The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The location is amazing, it’s about 10mins drive from the center of Chaweng. It’s up a very very steep hill (there is a free shuttle down the hill whenever you want). The views are incredible! We stayed in lodge 2 and it was stunning. Spotlessly clean on arrival and was cleaned every day. Infinity pool is fabulous.. lots of sun beds around too. Food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was excellent. Again the view from the restaurant is amazing. Would highly recommend staying here!

Most amazing view that we had on Koh Samui! Most comfortable bed that we had in all of our hotels in Thailand! Most amazing opening hours for the pool (until 10pm... this is fabulous!) Staff was very helpful, breakfast was amazing free refill of juice and coffee and very very friendly staff in restaurant. Staff at reception was very friendly and helped us with Transports, Laundry and everything we needed. You can refill water for free at reception, Minibar prices are good. Of course since there is a lot of "Jungle" near the JungleClub you should bring some Mosquito repellent ;-). Also it was offered freely at Dining in the restaurant which is a great idea. To mention is also you have free transport down the hill where it is then easy to get a grab etc. and also most drivers will drive you up the hill anyways... We are really thankful for the amazing services and friendly people that work there!

In general nothing. And to be fair what is written below is kind of very picky - Even if it also counts for hotel guests i'd give a 9,9/10. - The restaurant if you are not eating there for breakfats but for dinner is a bit high-classy and also high-pricy and to be fair food is really good. Cocktails also good. I am not sure tbh if this goes also for hotel guests but there are signs that you have to spend a minimum of 500 Baht per person if you want to go there. For outsiders this seems to me as a smart decision but for hotel guests this should definetly not be the rule in my opinion. We didnt ask if this is applied also for hotel guests so maybe @Jungle club you could comment this to make it clear if it applies only to outsiders or also for guests ;-)

If you want a sterile, gray, new, overpriced, I could be anywhere in the world kind of hotel, don't stay here. If you want a boutique spacious bungalow with breathtaking views of the ocean from a brilliant restaurant that is perched high on the hill, this could be your romantic heaven. Everything is very competitively priced and the food and service from the restaurant is exceptional.

There is nothing to dislike about the Jungle Club. Just be prepared for a steep drive up the hill as this heaven on earth is perched high about the beach but has a spacious garden to explore and a shuttle bus to the main road below.

This was a luxury 2 day booking for us on our 2 week holiday. We stayed in the Thai Villa which had a living room, kitchen, outside seating area etc. the villa was huge, designed in traditional Thai style. Breakfast was fantastic from the A la carte menu. Set in the most stunning location in views over the tree tops and across to the sea. Beautiful infinity pool. Staff exceptionally good. Food in restaurant exceptional. Very busy as this is a Destination restaurant due to the views and Tik Tok! Free transport down and up the very steep hill down to the main road below. Just across from the beach.

There was nothing really to dislike. The only thing was particular to this villa. Although a villa with 4 rooms, it was only the bedroom which had an enclosed ceiling. Really important at night when trying to avoid getting bitten by bugs. Bed also had a mosquito net around it. The other rooms had a thatched roof, with gaps. Which meant that even when sat indoors in the living area, it was not ‘bug proof’ and just as likely to get bitten indoors as outside.

*** Outstanding location *** we stayed 5 nights in one of the two lodge rooms, which provide a spectacular view on the ocean below. We found the room exactly as the pictures on booking.com indicates. Everything is well maintained. The resort reduced plastic waste by providing free drinking Water in glass bottles, which guest may refill free of charge. To reduce food waste breakfast is offered as a-la-carte-menu, which turned out to be nicely flexible. The road up to to the hillside resort is extremely steep. If you plan to rent an own car - as I did - you might consider to rent a 4x4 or at least not the smallest sedan. You definitely should have at least basic experience on non-western mountain-roads. Consider to use the free shuttle service from the lower slopes, the resort provides. The entire resort is very well mantained. The club is a popular viewpoint bar and restaurant, which results in a constant flow of guests to and from the restaurant, which might disturb some hotel guests. To the small infinity-pool however is exclusively reserved for the guests staying overnight. During our stay none of the numerous restaurant guests violated this regulation and entered the clearly separated pool area. The quality of food & drinks is good which applies both the Western dishes as well as to the thai menus offered. Food and drinks are still reasonable priced considering the outstanding view. Restaurant staff is very helpful, i.e. offered assistance on unexpected spicy dishes. The communication with the front office staff is established by whatsapp which makes requests handy and easy.

