Excellent location for your home base in Bangkok. Just outside of the core enough to get a break from the constant hum (noise) of the center, but close enough to easily get to. You're on a main road so there are all types of shops and services, from laundry mat to pharmaciies with places to eat and street food as well. There are a couple of great coffee shops all nearby with one just down the road from a well stocked 7-eleven. Everything is within a five minute walk in either direction from Homies. Speaking of which, this has been a great place to stay. If you're looking for fancy, you probably need to go to a hotel. If you're looking for a pad to live in, you can't go wrong here. It's clean, well maintained, small rooms but comfortable. It's got everything you need right in the room and there's also a laundry room on the fourth floor roof top patio. The dryer is quite a bit more costly than the one down the road but in all fairness it's a huge machine and how convenient it is. The room had lots of hot water and pressure for showers and I slept great on the mattress and never woke up sore or kinked in any way. The AC works like a charm. Wifi signal is strong anywhere in the building, not the fastest but solid and never failed me. The windows seem fairly new and do a great job to softening the sound of traffic going by. Windows open fully if you need to reach out and feel the humid air. Can't say enough about the staff. Everyone was kind and helpful and responsive to my needs. The owner owns a Thai cooking school across the street which my friends and I attended. Wow best Thai food I ever had, fresh fresh fresh ingredients and the instructor was so sweet and passionate about teaching. I think it's a must do experience. What can I say, I really enjoyed my stay and will go back to Homies on my next visit to Bangkok.

There's no life so you have to carry your language to the 4th floor if your room is there. Also they didn't even provide water to drink.

This HOTEL is very clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The owner of the place is very proactive in trying to help the guests. It is the perfect hotel for traveling in the beautiful city of Bangkok. I recommend it.

The room was clean and spacious enough, good location since it’s at 5 minutes walking from the blue metro line. The staff was kind and helpful.
