The hotel is located on an excellent beach. The breakfast is excellent and most of the staff are very friendly and attentive. For the younger children, they make pancakes in the shape of monkeys, Mickeys, cats and rabbits, which made my daughters very happy. Regarding the pools, the hotel has 2 but we only used the pool next to the beach, which, although beautiful for photos, is dangerous due to its covering. It would be best to go in with sea shoes because they hurt your feet a lot. This hotel has a lot of potential to be an excellent hotel, but the services and infrastructure need to be improved.

The rooms are spacious but the furniture is old. The air conditioning in the room is very noisy. The service is not as excellent as you would expect from the Sheraton brand. The kids club, despite having a huge space and great potential for doing wonderful things, is abandoned and everything is closed and broken. The photos are very misleading!

First things first - the staff at Sheraton Samui were absolutely wonderful. From the reception team to the parking gate crew, cleaning staff, and restaurant wait staff, every person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and full of smiles. They were always happy to chat, remembered our room number and even what we liked to eat - such thoughtful, personal service made our stay feel special and easy. The buffet breakfast was exceptional: a generous spread with something for everyone, no matter where you’re from. I loved that I could try something different every morning.

The property does feel quite outdated. Some areas of the interior could definitely use a refresh, and the overall atmosphere didn’t quite align with what you’d expect from a five-star resort - it felt more like a strong three or four-star experience.

very good selection of food for breakfast. lost of vegetables, fruits, asia food. food at beach bar and restaurant also amasing and not expensive. At pool bar always nice happy hours 2 drinks for just 7 euro. set of seafood for 2 person just for 15 euro and very high quality. Amazing territory of hotel , super green jungles. beach is very calm, clean, not much people exactly as wanted for nice holiday. everything was so good that was no reason to go out. always enough water and coffee in room. Nice terrasses in rooms, incredible sea view. real paradise.

rooms a bit old although not completely done. Music in the bar... OMG ! set of songs for 1 hours running all days on circle. After 10 days vacation you will be king of karooke "love me like you do, love love like me do, what are you waiting for... " . I asked to change music. But another set of songs was so "depressive lounge that i felt I am in prison" that I asked to back first set.

The private beach

The receptionist had mistaken and charge of room rate about triple time 150,000 baht (seem they try to cheat us because we stay there 2 night but they didn’t inform us suddenly, they inform us when we check out and just say sorry only). For cancelled process need to lock our money for 15 days. How come for 5 star hotel? Another thing that my italian husband has take a walk and falling down in waterspout in front of hotel during walk back from dinner and he got hurt and get some wound because in front of hotel near the main road is too dark, I was really upset for all the thing that happened.

Should specify the different rooms clearly and not interchange the words “sea facing” with “sea view” as few rooms are located quite far from ocean

They pick you up From the room by golfcar, because the hotel is quite big, but still to Walk From the beachview rooms to the reception its a 4 Minute walk. The hotel is very Green with some waterfalls on the way to the reception. The Beach is really nice with chrystal clear water and Good for swimming. The breakfast was the best we had in 7 weeks southeastasia. They have enough sunchairs for everybody directly on the beach. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The Food and the Drinks in the hotel are overprized but its a 5 Star Hotel. Outside you can find some Restaurants, but Unfortunately More Western than thai Food. The rooms were very nice, much space, balcony with ociean view was really nice, very clean and stylish. We would come back!

Stayed at this amazing hotel for 3 nights! 😍 The staff were incredibly nice and always smiling, they really took great care of us. The hotel is placed good 👍 but needs renovation 🛠️ to make the hotel luxury 🏰 once it was.

The staff, the food, the drinks, the services, the massage - everything was great. Also, the location is very good.

The noise from the air conditioning was disturbing during sleeping hours (maybe other rooms didn't had this problem).

The facility is very old. The air conditioner is very very loud, it s so loud that we had to switch it off and on through the night. The restaurant is quite expensive. On the last day, we have been given 2 options: either late checkout by 1 hour or a shower room later in the day for an hour; not both. Considering the hotel was at least half empty, 1 hour late checkout isnt an appropriate extension not to mention we cant have the shower room if we prefered the late checkout. In all of the 5 star hotels I have stayed, they are both available to each customer.

Breakfast good, beach great, pool good. The beach was the standout for me. Calm, relaxing and a short walk to a decent snorkelling spot. The hotel is a not a new flash high end place but it's clean, comfortable and good location. Had the amenities you need for a enjoyable stay.

Not much to dislike, to be really critical it is getting older for the price you pay but everything we tried works and clean. There was a really bad smell on occasion, not sure if it was ground water or sewerage. The forest/jungle can get very loud with insect / frog noise(dawn and as the sun is going down) but that's out of the establishments control and part of the experience.
