The Setup of the Ressort is very good, not too long ways. Everything is there in good quality. If you ve not booked full board - no worries there are 3 beach restaurants around. Staff is very friendly. Beach is too. Book it for a few days.

The Ressort is at least 20 years old, still Ok and clean, but you feel it. Beach Towels, Beach Benches are not in best condition. Watch out - End of March it is already very hot, so sea & pool & shower temperature are like outside temperature 🤒 . In comparison to other close Ressorts (Outrigger, Gran M.) I think it is a bit too expensive; it is not a real Robinson Ressort like in other countries.

The whole resort was amazing, exactly like you would expect from a 5 star resort. I can't begin to write positive points as everything was so amazing. What a paradise

2 downsides: - the resort is far from the village, so you cannot just leave the resort and walk there. So you will mainly eat/stay in the resort. The all inclusive prices (breakfast, lunch, dinner) are much more expensive than the rest of Thailand's restaurants and you cannot order a la carte, only buffet. - because you are in a tropical resort, and the rooms are outside, insects easily get in the room. I found a cockroach in my wardrobe and every night I woke up several times because my arms were itchy because of mosquito bites. And one more thing, not necessarily negative, but the rooms can use some renovation. It was a lovely room, spacious and with spa-feeling, but the furniture and construction was quite old.

Old but very clean property with (in our case) awesome bungalows. Very kind staff and attentive cleaning service. Delicious food. Various sport activities.

We've been traveling in Southeast Asia for a few weeks now, so we know quite well what it costs to have a wash done. 100-140 Bath in our case. Robinson would have charged 3000 Bath. That cannot be justified with better service. At dinners we found the desserts selection very restrictive. It was either all chocolate, or all cream cakes, all coconut… a bit more various selection in tastes would be preferable. The staff repeatedly mentioned that the club wasn’t fully booked, so we requested an extension on our last two days and were offered the regular rate. If there’s available capacity, I would expect a discount or, at least, not to be asked multiple times. In the end, Robinson preferred to leave the room empty rather than offer a discount.

Robinson Kao Lak is a wonderful place for your holidays, great location, very nice quiet beach, the food is excellent so is the staff who are doing their best to satisfy the needs of guests from all over the world great activity program including high quality yoga classes right on the beach on a open air platform after an early evening swim in the ocean I enjoyed the beautiful Sauna area which gives an impression of a bath in the rain forest I hope to be back soon ;) thank you all for a great holiday !

We have been completely spoilt by this holiday - the food the facilities the activities have all been first class, I don't think it will be possible to have a better experience than what we have just had. Particular highlights were the golf driving range, the daily Thai boxing classes, and the fitness activities run by Vanessa and her team, including the guest coach Christian who was excellent. The food was just sensational, and you really get the feeling the Head Chef and his team take great pride in serving up delicious food at all meal times. One day we even had Filet Steak with Lobster.

Any criticisms would be extremely minor, but I have to say the bacon at breakfast was not very good, and the weather was sometimes very rainy, but being the rain season that was to be expected. The hotel has so many activities it really didn't matter if we had a few day's of rain

Robinsons has every thing you need to enjoy a true get away. The beach is like a post card, the staff are friendly, the activities are varied- we particularly enjoyed the Yoga and Pilates. While we were there a special trainer was in residence- Nadia and it was extremely informative and physically engaging to learn more whilst also exercising. Robinsons are a chain of resorts across the world run by a German company- most classes are conducted bilingual. A resort specific app lets you book classes and let you know what special events are happening through the day and into the evening. We stayed in a pool villa which was perfect and chose the fully inclusive dining package- there was so much amazing food to choose from and wine and beer available with lunch and dinner.

We visited for the first time about 7 years ago and it hasn’t changed- so some parts could do with a refresh

The facilities, including the room, were very good. The food was also very good (we opted for half board). The beach is fantastic—secluded and not overly crowded. The staff were outstanding, especially Ms. Robin May at the reception, who demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.

No dislikes. Just some tips: - This is a holiday village (club-style) rather than a traditional hotel. If you prefer peace and quiet, avoid booking rooms near the main activity areas. Ask the reception for recommendations—there’s a suitable spot for everyone. - Be cautious of jellyfish when a purple flag is raised at the beach. They often linger in shallow waters and can sting. The beach staff are helpful—they’ll apply vinegar to the sting if needed. While not dangerous, some people may experience itching for the rest of the day. Note: This is common at beaches across the country, not just this resort.

Beds themselves were comfortable and the room was very large with 2 spacious balconies. Lots of privacy even with the boys sleeping in the lounge. They put 2 comfortable beds in the lounge for the boys and there was still a large couch and dining table. Extremely spacious and perfect for a family of 4. Lots of cupboard space, huge bathroom with seperate dressing area.Seperate toilet and washbasin.Beach was beautiful and the pools were magnificent. Welcome drinks and scented cloths with biscuits were brilliant. They were very accommodating about checking out later, kept baggage and gave wifi until our transfer arrived. The evening entertainment was superb and lots of fun every night. The variety at mealtimes was excellent. Lots for the children to do and kids club was great for 9 and 10 year olds. The kids club staff were fantastic and went the extra mile with handwritten notes and thai tea/chocolate milk on checkout. Beach towels were plentiful. Some great little beach bars along the beach as well. Highly recommended, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really loved this resort. These are tiny things that could improve it even more.Kitchenette did not have plates, utensils, bottle opener etc although it had lots of space and a microwave. Pillows were a bit hard, but that's personal preference. Full board only allowed drinks over mealtimes: beer and wine. We were aware of this beforehand, but it would be an improvement to offer an all-inclusive option with cocktails etc over all times as its far from a convenience store or lots of external restaurants. This resort is so large and fabulous that it's better to really make use of all the facilities and evening entertainment. 😀

We had a great holiday. The beach and overall setting is stunning. The food was exceptional. We particularly liked the adults only relax pool, and sunbeds were easily available. You could find a sunbed at the pool or beach any time of the day. The local staff were so friendly and accommodating.

Some areas of the hotel, but particularly the rooms, are in need of refurbishment. For example, in our room the window glass was blown and there were a lot of chipped tiles and old furniture. We had expected better quality equipment at the sports facilities and we thought the Robinson reps could have made more of an effort to be friendly with the guests.

This place is simply brilliant. It was the absolute highlight of the trip, and I will strongly consider returning here in the future. Everything was great and I felt like everything was taken care of, which allowed me to truly relax and enjoy my holiday. A few highlights: - Breakfast is fantastic - The pool is massive and was always a perfect temperature - The beach area is beautiful - Room service was quick and tasty - The front desk was very helpful (and spoke excellent English) - The bed was comfortable - There are decent activities and entertainment available (we played tennis and soccer) - Happy hour went for 4 hours and all drinks were 50% off during that time FYI, there is an amazing restaurant on the beach, about 5 minutes from the resort, called KruaThai. I would highly recommend it!
