Excellent location, clean rooms and lovely pool area. Breakfast was great - changed a little each day and suited Thai or Western tastes. Act, the manager, maitre d’, receptionist and organiser of anything you wanted to do, was a whirlwind around the place. She was fantastic and so were her staff! Amazing lady and a cracking little place to stay. Would recommend highly.

Nothing - all superb

This is perhaps the first accommodation that deserves a 10/10 from me. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, they were helpful in everything. The rooms are smaller but completely comfortable. They refilled our water, Coke, snacks and coffee every day. The resort is located a few meters from the water, a small inconvenience is that you have to cross the main road. The breakfast is rich, you choose from the cold kitchen and they also make you a la carte food. The accommodation has a swimming pool, which we did not use, since we were still by the sea. As accommodation, we had the opportunity to rent a paddleboard, kayak for free. There are inflatables by the pool that you can take to the sea. Beach towels are available every day. We also experienced a great New Year's celebration. Green Bay Samed Resort, you were amazing and we want to come back here

I personally didn't mind it, but since the resort is next to the road, which is on a hill, there is increased noise and you can smell exhaust fumes. There is a nightclub next door where music is playing. I'm used to noise and it doesn't bother me to sleep with it, but it might bother some people.

Breakfast excellent, staff outstanding, location to beach perfect, we ate at the hotel 3 times in the evening, on each occasion , the food was freshly prepared , the shrimps and king prawns were exceptional. It is a small hotel but the way it is set out, you get to meet the other guests , which made the stay more enjoyable.

My only comment is , the location is fabulous but there is a little downside as due to its fab location, during the day, there is a lot of passing traffic , if you enjoy people watching , it won’t be a problem and if you are on the beach, it’s not a problem.

Loved everthing about hear... has many steps so you need to be able ... everything was super clean and organised.... made my birthday really special.... wonderful staff we stayed 8 days and really sad to leave 😢 Canoes and paddle boards where free and easy to access

The steps to the pool can be very hot when the sun is on them ... I found the pool a little challenging to get in and out .....though I have a little mobility issue ......

Fantastic service from staff, so informative and attentive. Lots of thoughtful touches at the property like pool and beach toys free to use for kids, kayaks and bikes for use too. Breakfast had a good variety. Great location for Sao Kiew beach and Ao Pai beach.

Breakfast could be open a bit earlier, even if it’s just the buffet options open earlier.

A fabulous small hotel, just over the road from fabulous white sandy beach. The receptionist and staff were excellent and the talk about hotel, facilities and the Island was very informative and welcome. The breakfast, prepared to order was great and very filling, with top-ups on juice and coffee. There were push bikes, paddle boards, kanoes and inflatable toys available free of charge, as were towels and mats for the beach. A nice touch were the flip-flops in your room for use on the beach. This is not a 5* luxury hotel, but a charming little hotel that was perfect for our stay.

To be fair, I can not think of anything that would have enhanced our stay. Perhaps the rooms closer to the road may be a bit noisy for some, but we were a couple of rooms back and very happy.

Great customer service, made everything (booking island hopping tours, getting around) so easy! Clean rooms. Perfect location steps away from beach, market and so many restaurants. Free breakfast with a latte machine!

Only con is the lights in hallway at night are super bright and will shine right into certain rooms. I would turn them off once it got late and it was perfect.

This is a great place to stay with a baby or chidren. Every single person who works at this resort was so incredibly sweet with our baby and made sure we had everything we needed. They have a lot of toys for different ages, a nice swimming pool and enough spots in the shadow. Our room was cleaned daily, and the staff thoughtfully accommodated our baby's nap times. The breakfast had plenty of options, including Thai and Western options.

The staff were brilliant and the owner/manager had brilliant attention to detail, lots of nice touches. Breakfast was perfect, bed and pillows were perfect too. Location was also excellent and the best place to stay on the Island in our opinion. ( yes, we saw it all!).

There was nothing about where we stayed we did not like. The Island itself is a little pricy, and everyone fixes there prices the same!!
