There were lots of pools with plenty of sun-beds. The room was clean and spacious and they provide towels for the room and pool, changing them on a daily basis. The room also had a kitchen with all the utensils needed and although we didn’t go is a 5 minute walk from carnival magic and phuket fantasea.

If you cooked in the room there were no washing up facilities so dirty pots and pans didn’t get cleaned until 3pm the next day. The location was also a bit bad however the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to the beach every 2 hours (it forgot to pick us up!!!). The restaurant is also extremely expensive for Thailand so it’s worth cooking your own food.

Good location, only a short walk to the shops and a local market, reasonably short walk to the beach. Comfortable bed, decent size kitchen and bedroom with lots of storage space. Efficient air conditioner and very well lit.

Although there is a kitchen with a stove top and a fridge, there's nothing provided to actually utilize this kitchen. We have been given a set of pots and a frying pan upon request, but the pan was awfully rusty and would be a health hazard to cook on. I ended up buying a new one, along with tea towels, dishwashing liquid and a sponge, and a cloth for wiping down the bench tops. Also, there's a lack of hooks to hang the towels in the bathroom and no cloth horse of any sort on the balcony to dry some bathers or towels.

We were 2 people. The room was huge and felt like a house. Very clean and cool. Nice chilling pool. There’s a medical Center right next to the hotel (which we needed unfortunately) and they had a 10% discount for the guests of the hotel

The one thing I think needs improvement is that the staff in the facilities, like the pool and bar, doesn’t speak good English and we had difficulty in communication for basic staff. Other than that. Excellent service, kind and smily people.

The hotel is located at an ideal spot, 10 minutes walk from Kamala beach, 7 minutes walk from Carnival Magic (highly recommended). The hotel is beautifully decorated with modern amenities. The room was clean and spacious, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was delicious! The rooftop restaurant was also very nice.

There are very few sunbeds by the swimming pool, so if you don't claim your spot early in the morning, you most likely won't find a place to sit. We also thought the breakfast was quite limited so most days we would buy fresh pastries and juice from the cafe at the main lobby instead. We also tried the foot massage at the hotel's spa, and we were quite disappointed. The masseuse seemed unexperienced, and the massage was pricier than most massage parlors in phuket.

new brand apartment.. really nice for me.. fasiliti so good.. nice pool at lower ground.. and cozy pool at rooftop.. the price is reasonable for me.. room very up to date.. got kitchenware which it you can reheat or cook your meal.. not really big hall but is ok and comfortable for small family. i reaally like it.. distance to beach also near.. and distance to pa tong just 10min drive.

We stayed here over Christmas and there was a hefty group of 18 .. we slightly took over the pool bar but the staff made us feel so welcome and actually took a picture of us all to show how busy they were. The rooms were decent, air con very cold! However only one mirror and that was in the bathroom which for a girl isn’t ideal as the lighting was so bad.. the roof top pool soon became our place to hang out as it was literally like a private area not many people knew it was there. Perfect location for a group of friends to celebrate Christmas!!

The mirror in the bathroom was the only one in the room.. would prefer if there was a few more. We cooked once but there wasn’t a lot of utensils

3 pools, Sky Bar, helpful staff, gym.

Sometimes crowded and loud, specially with loud motorbikes driving in front of your bedroom and driver don't care about others during nighttime. The hotel is full with russian families, at pool sites it can get really loud, since there are many children playing.

Everything! People (both staff and guest), location, easy access to local shops and local people, views from the rooftops, different pool locations, value for money, bar and food services, excellent variety of choices for food and beverages, atmosphere, safe and secure environment, clean & comfy accommodation, services like free (shuttle to & from beach), freedom of movement, professionalism, polite, friendly, respectfully inclusive, easy check-in/out, all staff very accommodating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Citygate Kamala Resort and Residence, and I can genuinely say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The apartment-style room was spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, which made it easy to prepare simple meals during my stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall design of the room felt both stylish and functional – perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring Phuket. One of the highlights for me was the rooftop pool. It offers a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful views – ideal for enjoying a swim or just unwinding with a drink. The other common areas, including the fitness centre and spa, were well maintained and added great value to the experience. The location is excellent, just a short 10-minute walk to Kamala Beach. For added convenience, there’s also a free shuttle service to the beach every couple of hours. The area around the hotel is calm and safe, which made it a perfect base for a relaxing getaway. What truly stood out was the kindness of the staff. Everyone I encountered was polite, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Whether you’re staying for a few nights or planning a longer trip, I highly recommend this resort. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I loved the roof tops pool and food, I loved the pool with the pool bar, I really love how big the place was. We had breakfast included and it was good. Location was a plus for us walking distance to stores, markets and beach if you really wanted to. Our room was so functional, spacious and comfortable as well as clean.

Nothing, there was nothing to dislike or that I experienced that I would put down to dislike. Even with the blackout we had for 1hr everything was calm. Still had lights in the lobby, hallways on each floor, that if we weren't watching movies at the time in the room and was downstairs by the pool we wouldn't have known there was a blackout. Even the pool lights and bar with music was still on. So yes just the powers in all rooms went out and everyone came out of the room and seemed calm, like nothing and just left their doors open for the light in the hallway to be used in rooms. So yes very proud and happy of the Staff.
