My partner and I had an amazing stay at this family run hotel. Located a five minute stroll to the beach, on a street full of local food restaurants, it is peaceful at night and will allow for a great night sleep.  The people working at the hotel have beeen very friendly and helpful. They put us in contact with a local business who provided a driver to see Phuket main attractions, they provided an excellent, quick and cheap laundry service, and they were always ready to help if we needed something. As a bonus, you may enjoy spotting the outdoor cat who will provide free entertainment for you and your fellow travellers. Among his favourite activities: doing splits and squatting low on the ground to absorb every single ray of sun. Thanks Baan Kamala for a great stay. Highly recommended! 

Great budget hotel, near the beach. Not in the chaotic area. Busy area with everything you need but away from the chaos. Lots of halal food for the Muslim traveller, especially stalls on the beach. Friendly staff who go over and above to help. Great service. Even made suggestions so that I get a cheaper taxi ride to the airport. Well decorated small hotel. It's a budget hotel but you get more than your money's worth. Good WiFi, strong shower, nice balcony with sink and area to dry your clothes. No view from balcony as it's not on frontline but still very close to the beach. And I mean, where do you get a balcony with a sink and a hanging area for your wet clothes when you come from the beach? I could stay here longer. If I come back , I will stay here again. I don't give 10/10 ratings easily but this property got 10/10. Staff are a great asset to the hotel. Please reward your staff. I am a vlogger and will do a yt review separately. The staff were amazing. They organised suppose decorations and a cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. They provided beach towels and beach matts whenever you needed them. Location right next to the beach and lots of cafes and bars in walking distance. Lots of taxis close by to go to patong, elephant sanctuary and Fantasea (can also walk in about 10 mins to fanstasea). would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

Liked everything, nothing to fault.

Very friendly and comfortable hotel, a short walk to the beach. Really friendly Popeye restaurant joined to the side, serving good food all day long. Many bars, shops, and good local services. Room was quiet and peaceful all night long. Would be very pleased to stay here again.

Everything was good

This is a good budget hotel for 1-2 nights. Fridge and kettle were very handy. It's off the main road so not noisy. It's a 7min walk from the Smart bus stop on the main road, 5 min to the "tourist street" with shops and restaurants and 8-10 min to the beach. The staff is very nice. A good hotel for the price. The area is very safe with private houses around and a couple of restaurants 2 min away.

It's quite functional and not as cosy. Cleaniness was ok but as others mentioned, dust lumps from under the door. The outside paint job is also a bit outdated.

Wonderful place! Staff is very friendly and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it!

There were minor issues with AC which were fixed very fast!

The room was big, fresh water, tea and coffee everyday. Cleaned everyday with new bedding and towels. We didn’t do it everyday as it’s not needed.

Room was clean, roomservice was good. The Apartment was very creative but cozy right on the rooftop.

The Penthouse Apartment i had was very noisy since its 360 degrees windows - and no noise reduction windows - and the main road and Nightlife area is right next. Hotel was bot able to give me a different room.

Clean and comfortable room. The staff was extremely friendly from start to finish.

There isn't really a good place where to dry your clothing. It's better you pick a room with a balcony for that.

Great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast was across the road at the neighbouring hotel- very easy and great selection. It's less than 10 minutes walk to the beach.
