DOO DEE was a paradise .tucked away with amazing greenery and individual chalets. There was a lovly pool , a small massage centre run by locals. The restaurant attached was run by a family and great value for money The pad Thai was amazing and every curry better than the next.Also large beers on happy hour as well as cocktails. You could access the beach in AuNang in 5 minutes walk. Doo dee rented bicycles and mopeds. It was a lovly quiet area. Apartment cleaned regularly and staff so friendly and helpful both at reception and in the restaurant. We were a family re uniting and this little resort was perfect. Au _nang beach beautiful and access to long tail boats to visit other beaches.Wear shorts and flip flops if using long tail boats. Also monkey trail close by. Raleigh beach close by. Lots of restaurants to suit all tastes and good value for money. Night Market 2 mins away and good to eat here also.It has a good vibe with a variety of entertainment. This was a haven to relax. We felt we were the only ones there. It was really peaceful but you could access as much life as you wanted close by. I will definitely return and stay here.

Doo Dee is excellent value for money! The staff are incredibly lovely and extremely friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The pool is fantastic, set amidst beautiful tropical surroundings that make for a serene and relaxing environment. Breakfast offers great value, and the bar is equally impressive. The location is convenient—less than a 10-minute walk to Ao Nang’s center and beaches. The room was decent, with a comfortable mattress and a well-functioning air conditioner. Fresh towels and water supplies were provided daily, adding to the overall pleasant stay.

The bathroom is functional but in need of renovation, with dated fixtures and finishes that could be improved to enhance the overall comfort and experience.

The hotel has a beautiful environment with lots of greenery. The air conditioning works perfectly, and the pool is great (1.8m deep). The bungalows are a bit older, but they are well maintained, and the entire area is kept clean. On-site, you can book a massage, rent a car or a scooter. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious – every dish we tried was very tasty. You can also book a boat trip to the nearby islands at the hotel reception.

A slightly odd design choice regarding the toilet – it would be better if the roof fully covered the area to prevent rain from getting inside. The existing plants could be watered separately without leaving the space partially open.

I booked this hotel last minute and paid a really good price. I didn't look into the hotel much prior to arriving as i had booked so late so when I arrived and was shown round i was really really happy to see how lovely it is as for such a low price I wasn't expecting a lot, but actually this hotel has turned out to be my favourite one I've stayed at in Thailand to date! The hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool is absolutely huge and really clean with a great amount of sunbeds. The reception staff were so helpful and kind, I was able to message on WhatsApp with any questions and they replied really quickly and also helped me by booking my airport transfer for me. The rooms were so lovely, clean and spacious and the best part was the outdoor bathroom which i wasnt expecting and i absolutely loved it. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the night market and a 7 eleven and is opposite the boxing stadium. It also has its own restaurant and bar with live music and super friendly staff who remember your drink order each day. The location is perfect because its close to everything, but also tucked away so you can also enjoy some peace. I will be back...Thank you so much!

I loved everything

The hotel is better than one can expect. It was located on the outskirts of the city and we were afraid that it will be far from the beach and other attractions. Nothing like that! You may even rent a scooter in the hotel! We recommend to arrange the rental even before your arrival so to secure availability. One taxi ride to the city is 100 baht and scooter rental for one day is 250. The pool is absolutely fabulous, you can order excursions with a massive discount from city prices, massage and other beauty services are being provided locally, for the same price as in the city, with only one important exception - one is being given a massage in a 2 person bungalow under banana tree! (not with other 7 persons in a small room on the ground floor as in the city parlors). We book for next year immediately :) 2 weeks instead of 4 days.

The room was a good size for a family of 4. The manager at the front desk was very nice! Only 5 min. walk to the big night market.

The beds were not comfortable, very stif. The bathroom was not deeply cleaned. It can be loud on the lower floor of the bungalow if the people above are not careful.

The bungalows around the pool are private and comfortable and the gardens and pool area are well-cared for. The location is fairly close to the Night Market and beach, but far enough away to be quiet. There is a convenient on-site spa for massages and other treatments.

The reception and restaurant look tired and in need of a major refresh. The outdoor bathrooms get dirty quickly, especially when it rains. We felt the restaurant was pricey for the quality of food prepared. Coffee was mediocre at best.

Excellent location, very quiet, very green, but only 2 minutes away from the town, 5 minutes away from the market and the esplanade. Nice pool, really spacious family room. Staff great and easy communication via whatsapp. Excellent value for money

Restaurant is average and a bit pf higher prices then other places around, , but there are plenty of food options around, so doesn't really matter. Make sure to bring mosquito spray, plenty around)

The staff were really lovely. We all really loved tbe food, the happy hour drinks and the pool. I got a great pedicure by the pool too. All just fantastic value for money.

The leaking air con unit in our room was a bit of a worry, and the bathroom was pretty grotty, dirty round the edge of the shower and the plastic thing for the tissues. The balcony furniture was a bit sort too. We also had a bit of an issue with the transfer from the airport, but it did get sorted.

Brilliant pool and great family room stayed for 3 nights as part of a longer trip. We are a family if 6 so need a lot of space. From pre check in communication to helping getting a taxi to leave the staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The room was large with plenty of space. Daily top up of water coffee and green tea. Room cleaned each day if needed. The pool is great, deep, and clean. The kids loved it. The location is fantastic. 5 min walk and you are at the beach and the night market. If you want value for money, this is a good choice.
