The room was so spacious, plenty of room for a family of 4 to stay without getting irritated and on top of each other. The rooms were impeccably clean and you could actually smell the lovely detergent off the towels. The 8 pools were brilliant for the kids and it was comfortable for us as everyone has plenty of space to enjoy. The attention staff put on entertaining kids is amazing. My kids didn’t want to leave. And the FREE kids dinner buffet every night (when with a paying adult) is incredible!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach, and would highly recommend it to all our friends and family back home who are looking for a family-friendly resort in Phuket! I went with my Mum and 11yo son and the resort is super family-friendly. We really enjoyed the pool with their slippery slides and the breakfast buffet with both western options as well as traditional Thai options, which we all loved. The highlight for me was the resort's close proximity and having direct access to the beach. I also loved the outdoor Thai Massage station that's set up within the resort which overlooks the beach, you would find me there every morning after breakfast. We also enjoyed the fact that there are plenty of beachfront restaurants within walking distance from the resort. Kamala Beach is beautiful and we would definitely come back and stay here again next time we are in Phuket!

We had lunch at the restaurant onsite and ordered a few Thai dishes. A couple of the food I thought were quite bland and didn't have that authentic Thai flavour that I was expecting. Taxi prices was very expensive if booking directly with the hotel, so we ended up using a couple of local apps similar to Uber (Bolt, Grab and inDrive) to book our ride into town (Patong and Phuket Old Town). The minimart onsite was also very expensive (800 baht for sunscreen!) so I would recommend grabbing your necessities from the 7-Eleven which is a 10-15mins walk from the resort.

Sunwing Kamala Beach is an amazing place where attention given to every detail. We did enjoy everything: the hotel, the staff, the food, the location, the atmosphere. I want to highly appreciate those staff who worked hard in the breakfast area: Chay, Koy, Bie, JJ, Fred, Tin Zaw. Those guys are extremely hardworking. Separately, I want to thank Sareena and Ranyl Ki who were super accommodating, custom-oriented and extremely professional. I can’t not to highlight two people who did so much to entertain kids and adults and boosted guests mood: Marie and Ash! With them out vacation flowed so lovely.

The hotel is great! Amazing front desk team. Kind, positive. Everything is decided on the fly. Really - he said and after two minutes (!!): they are repairing the air conditioner, cleaning the drain of the sink. After 10 minutes everything is ready. The guys in the bars and restaurants are also very positive. Everyone is very welcoming. Cleaned up regularly. Life hack - to change linen more than once every 3 days, as expected - you need to take a postcard about this from the table and put it on the bed. For towels, the rule is standard: lie on the floor in the bathroom - change it. Hanging on a hanger - I continue to use. Both restaurants are good - both central and coastal, the pools are excellent, all eight of them. The coolest is a 40 cm children's paddling pool with a mushroom near the football court. Each room has large umbrellas, useful from the rain or even the sun. There is also a great kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Hairdryer, kettle. All that is needed. Wifi is strong and very fast throughout on the whole terrytory. Hotel really "on the beach". The first line is honest. Jumped with a run over the fence - and you are on the sand under the palm trees. Separately, it is convenient that after the sea swimming session you can relax in the pool next to the coast just in 2 meters from the beach on hotel territory and opposite to the massage specialists. Great massage by the way. The price is the same as everywhere else, but the comfort and cleanliness are higher. Main tourist attractions and stores 200m near. A separate plus is its own self-service laundry room with dryers next to the reception. In high humidity, things can dry poorly and overload luggage or hand luggage. From Wednesday to Sunday from 15:00 until late at night, right 100 meters from the main entrance - the farmers' market. You can buy vegetables and fruits, taste national food in the form of soups, grills and desserts.

this is not the first time to choose Sunwing Kamala hotel. The services is much better than my last stay. All the staffs are friendly and smile to say Hi to me,makes me happy everyday🥳.the room is very clean, the disposable goods is fully provided. it has refrigerator and microwave oven. The swimming pools and other facilities are good too! The beach is just behind the hotel, we can walk on the beach before breakfast every day! The breakfast is fantastic! We have a very good time there! Thanks for all!😘😘😘😘 I will surely come to this hotel next time !

So many sunbeds. Always a great choice. Really clean and in excellent condition.

The pools were like a bath and it would have been nice if they were a bit cooler but not sure what can be done about that.

Location on Kamala Beach meant you head straight out of the gate into the thick of things, note hotel doesn't provide any sunloungers or water toys on the beach. We were upgraded to a pool access suite (Royal) which was a lovely bonus being on the ground floor next to a pool. Large range of pools to utilize, kids loved that plus the football games & ping pong tournament - a volleyball tournament for younger kids would have been awesome. Comfortable large main room, kids room was small though with nowhere to boutique their bags. Good kitchen facilities in room & nice bathroom. Note for people traveling in Thailand, use Bolt app for transport, it's half thr price of other taxis. If you're there for a Thursday definitely do the markets a couple hundred of meters away if you want street food (actual cheap street food), clothing, bags etc. Don't recommend eating at the sunlounger places on the beach, go across the bridge & turn right- excellent food & reasonable prices.

I didn't see the fine print & the pool bar excluded tax which was annoying given the likes of the cocktails were much more expensive than other resorts & they were served in a crappy plastic cup, not a nice plastic glass like oher places. No area information available in the room or details about resort facilities, didn't know about the laundry room until day before we left! It was pricier than other places we stayed in back the kids loved it - good for 3-4 days.

A great number of pools and with different depths and slides. Buffet every morning was amazing. Staff were always friendly and helpful Aircon in the room was very efficient. Location was fabulous. The information regarding attractions and events in the area was most helpful. Our young children loved it

The mosquitoes, which isn’t the resorts fault. There is a large proportion of guests from a particular country that are not polite.

The staff were very polite, right from receiving us, giving clear instructions about the resort, the cleaning of the rooms was fantastic too. I did not even have to inform them to clean the room. Another important aspect about the hotel is their sustainability efforts, really noteworthy and commendable. It is also right at the beach front. There are a lot of eateries, 7-11 and massage parlours within 3-5 min walking distance. There is a massage parlour within the resort itself and it is very cheap. Also the regular night market in the kamala area is within 5 min walking distance too. Overall our stay was very good.And i dont mind staying here again.

I liked the beachfront. Access really close, plenty of restaurants. I liked the hotels main restaurant Thailand meal menu and food. The Western food was expensive and not very good, so we didn’t order it after one meal.

The breakfast wasn’t great. The bread was stale, the scrambled eggs made me feel sick, and the overall options were lacklustre.
