They did not disappoint me with a walk in shower for my elderly father, and the bathroom was spacious. the spread and the taste of the international weekend buffet was very good. Hotel staff from reception, concierge to restaurant staff are ALWAYS very patient, pleasant and serving with a SMILE!

No near enough mall for elderly people to leisurely walk to. However, 7 eleven is just next to the hotel with lots to enjoy. if walking is no issue, a great mall with Foodland, lots of eateries, nice and inexpensive fashion is just a 500m stroll away along the main motorway. MRT is also not too far to walk to, Huai Khwang station. No iron and ironing board in the room.

My first visit to this hotel was about 15 years ago, second visit was about 9 years ago. This time round was my parents-in-laws first bangkok trip and so we decided to stay in this hotel again. Fantastic service, front desk staff spoke decent English so there's no issues with communication for us. Our request was for twin bed for 2 rooms and double bed for 1 room and it was promptly arranged. They even gave us connecting room which was super helpful and convenient for us with a teenage child. Love that they have a smoking room in the lobby so you do not have to stand outside the hotel in the hot sun for a smoke. They have seperate restaurant for tour groups so you dont have to squeeze and endure the noisy crowd early in the morning when you have breakfast and this is a brilliant arrangement. The room is spacious and clean despite being an old hotel. The aircon works well for the hot weather. And the fridge is cold too. Housekeeping left a note when our do not disturb sign was on to let us know we can call them if we need their service. Great that they do provide extra pillows when requested as i personally need alot of pillows to sleep. The pillows were of different material though, there were some softer and some really hard. The toilet is huge which i loved even though there isnt any bathtub. The night view from our room was gorgeous. You can order room service through scanning a qr code which was really convenient and can prevent miscommunication due to language issues. Breakfast buffet has a good variety and delicious food. We gave their buffet dinner a try and was really impressed with the quality of food too. Location of the hotel is great given that it is off the main road so there's no traffic noise. There's a 711 right across the street and several massage shops few mins walk away. The Street Ratchada and a Big C is just 10mins walk away. It was easy for us to get a grab for transportation.

The water pressure needs ro be improved. The temperature was either too hot or too cold and the water pressure for hand-held shower was really low.

The staff are so polite and helpful, the food was top notch especially the seafood and meat buffet dinner with the restaurant staff very helpful. Rooms big and spacious. MRT very close to move about.

Nothing to say

The room was big and there is a pool. It is a conventional chain hotel.

It is a bit far from the main tourist center. The interiors are a bit old and the staff seems to be in an angry mood. Also, the control panel for the lights should be better located.

The breakfast was reasonable good with the room rate I paid. The location is good enough where it is accessible to the places I want to go by train and taxi. It is good also near to convenience store.

The power sockets should be upgraded for multi adaptable plugs, Gym room should be renovated

Old, unique hotel design that is well maintained, this includes the lift.

They didn't update the room service menu. We wanted to order but they said the kitchen was closed, even though the menu said they were open. They closed the breakfast buffet too fast, we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would like.

It's near a train station

There's no bidet, there's a bit of smell at the hallway, the toilets not well maintained and the locations far very hard to get taxi or bolt services.

Quite convenient.. 7-11 by the side, MRT by walking distance, Big C and Shopping Mall (The Street), massage, restaurants all by walking distance.. Friendly workers.. Will come again and stay if got the chance..

The maintenance of the buildingg is not very fully, maybe due to Covid just recovered, and less people travelling.. But overall still okay.. Vintage style

Have stayed at the Emerald a number of times. Location is good, staff are great and very welcoming. Restaurant area and food quality in the hotel is also good

Can't fault the Hotel. The building is old and has a charm I wouldn't change by undertaking refurbishment
