Everything went well. There were so many things we like. For example; 1. All the staff were friendly and attentive. 2. Rooms come with Free Breakfast (order from a menu), and you can have this once a day from 6 am to 6 pm. So you can have your morning activities and come to breakfast at 12 noon or later. 3. Beach equipment are all free. 4. They provide bicycles which you can ride around the hotel's vicinity

This is the first time I fall in love with a hotel - after years of 5star hotel travelling. There are many reasons why the Sarojin plays in a different league from all the hotels I’ve been to, I’ll try to state some: The immense, beautiful gardens, with ponds full of lotus flowers and singing frogs. The supreme staff, which serve you and bow at you as if you are the president of the United States or the Pope in an official visit to Thailand :) The incredible a-la-carte breakfast, basically it feels like if you are in the best brunch place of your European city, with unlimited ordering of delicious food, without any schedule! So basically you can go for brunch at 5pm. The location, in front of the nicest beach of Kao Lak. The super spacious rooms with outdoor space and an extremely big and comfortable bed. We’ll surely try to come back at some point and stay longer. I think a trip to Thailand is worth it even just to stay at the Sarojin.
I would prefer to have a door separating the bathroom/ toilet, but that’s a personal preference. They even installed curtains to separate the bedroom from the bathroom when I requested it. This place is heaven

Everything! We liked it so much we even extended our stay with 2 nights. A hidden gem and an oasis in Khao lak. Service and team are top and breakfast ( amazing) is a la carte until 6pm ! You wake up to singing birds and other wildlife. There is a lot of personal touch to it and you feel like you are at a friend’s place ( which is their purpose). The eye for detail is excellent. A 5 star resort that doesn’t feel like a typical big resort but really a very nice gorgeous maintained friend’s place. We want to come back !
One small feedback point, we still LOVE the property and will come back. - You pay commission on credit card payment when settling the bill. ATM gives very bad exhange rate ( thb/eur 36 while spot is 39.5).

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked the pool room for the first four nights and then a garden terrace for the following four nights. We had requested a jacuzzi room but that was unavailable. The private pool was ok ( i didn’t really like the dark coloured tiles and it got dirty quite alot and was only cleaned the day before we checked out of that room which was disappointing. We enjoyed the restaurant the food is amazing! Not many options to go anywhere else (we got a taxi to local markets that had different restaurants) but the resort is very secluded. The beach was lovely but i assumed from the website the waterfall was accessible (it is only available for private bookings for dinner which was way too expensive for us - one dinner is €600) , we were then advised to consider the beach dinner which is a little bit more affordable but still pricey but everytime we went to book we were told it was unavailable so we didn’t get to experience it. The main pool is stunning and very clean we used that more than our private pool for that reason. The staff are very nice! Our room was lovely but we noticed the pool room appeared better maintained than the garden terrace room which wear and tear was more evident particularly in the shower stones area. Overall we did really enjoy our stay.
The spa is very expensive and in my personal opinion it worth the money. I was able to afford 10 massages in the local town area that equals the same price i paid for one massage at the resort and the pressure applied was very poor. I had to ask the therapist to focus on certain areas as i felt it was not beneficial to me at all. I wouldn’t recommend the spa for this reason. Overpriced and overrated. The spa package offered that’s very expensive includes a spa bath but it’s the same spa bath in the room so i would not waste money on this. Also the floor of the baths in the room is very rough which makes having a bath not very comfortable. A jacuzzi bath would be nicer!

Amazing setting, super luxurious, calm, allows real relaxation. Breakfast is simply wow, the best I’ve had in any hotel. Staff and service are impeccable, they’d do anything for your stay. Wouldn’t think of any other place in Khao Lak
Not at all affected the value and enjoyment of this stay, but only thing to improve in my opinion is the gym - it has only one bench with dumbbells, some cardio machines and one multi-purpose cable machine. Usually resorts of this scale has bigger fitness centers

We had an excellent stay. The hotel is in the most beautiful place surrounded by nature. The restaurants are phenomenal and serve great food. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. We loved familiarity. The beach is also very nice. Next to the hotel is a beach bar which serves cheap and delicious food and drinks. We especially love the sustainable approach the hotel has taken to protect nature. We would 100% recommend and come back!
A Spa (especially whirl pool) would be nice. The mattress of the bed was quite hard. They provided a topper but it was still not comfy for my back.

