Walking barefoot between the beach, the room, the restaurant. The staff is super welcoming as well as food that is really delicious

Check-out at 10.45 is no-sense. It should be at 12 as in all hotels. It’s a bit odd such time giving the room rate per night you pay. They propose late check-out for 70$ which is no good value for money if you leave in the early afternoon.

The standard of food was not as great as I would have expected and the veggie options were very limited. We informed the hotel before our stay that we had a requirement for veggie options but this was not taken into account.

We had an absolutely delicious time at Sharazad Boutique hotel on the beach! The location is perfect, right on the white sand beach, and you can walk to many restaurants and bars nearby. Having said that, we enjoyed many delicious dinners at the restaurant - especially their crab pasta and grilled seafood. The whole team is extremely attentive and warm, and caring - making our stay even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to the fabulous Jackie and her team at the restaurant, their joy and attention to service is so precious. You all made our honeymoon extra special, we can't wait to be back!

My stay at this place was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the kindness and warmth of the people—it truly made the experience unforgettable. The accommodations were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a sense of comfort and luxury. The service was impeccable, with staff going above and beyond to ensure every need was met. And to top it all off, the location was breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the ocean that made every moment feel magical. It was a perfect blend of beauty, hospitality, and relaxation—an experience I’ll cherish forever.

There was nothing I didn't like about this property.

As it is small and cozy hotel then eating( also breakfast) is a la carte and kitchen is really good, coffee is good and restaurant seating area(outdoors only) provides relaxing views. Nice choice of wines and cocktails served from glass like tableware even at the pool/beach area. Local "salesman" are polite enough and not too many, they are also kept away from Hotel territory. Two hotels share same facilities but remain a boutique quality. Staff is friendly and helpful. Trips are organized even with with short notice. Nearby at the beach also many other eating places, which we did not visit as hotel restaurant provides variety of good quality food (probably not always cheapest choice in the jambiani beach) Rooms are spacious and bed was good. You can use either fan or AC. Nice touch with complimentary beach bag and hats for use during your stay. Excellent wifi in rooms and outdoor areas. Beautiful outdoor areas, with lot of sunbeds, swings and seating areas. Small pools are with good temperature. Electricity outage is rather regular, but this is more about country than hotel maybe.

I liked generally everything. If to comment anything then outdoor seating areas are in some cases decorated with colorful canvas pillows, which could be cleaned or changed more frequently. Very limited closet room

The photos and any description do not do justice to Sharazad Boutique Hotel or the experience it provides. Located right on the beach, it offers every comfort and countless spaces for leisure and relaxation. I must highlight the extremely professional and very friendly staff, which makes the experience even more amazing. Last but not least, the food prepared in the open kitchen is full of flavour! Thank you very much for the fantastic holiday you gave us!

Beautifully unspoilt part of Zanzibar’s east coast. Not too many Beach Hawkers although they weren’t pushy and respected hotel’s open boundaries.

Difficult to get constant hot water in the room - fortunately the weather meant tepid showers were fine. Although the staff were very attentive, it would have been better had they regularly checked to see if we wanted drinks during the day versus us having to go to the bar itself. The property entrance from the public road is uninspiring and initial impressions upon arrival weren’t good although quickly dispelled once we got to the reception area.

The property was lovely- spread out with a long stretch of beach and with sufficient lounge chairs, hammocks, swings to enjoy the beach.. Staff were amazing and catered to all my needs! Food was delicious and I loved my drinks too.. The room was comfy with minimalist decor that I really liked. I felt safe as a solo traveler.

I used the spa (which I am not sure if it was outsourced) and while the massage was relaxing, I felt the spa could be upgraded to match the quality of the hotel.

The rooms were big, spacious, light and comfortable. Plenty of facilities. Good location

Wi-Fi in room was not the best

The staff were the real winners here! They made us feel like we were VIP special guests and were all so friendly and helpful. They organised a local sail boat ride and there were lots of facilities available. We had a table reserved for us every night at the restaurant with a nice view of the beach. The room was stunning~ it truly felt like we were on a retreat and our room was immaculately made up by the house keeping staff. We hope to return one day!
