Lovely modern room, situated above a restaurant, we were the third floor so noise wasn’t a problem. I recommend the deluxe king room for the extra money it really was worth it.

Staff not very friendly, upon check out you don’t speak with anyone you just put keys into a bucket. I wanted to say thank you for a nice stay and that we are checking out, but was almost shooed off by the restaurant staff. A lot of stairs up to the room due to it being the 3rd floor.

Stayed in the Korat suite and it was absolutely magical. Almost like a penthouse apartment for very little money. I especially loved the decor, huge windows, dimmers and the rain shower in the bathroom. I got two free water bottles every day as well which was hugely appreciated. Lastly it was close to the subway and to Lumphini Park which I adore.

While clean, the walls have some superificial cracks and the tv-island/spinny thing had to be locked in place by using a chair or something to keep it from turning back. Some nights it was pretty loud from the bar downstairs.

I really enjoyed my stay at Maderla. The room was very comfortable, spacious, and nicely decorated. I liked that they are named after Thai towns. Air conditioning worked a treat. Water outside the door everyday, and a nice restaurant downstairs for tasty meals.

Restaurant is a bit noisy in the evenings, as is the road. Little bit impersonal - no reception as such, check in was with the restaurant staff.

Very clean and great location, super quiet but at the same time lively. Location is good, away from the big tourists areas and still there are good places to eat and for commodities. Price is good ! They also give you bottles of water at your front door every morning, super nice gesture :)

The restaurant charges you way too much for coffee and orange juice (that’s all we had) compared to other places in town.

Maderla is a nice guest house at the top of a restaurant. The room was on the second floor, and I personally found it quiet considering the big trouble that is Bangkok. The room has a good space, it offered a comfy bed, nice bathroom with great shower. Also the room has a small wardrobe, a table, kettle, and some coffee for the next day, they also offered us water for the day. I personally have nothing to complaint, the room is pretty decent for the price. Returning to Bangkok to solve some paper work I would stay there again.

I didn't love the decoration. Green with red is not really nice in my opinion, but it didn't affect the stay at all.

I didn't know that this area was traditionally the backpackers haven of Bangkok. Of course, everyone heads to Khao San Road these days. Nice location, just off Lumphini park a short walk from the Lumphini MRT Station. I wanted a simple room and shower. The room was larger than expected, the shower was good and I wouldn't have minded staying a few more days. Their restaurant is downstairs but I don't notice any noise at all. The room came with a safe, very important. Water pressure was strong.

Room was quite bigger than a normal hotel room. It's an L shaped room, for I supposed the air conditioning struggled. But they provided a fan in the room (maybe that's the reason....) so everyone is happy.

We had a great stay at Maderla. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff was incredibly helpful and responded quickly to anything we needed. The price was amazing for the quality of service we received. The on-site restaurant was cheap, friendly, and had a nice selection. Plus, bikes were conveniently available right in front of the hotel for transport. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This was my favourite room in a 40-day journey! It just had everything you needed, in the right place: there were enough plugs, where I needed them, space to arrange clothes and dr towels, kettle, etc. The toilet and shower were in a different room, which I really liked. The water was refilled every day. The restaurant at the bottom had very nice food at a reasonable price, but endless options were available within walking distance or 10 minutes on a motorbike. There are a number of self-service laundry places in the area too. I only tried the "blue" room, but I know they are all decorated different, looking forward to tríing the others on my next trips!

It was the perfect room. So spacious and pretty. The showers were great as well as all the facilities. I had surgery so it was really ideal for me. You can have it cleaned when you like and they provide new water bottles everyday. And in a great neighborhood. I would absolutely book again!
