I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The location is superb, offering breathtaking mountain views that make every moment special. The room, while cozy, is more than enough for two people, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the option to use the hotel's shuttle service to the beach for a reasonable fee of 100 baht. While we mostly enjoyed the 20-25 minute walk to the beautiful Kamala Beach, having the convenience of a shuttle was a nice touch. For those with bikes, the beach is just a quick 5-minute ride away, making it even more accessible. However, I would like to offer a constructive suggestion for improvement. The hotel's restaurant, while convenient, could use some enhancement. Unfortunately, the food served was not as flavorful or fresh as we had hoped. It would be wonderful to see an upgrade in the restaurant's offerings to match the overall excellence of the hotel. Despite this minor setback, I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers. The positives far outweigh the negatives, and with a few tweaks to the dining options, this place could easily become a five-star destination. The attentive staff, stunning views, and comfortable accommodations make it a memorable choice for a getaway. I look forward to returning and experiencing any positive changes that may come.

Restaurant

There isn't the restaurant service also for the breakfast but avery rooms has a little kitchen. The swimming pool is really quite whit a lot of green outside, beautifull place to relax! The staff was really kind with us with all our request!

Everything was good

We stayed here for new years eve so the prices were understandably a bit inflated for the time of year but we were pleasantly surprised after reading a lot of mixed reviews. The rooms feel like serviced apartments and everything was very clean. The shuttles running to the beach and town were very regular and even took us down and picked us up when we arrived late on the first night. There was always someone at reception to help us. The pool is small but clean, we didn't use it as would rather spend time at the beach. It's more of a hotel than a resort but with the use of the shuttle it's a great location.

Was very upset that restaurant there was closed and pool bar as well. No shops around the house at all. Would be nive to have small fridge at the reception with water and beer.

Beautiful property, my view was stunning. Rooms was clean. Excellent shuttle service. Lovely pool. Hitel is further away from beach and busy areas, just like i wanted, peaceful

General Maintenance in rooms needed, Gym needs a facelift. Walls are thin, so can hear neighbors during the night.

The room was so spatious with lots of cupboards and even equipped with a kitchen. The bed was sooo comfortable. We didn’t experience any issues with the breakfast like others previously did because it was served just by the poolside from the Lafayette Café. They had a large choice on both food and drinks menu including freshly pressed juices, Iced Coffee etc. which were delicious. The location was also more than okay for us as the shuttle service turned out to be reliable except for one time in the evening. Just a tip: When you are planning to take the last free shuttle home from Kamala, maybe call it in advance such that the driver knows where to collect you. Pool towels and bathing robes were a nice touch. Also free water every day. Nice and efficient cleaning service. We also rented a bike nearby at the Ohlala Restaurant down the road, which was really good and cheap. We were really sad to leave this place.

Mosque (Moschee) nearby which shouts a prayer every morning around 5 am before the sun comes up. That was disturbing in the night. If you take a shower you flood the whole bathroom because you can’t close the doors. That wasn’t a major issue for us but could be improved Nothing bad but the pool was a little bit smaller than expected but empty whenever we were there and still very pretty. No umbrellas though, which could become a problem in the afternoon.

I read a few negative reviews with comments about location, cleanliness, bugs, and there being no restaurant? There is absolutely a restaurant on location at the resort, the distance from Kamala beach is only a few minutes by bike (which you can rent daily/weekly or pay 44 baht on a grab bike) the resort was clean inside and out, the staff was lovely. Yes there are some bugs on the balcony and outdoor areas - you are in a Thai jungle… and there were some flowers and leaves in the pool (jungle). Beautiful views of the mountain and trees to wake up to.

Great Location, very quiet and surrounded by trees. View was slightly obscured by trees but this did not matter much to me. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Lovely rooftop area where one can enjoy drinks and a view of Kamala. Great shuttle service to the beach and returning from the beach. The room was great overall, very clean and quiet.

The shower in the bathroom (specifically the rain shower) sprayed all over the place. Not a big issue but did make the bathroom floor very wet. Not a big deal though.

Breakfast was in a separate location (sister hotel nearby) but the property provided us with a shuttle back and forth. The breakfast was a buffet and it was really good. Because we have 2 children, they upgraded us from a deluxe room to a much bigger villa style apartment. It was very clean and it has a rooftop which overlooked parts of Kamala where hangout at night. The room was modern and it had all the appliances plus airconditioner. The best part is that it sits on a hill so you can see all of the city and there is nature all around. There is a steep hill to get to this property which will probably deter some people but if you have transportation or take the shuttle then its not a big deal. It is about 5 minutes to the quieter Kamala beach. The pool is also a plus, you can do laps or just take dip anytime. The staff was always helpful and nice. I would recommend this for families with children and those that loves nature.

Everything was absolutely perfect and amazing. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very helpful staff! Very beautiful outdoor pool Too. Nearby to patong and attractions. It was a great place and perfect location

The food at the cafe was very flat. Unfortunately the service was bad too. Staffs not friendly or welcoming. Their local food was not up to Thailand standards. Very disappointed with their tomyam soup and pad Thai