It’s hard to put into words what we experienced at The Sarojin—it was simply exceptional. Let’s start with the breakfast: absolutely delicious. Not only can you choose to have breakfast during the whole day, it is also of high quality. The direct beach access is another highlight. The beach is pristine and peaceful—perfect for relaxation. We stayed in a Pool Residence, which was fantastic. Whether we wanted to swim in our pool, relax in the Thai sala, or simply sit inside and admire the lush garden view, it was a perfect oasis of relaxation. The massages and excursions we booked were also of the highest quality. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the service was flawless. My fiancé enjoyed her 30th birthday at the Sarojin and they made it unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to the incredible team at The Sarojin. The level of hospitality and attentiveness was truly outstanding. Special thanks to the teams at the Ficus, bar, spa, and excursions—you all contributed to making our stay unforgettable. And a big thank you to the manager, Khun Kade, for your personal attention and for ensuring everything ran smoothly during our stay—it was truly appreciated. This was my first time in Thailand, and thanks to The Sarojin, it was an experience I will never forget.
It's hard to think of any downside to to this place... Be prepared to walk outside from point A to B. There is not a lot of cover around the Resort. Umbrellas are available in the rooms though for rainly season. There were one or two other very minor issues, but none worth mentioning as they didn't affect our overall experience

The Sarojin was the backdrop to the most special holiday for myself and my husband as we celebrated our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a step change from what we usually would expect in terms of service and attentiveness, but we were blown away by the care and passion of every member of staff we met. Kind, considerate, and keen to help, we felt so tended to in a way that was friendly and warm not stuffy and intense. The setting is so peaceful and quiet, it felt like I was living out a cliche when all my stress melted away. It is on the priciest side for Thailand, but we felt that every penny was well spent for the peace of mind and luxury you receive. We definitely be back for another round as soon as we can. It’s the sort of bliss you can’t write down, you have to be there to know it. And it’s very special!

Absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived until checkout, we felt truly cared for with exceptional, personalized service. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcome and creating such a memorable stay. We stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite, and it was an excellent choice—spacious, beautifully designed, with an open bathroom and a private Jacuzzi. The staff remembered that my wife and I enjoyed watching the sunset in the Jacuzzi, and each time we returned to our suite, it was thoughtfully prepared for us to relax and enjoy. The grounds of the property were immaculate—lush greenery, peaceful landscaping, and even glimpses of local wildlife, which added to the serenity of the environment. The highlight of our stay was the all-day breakfast. Not only was it delicious, but it was also wonderfully tranquil, allowing us to enjoy our meals in complete peace, away from crowds. Overall, the food was soulful and tasty. In summary, we highly recommend The Sarojin and would like to extend our sincere thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special.
As a young couple, these issues did not affect us significantly, but we wanted to mention that the jacuzzi lacks a handrail, which could be inconvenient or potentially unsafe for guests with limited mobility. Entering the jacuzzi sometimes felt a bit challenging and could benefit from some safety improvements. We have already shared this feedback with the owners via email, and they kindly responded that they will look into it. We appreciate their openness to feedback and hope these small adjustments can enhance the experience for future guests.

This is our second stay at The Sarojin and it was exceptional. Our suite was huge, quiet, cool and comfortable, with every amenity provided. We loved relaxing in the hot tub before settling down for the night. The all day breakfast was outstanding and the service from the entire team was warm, professional and authentic. The pool is beautiful and peaceful and there are so many activities to choose from, if you wish. There are lovely touches everywhere, just to make it feel even more special. The gym is small, but spotlessly clean and with enough equipment to keep you ticking over, and we took advantage of the bicycles and recommendations for running routes nearby. We’ll definitely be back as soon as we can!
Nothing. It’s honestly about as close to perfection as you can get.
