We spent one week in the Orange City. If you like to walk to the beach or you have your own means of transport then this is a good choice. Supermarket and 7eleven close to the accomodation. The staff was the best, very kind and willing to help you. Sometimes we booked our tours with them and we found good deals. Breakfast included, with fresh fruit, eggs and toast it´s very good. Facilities in general very good. Quiet place.

In general our experience was very nice for holidays. They don´t provide you handtowels, only the big one. The shower pressure it´s not good but after a sunburnt we were glad for that XD. It was not directly with the Resort but they have options for buses to other destinations if you need it and we booked 2 tickets from the resort to Phuket with them. The price was good but the experience was pretty bad. We got scamed for the agency in charge so be careful, everything bad and confuse. They changed our bus 5 times during the trip and they dropped us in the middle of the avenue instead of the Airport, a lady was waiting for us there and we had to paid her for the last trip.

We stayed at The Orange Resort for two nights (although the extra day was for an early morning check-in). It is located in a relatively less touristic area in Krabi (about 1 km away from the busy Ao Nang Beach). There are ample shops, food stalls, supermarkets & self-wash laundries closeby. The staff was very welcoming & the check-in process was smooth. We got a room on the 1st floor and had to use the staircase to reach the floor. The room was clean, spacious & the bed was large. The room had a wardrobe, a television, a stool, a wall-fitted table, an air conditioner & an electric kettle. A couple of water bottles were also provided per day. The bathroom was a bit small but sufficiently spaced. Hot water worked without an issue. Towels, soap & amenities were available. Breakfast was served on the ground floor. It was a basic one & the menu was the same every day but sufficient to start off the day. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at the Orange Resort.

There were a few stains on the commode's seat cover, which was the only downside we observed in the bathroom. Apart from that, the room needs a bit of a facelift.

We loved the friendly and welcoming staff, a lovely welcome and everyone was so nice. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size with balcony. Coffee and water provided daily and the offer of daily cleaning available. The location was great for us, close to supermarket and 7 eleven and locally run restaurants with great menus. You can hire a moped if you wish abd there are local buses to take you to the beach and night market. The staff were all too happy to help with onward travel

Nothing, we loved everything

The pool was great. Note for families with little kids, there is a kind of fenced in baby pool corner which would be great for littles who can't swim yet. The staff were lovely. We liked the location a little behind all the action but we definitely had rented scooters. There is a grocery store directly across the street. We appreciated the extra coffee packets in the room. The rooms were big and had cute little balconies.

If you didn't rent a scooter, it would be a bit far from the main drag.

The location is great. It's away from where most tourists seem to go (20mins walk to the Landmark beach and 30mins to the main Ao Nang one), but right next to the best seafood restaurant in town and Wednesday night market, so we had most of what we needed right there. The rooms were clean and decent, and the staff very nice.

Our balcony had a fence right next to it and while the view was obstructed anyway, there still were slots in the fence that allowed anyone on the other side to see inside the room. The breakfast is not worth the money - I'd recommend going to the nearest intersection (where the Wednesday market is) and buying some takeaway there. It's much tastier, and cheaper. In the bathroom, there are two hidden steps that are easy to miss - I hit my toe on one so hard it went black.

The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The room was big and the air-conditioning strong. We got a toilet roll, 2 bottles of water, soap, shampoo, coffee sachets, sugar etc every day. Close proximity to a 7/11 and a supermarket. Only a short ride to Ao Nang Beach.

The bed wasn't as comfortable as we gad hoped (very hard) The wifi was down for pretty much all of day 1 which was a huge issue as we needed WiFi for our work. The drain had a smell in the bathroom.

Good sized room, kettle/m + coffee/water x2 daily. Good firm bed, balcony, separate wash basin/mirror, wardrobe, desk, seat.

Electric shower low water pressure and spray too fine. TV useless as all Thai channels. Can’t plug in charger without switching off light above bed. A bit pricey considering it was a 29 minute walk to centre of Ao Nang. Pool too small to swim in, more of a paddling pool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool and breakfast is available. Almost next-door door to a 7-11 convenience store

There was only 1 English language channel on the TV. There is a 20-25 minute walk to the beach.

Room great size, shops next door, 2min from Wednesday market, good price for the bike, next to the busy road but you can't hear it, a lot of places with good food, amazing red snapper 10min walk, local prices, this is not a touristy spot. Great location if you want to explore the krabi, but you can still walk to ao nang beach. Fresh towels and water every day.

Our room was on the ground floor with direct access to the parking area, not much privacy. This is a tiny minus, overall great value for money.

Nice little place overall, cleaners were on top and receptionists were overly friendly. Good value for money

The location isn’t great if you want to be near the beach, we also got the ground floor which meant our balcony wasn’t great however we got plenty of cats come and see us for a few days so we didn’t mind! Would recommend asking for a higher floor though.
