My family, my partner, and I stayed at Sabina Guesthouse for a week and really enjoyed our time there. We had a lovely little room in the “backyard” area with a spacious terrace where the five of us would sit together in the evenings to play games, eat, and chat. The air conditioning worked perfectly, everything was clean, and the room was tidied up almost daily. One day, we had no electricity or water, but this affected all of Kamala due to nearby construction—so definitely not the guesthouse’s fault. Breakfast was à la carte and always delicious. We especially loved the waffles and pancakes, but the American breakfast was also a great option. We usually prefer buffet-style breakfasts, but we know that’s not very common in Thailand. There was only one night when we didn’t have water in the room, probably because we forgot to press the toilet flush button back up manually—something you need to do after every flush. Sabina and her family are incredibly kind and helpful. They’re truly lovely people, and we’re very grateful for their hospitality. The beach is within walking distance, and there are several restaurants, travel agencies, massage salons, etc., close by. Sabina was very accommodating and even let us check out late, which we appreciated so, so much. All in all, we had a lovely stay!

The only downside—and the reason we’re giving one star less—is that the room my family stayed in was facing the street and quite noisy. Unfortunately, the traffic noise impacted their sleep quality. Our room in the back was much quieter (not completely silent, but perfectly fine for the location). Also, the extra bed for my little sister was a bit uncomfortable.

The ground floor room at the back was very quiet, being away from the traffic. lots of eateries, massage and beauty type businesses nearby, plus a few supermarkets within walking distance as well. excellent wifi

The mattress on the bed was very hard, but I have back issues so it might not be hard for others. I didn't realise there was a spiral staircase so I'd booked a room with a balcony. Being in my 70's the spiral staircase was beyond me, but the staff moved me into a ground floor room the next day, once it became available. The front rooms were right next to the road, so that room was very noisy, but the back rooms were lovely and quiet.

What lovely hosts, so helpful and friendly. They helped us with our suitcases, and kept them safe on the day we left as we had a late flight. They have a choice of breakfasts cooked just how you like it, and fresh fruit and orange juice. The bedclothes and towels were changed every day, and the whole place is kept spotless.

There's very little in the way of cutlery or crockery if you plan to make a sandwich or cut or peel fruit in your room. Luckily, we always carry a small knife with us, and we managed very well for the 4 days we were there.

I got what I paid for; a clean budget hotel in a great location for Kamala beach. It is a family run guest house and I found the family very friendly and accomodating. It is a budget hotel and I did not rent a balcony room, so no views from the room, but a good price and clean in a very good location for all activities. They provide a pleasant budget breakfast also

We had the loveliest stay here. The room had character and was very spacious. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Sabina and her family were so warm and welcoming, and we enjoyed breakfast and coffee downstairs both mornings. We would highly recommend staying here if visiting Kamala!

The bathroom was a little rough around the edges but perfectly functional. The road was noisy which we didn't mind at all but it's something to be aware of if you are looking for tranquility.

My hosts at Sabina Guesthouse were very hospitable, kind, and helpful. The room had a great view of the river with a private balcony and was kept in clean condition. For the amenities that are provided I think it's a great value for a solo traveler of couple. *They also gave me a free upgrade and allowed me to extend my stay! Any questions or concerns I had they were more than happy to assist me. I'm grateful for my time spent there and would definitely stay again.

We had a quiet room with a large wooden terrace from which we have enjoyed the view and sounds from nature. It really felt like staying to some friends' place: from the warm welcome, to the tasty breakfast with homemade jam, to advices and help with anything we needed. The beach is at a rather short walking distantace. Definitely a price-worth stay.

This is a family run business where mother, father and daughter deliver an oustanding service. They're lovely people! The location is amazing, few minutes walking to the beach. I was in the room on the top floor, it was huge with a large veranda where I peacefully read a book during a morning thunderstom. It might get a bit noisy so bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise.

Great location and a 5 minute walk to the beach. My room was on the top floor in the back of the guesthouse which was unique and had a rustic touch to it which made it different from any other guesthouses I've stayed in. It's also a short walking distance to shops such as 7/11 and many local restaurants.

Close to everything. In main street, little bit noisy, but awesome to sit on the balcony and watch the street life. Owners are the most amazing people. Breakfast is great.

Noisy through out the night, but when we went to our next accomodation, we missed it. Everything else makes up for it.
