurant with breakfast and beer. Hot water from a heater. Generator in case of power outage. Free Wi-Fi throughout the entire territory. Nice beach 50 steps from the room. Closed area. Excellent polite staff. Availability of other interesting places. There are many restaurants nearby, there is a shopping center and a cave lake. Other beaches can be reached by taxi. The city is an hour away by car. Refrigerator, air conditioning and fan in the room.

Not very new plumbing. The power stabilizer in the room was faulty, it was quickly replaced.

The location is amazing, the hotel is beach front and you can have your breakfast looking at the beach. The same restaurant also serve food a la carte, so you can have lunch and dinner there. Other options are available nearby if you're willing to walk by the beach and explore. The pool is also nice. The room was clean and well organized.

It doesn't feel like a resort as the name suggest, but it's comfortable enough. Simple, but good. The breakfast can take a while to be served, so if you have an appointment, take this into consideration.

The hotel is clean,very good space for the kids to play,they had trampoline,and dats board ,a big play field for the kids to play soccer as well.and comfortable space for the parents to sit with the kids as they play.There was a staff constantly sitted watching the gate entrance and so I felt the security was good enough.The hotel.manager took the effort to take us for free for a traditional event at makunduchi

There is a deserted boat at the entrance of the hotel which spoils the view on arrival.

Me and my wife liked everything about this place. Friendly staff, the place is always clean, the best view of the ocean in jambiani. The owner was really kind and friendly. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful stay.

I didn't like the fact that I didn't book a longer stay. Next I will stay longer.
