Fantastic stay at Ayara Villas for our family of 4 (1 toddler and 1 baby). The hotel was so clean and staff were wonderful. There to help with anything you need. Breakfast was delicious and fantastic selection with both western and Thai choices (with real bacon too). Room was modern, clean and big. The maid did a great job everyday cleaning the room. Such a wonderful stay and can only recommend the stay. The hotel was a little bit of a walk from the centre but we knew this. It suited us just fine.

Nothing not to like about the property. All was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The beach was choppy and you need to be careful but that is not the hotels fault. Just good to be aware of it before booking if this is a problem for you.

After a slight hiccup with the room allocation upon arrival, the manager @ Ayara, Mai, helped my family and I to fix up the issue as quick and stress free as possible 😊🙏🏻 The location is spot on with a beautiful private beach leading into the turquoise ocean 🩵 There is a massage place on the beach, too. The restaurant @ Ayara was some of the best food we have had in Thailand. 5⭐ The pool's - they have 3! - were spotless. I have stayed in many hotels but they had the best kept pools to swim in than any place I have stayed 🤍 The rooms were clean and lovely. The location was just a 7 minute walk from the main strip with many bars and restaurants, although, we did not need to go far because all of our needs were at the hotel 😌👌🏻 There is a small shop with water, sun screen, ice cream etc just a 4 minute walk up the road. We had an excellent stay in Ayara Villas. We went to Khao Lak as part of our honeymoon trip and the staff made it feel very special, the staff even went above and beyond by upgrading us to a nicer room for part of the trip. The hotel was very clean and quiet, the rooms decently sized and bed comfortable. The breakfast selection was adequate.

The hotel could be slightly closer to the main street with restaurants/bars (although it's not too far, about 10min by foot) and it's a bit of a shame the sun loungers are elevated from the sea (the sandy bit of the private beach is tiny). Having said that, it's nice to have breakfast overlooking the sea and have some privacy from the main beach in town

The property was beautiful! The staff were very kind and very accommodating. My partner is in crutches at the moment so we got a room close to the elevator. They ask provided a wheelchair for us because the property was large, this made our stay a lot more comfortable. The room so was so spacious, it was like we had and entire apartment. Mini fridge was stocked and cheap. Three giant pool options, and everything was so spaced out you didn’t dee crowed ever. The message service was also cheap. They say to book a day in advance but we just walked in and they were empty so they took a us right away, this have been the time we were there? I don’t know. But it was lovely, they were very considerate on how hard they were pushing you. Over all, the resort was lovely and had amazing food, but the staff gave a great atmosphere to it. Definitely recommend!

beach is not swimmable, it was a strong wave beach, too dangerous and it was not safe to walk around

Ayara is a great resort.I had the beach villas and they are lovely villas.Nothing flash but clean and comfortable and great location near the beach.3 pools,restaurant is very good food and good value.The staff are very nice and helpful. I’ve been going to Thailand for 26 years and Ayara has to be in my top 5 resorts I’ve stayed in.I would definitely stay in this resort again. All in a wonderful resort and nice and quiet It’s a WINNER 🏆

No complaints at all

Staff was so helpful, they prepared breakfast for us very early in the morning because we had to leave for an early tour. The sunset view was fantastic, especially with a nice cocktail on the beach. Rooms are very big and cleaned. The quality of the restaurant exceeded our expectations. Very much recommended!

Location is a bit far from the center of Khao Lak, but it is not major problem.

We booked a room that had direct access to the pool. It was a nice feature, which gave a feeling of being "up-market", without the cost of a five star hotel. The hotel operation was very slick and staff were extremely helpful.

I could probably have found some utterly trivial fault, if I was looking? Seeing as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nothing bothered us.

This was a great find. The breakfast was an extensive buffet. The private beach was nice with plenty of beds and umbrellas. I wish I had upgraded my room to a direct pool access. The rooms are large and the a/c works very well. The pools are very clean and refreshing. We rented scooters to get around, but the main area of town and the night market are a 15 minute walk away.

Perfect holiday spot for a family! Felt really family friendly but also intimate and personal. Great beach that feels really private, several pools (big and small), good food, really friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and so well designed.

It is a little way away from restaurants etc, but that's the only negative point, and not a reflection on the resort of couse. It's very easy to get to bars/restaurants etc and actually, you don't need to go out much if you're happy relaxing at the respoort.