The restaurant charges on coffee-varities such as expresso or cappuccino for breakfast. Additional training of englisch language of the restaurant staff is advised.

I had a fantastic stay at The Jungle Club. The highlight for me was definitely the room — beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The space felt open, thoughtful, and serene. The views from both the pool and the restaurant are absolutely breathtaking — some of the best I've seen anywhere. Waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. The restaurant exceeded expectations as well. Every meal I had there was excellent, and the breakfast was equally impressive — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, The Jungle Club offers a unique and memorable experience. I’d absolutely return.

The only downside was a minor issue with the booking. Although I had clearly noted we were a couple traveling with a child, I was initially asked to pay extra for my child, which led to a bit of back and forth. It was eventually sorted, but it added some unnecessary friction to an otherwise smooth experience.

Absolutely everything. I'm unable to find any fault with the jungle club. Most people come for the restaurant and the view. I highly recommend staying here. The rooms are outstanding. We had a suit with a plunge pool. Beautiful breakfast. The view from the pool is breath taking amd is only used by staying guests, not restaurant guests.. the owners have 4 dogs who are so friendly but don't come near unless you call them over. So peaceful, an absolute hidden gem . The shuttle.service up and down the hill is great, and it's very easy to grab a tuc tuc at the bottom, so the fact it's up in the jungle is not a problem.

There aren’t sufficient superlatives to describe this hotel experience. I have just returned from a 3-week trip round Thailand and Cambodia, and this hotel was by far the best. The stunning views, exceptionally beautiful infinity pool (which you could have to yourself as I did on multiple occasions), well designed attractive ‘house’, friendly and super helpful staff, delicious restaurant food - JC has it all - at a reasonable cost too. Yes, it’s a little out of the way, but that was MORE than made up for by all the aforementioned. Stay at least 2 nights , or stay longer if you want peace and relaxation and don’t mind paying a bit more for meals than you can find elsewhere on the island. Have the hotel arrange day excursions for you if you want to see more (I can recommend the land tour via 4x4). Wonderful to get away from the traffic /fume clogged main island roads. Honestly, the first day my daughter and I spent at JC was one of the happiest of my life.

Booked overnight for me and my partner and made a dinner reservation when checking in, and got the best spot for enjoying dinner. Set an alarm and wake up early and see the sunrise, unbeatable view and nothing like it, photos don't do it justice. As a guest you get a free ferry up and down as well as breakfast included so you get to enjoy the facilities while it's quiet. Staff are lovely, a super pretty infinity pool, family of chickens wandering around

Keep in mind these are bungalows and you're on top of the mountain so no aircon (there's fans) and there are bugs around (bring your repellant)

Everything about this place is a dream come true. The location, perched on a hill with an eagle eye view to the northern part of Samui, horizon for days, plane spotting while chilling in the pool. One of the most beautiful sunrises I've seen, and cute animals wandering the grounds just after dawn. The small but lovely infinity pool where you have dragonflies and butterflies play and fly over your head. The bungalows are new, tasteful, fully equipped, and beautifully ambient. Given it's indeed a "jungle" club, some bug will inevitably fly in, but there's a mosquito net for that. Last but not least, the restaurant is impeccable in terms of view, food, and treatment (especially as a hotel guest, you never have to wait for a table). The staff is beyond lovely and helpful. It's an excellent place to relax and feel taken care of. Truly a hidden gem and I'll come back in a heartbeat!

The blackout curtains could be a bit thicker to accommodate for the non-morning-birds. Given the route and grounds, it may not be the most accessible place for mobility impaired guests.
