The bungalow we picked was overlooking a small beach which really ended up as our own private beach as no one else was near us. The staff were lovely. We liked how Poseidon Bungalows obviously has an environmental approach because of the way they have integrated their Bungalows into the surrounding environment.

After staying at 9 locations throughout sth Thailand island hopping we felt that the bungalow was a little "tired" and needed to have a bit of maintenance work done. The vanity didn't have any water coming out of it but we improvised by using the hose connected to the toilet. Also, as a builder I recognised that the toilet must have a partial blockage as it didn't work/clear properly when flushed. We stayed 3 nights and Admittedly, we only told them about these issues on leaving so cannot blame them for not rectifying these faults immediately but I feel they would or should have known about them before we arrived when cleaning the bungalow and getting it ready for guests. But overall I would stay there again due to its magical location, style and chillness that it exudes.

What a fabulous location! All the rooms are close to the sea with lovely outlooks. Private beach and easy access to the other beaches with restaurants etc. The sea could be a bit stingy, but a wonderful temperature and even had phosphorescence at night. Very cool! Tucked away in the jungle,, amonst nature, this place is truly special. Didn't try the food as there were lots of other options. But the cafe has a lovely view. Could fill up water, which minimizes use of plastic bottles. One of our huts was compact and the other spacious. The water pressure in the shower was variable, the fans effective. There were some big mosquitoes so come prepared and enjoy your time. I would definitely recommend and love to return!

We liked the lush tropical setting set just above the river leading to the ocean. We ate breakfast and some dinners at the place. Food was very good. We liked the easy walk to the beach and the warm water was wonderful. It was also nice to be able to walk the length of the beach which had other resorts. 1 1/2 miles to the end for a total of 3 miles. There are several other choices for meals at the various resorts and restaurants on the beach. We rented two basic bungalows and one stone cottage. The basic bungalows are just that. They are very dark with only one smallish window, so no cross breeze. There is a an available to use. I highly recommend the stone cottage and get one with air conditioning as it gets quite hot. They also have small refrigerators which the basic units do not. There was little space to hang clothes in the basic bungalow and no room to sit inside. The small balcony outside was just enough for two people. Very good value for the money.

Fantastic location, in the forest, above a beautiful creek outlet to the beach. Rocky and dramatic beach. Powerful nature. Family owned and operated, very nice and very helpful staff. Free unlimited drinking water. Nature is well preserved, and we felt like we were the only ones out there all the time. The beautiful little pool felt very private. Excellent for a family with children. Short walking distance to a stretch of beach with great small restaurants - great area to spend the day. In another direction - short distance to a little supermarket and some businesses. An effort is put into minimizing the effects on the environment. Nothing felt wasteful.

remember it’s surrounded by greenery so make sure you remember your bug spray, it’s not the hotels fault ❤️

Location was superb with stunning sea views from the balcony set in beautiful grounds and very secluded and private - absolutely couldn't fault it on that front and the staff were just wonderful. Short walk up the hill there is a great selection of beachfront bars and restaurants offering great massage on the beach at sunset and great cocktails!!!

Very tired bathroom, but for these prices at least everything worked. Not much point providing a kettle though if you're not providing any tea or coffee or sugar to go with it. Likewise no soap shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom.

The staff is very welcoming, kind and helpful. It’s such a peaceful place to stay, listening to the constant sound of the waves and thunderstorms while we were there. We had one of the waterfront bungalows and couldn’t have asked for more!

Nothing we didn’t like. Just have to be aware because of the location and season we came in (rainy season) everything gets damp.

The bungalows are located quite far from the main town of Khaolak, so it's very quiet and peaceful here. Things move at a slower pace, I could hear the waves crashing onto the beach every night when I went to sleep. I had a beach view right outside my window, and I could easily walk to the beach within 5mins. Free water refill was so important for me and I'm glad they provided that. I sprained my ankle one morning while walking out of my bungalow (uneven steps) and I asked the staff if they had fastum gel I could use to relieve the swelling, they didn't but they brought me on motorbike to 4 different shops to find something I could use. I didn't find the cream I needed but I appreciated their effort nonetheless!

While it was very quiet there, the location is also a bit far off from the main town, so if you want to shop, or look for a different restaurant to dine at, you'll need to pay 300baht just to get to khaolak or bang niang since the bungalows are quite far away from the main town area. The bungalows are also surrounded by trees and greenery (almost like a jungle) so every day I would find a new bug or fly in my room or bed. The room is clean in general, but I think it could always be cleaner in the little nooks and crannies where the bugs like to stay, or perhaps just more regular cleaning in the bungalows once every other day (for the guests staying more than 2 nights).

Totally idyllic! Simple hut overlooking the beach. Great restaurant onsite and some lovely beach bars within a few minutes walk. Did two tours organised by posesidon that were magical. Bathing elephants is a once in a lifetime experience and totally enjoyed the James Bond tour

Was warm at night and would possibly think about booking one of the air conditioning bungalows but then would lose out on the gorgeous view from the balcony. It was stunning
