Bungalow review So under rated for the price. Right in the beach, even if in a pool bungalow it’s a 2 min walk to the beach. Lots of lounges and shade under the trees Beach and gardens kept in such pristine conditions The beach is really chaweng Noi and it’s Devine Bungalows are basic but clean and have everything you need. Not many mosquitos since there is a little inlet behind them all

Restaurant and breakie were just ok, a little bit repetitive after two weeks. No happy hour in the evenings and as cocktails were almost double that out in the street. Pool was a little hard to get out of, the ladder is high and the metal get super hot at the tops. Smoking! Horrible to go to breakfast and to be seated next to a smoker who lights up after they have finished but we haven’t. Would be better to have a smoking and non smoking sections outside! All very small complaints

The location was perfect with not overly busy beach and good access to restaurants and market with a short ride on scooter. We had the best beach bungalow location . The staff was very nice. The sea and beach is the best on the island. It was comfortable to be close to the bar and have food and drinks at our bungalow. Beach chairs were plenty with plenty of shade. Room was clean and the property was gorgeous and well maintained. The beach being private was not crowded at all and the rocky side of beach was great for snorkeling and very safe for children,

Although not so huge issues, the beds were quite hard. After requesting we got soft mattress toppers which helped. The restaurant could be better with a little better variety of food. Breakfast was the same so got boring in a few days. The bar on beach was opening quite late and closing quite early. we would have liked some late evening drinks and snacks on the beach with some music to keep it lively.

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Our bungalow was exactly what we needed and the beach was perfect in every way.

We went for breakfast at 9.30 on our first day and there was no hot food left.

Location, cleanliness, attentive staff

The pool is deep and big, so perfect to swim, you can find easily place to do laps without people disturbing you. The villa near the pool are the best place on the project, quiet near everything. First Bungalow is located in a dead end street near a lot of good restaurant by foot and if you want to swim in the sea, the beach is nice and there's a lot of chair. Same thing about the chairs around the pool, yoy have always some available. The employees at the reception are very helpful and the room maid are very efficient. We experienced Bangrak Beach but we preferre Chaweng Beach, it's easier to walk on the sidewalk, the restaurant are better and more variety of food.

For breakfast, there's a lot of variety of food but all the hot food are cold, you have to take the ham or bacon and ask at the omelet station to heat it. The omelet station is nice you can have also you egg done. There's no decafinated coffee, no substitut sugar and no lactose free milk so you have to buy it in a grocery store and bring it, they will give you hot water. Also, you have to be very patient for a toast (you have to pass it 5 times) because the toaster don't grill enough.

Amazing private beach location. Warm shallow waters.white sand and palm trees. Lots of free sun loungers. Staff so friendly and helpful. Just outside of tourist strip,thank goodness. Full of dubious massage parlours. Best best massage is just on entrance to resort.Huge clean pool. Beds super huge and comfy. Spotlessly cleaned daily. Bfast ok. Restaurant closed at 7pm but lots nearby .treat yourself to beach bungalow. It's worth it for amazing sea views and an adequate terrace. Definitely recommend.

No on resort food after 7pm. Nothing else it's Fab. Too many love massage places near by. Don't hassle families but the two men in family hated attention when alone.

Great location at a quiet end of Chaweng, which was welcome after the overwhelming busy main stretch. Nice clean beach (clear waters for snorkelling) with sunbeds and parasols, no traffic noise day or night. Great selections of foods and fruits and breakfast, buffet-style so you can go back for more if needed. Water bottles replaced in rooms every day, laundry place and ATM on the street in front of the entrance. Fantastic value.

The only thing that I would have liked is more shade around the pool. There were some umbrellas but a lot had been put down with no base we could find. There were also a lot of empty sunbeds with just towels on.

This is our second time staying at First Bungalow Beach Resort and we absolutely loved the beach bungalow. Being beachfront and enjoying the sunshine and ocean is divine. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed was sooo comfortable and room service food was yummy. We love staying here and will be back again for sure.

The bathroom could do with an update, the beach towels need replacing and the deck chairs need a scrub but you barely notice these things when staying somewhere so beautiful.

Our bungalow was ON the beach. We went to sleep each night and awoke each morning to the view of the beach and sound of the waves which is absolute HEAVEN!! Our bungalow was also steps from the beach bar where we could get drinks and eat lunch and dinner if we chose, which we did a few days/nights. Not only was this ultra convenient, but the food was delicious! I will dream about this place until I return!!

Had an issue one day regarding a beach umbrella. Although neighboring resorts had umbrellas set up and opened, staff member told us it was too windy. Had to battle a bit to get the umbrella put up, but bartender at the beach bar was on our side and advocated for us (and other guests). Love a happy ending!

On the beach, and great pool area with plenty of sun lounges. We had two deluxe rooms (late teenage kids) and had rooms overlooking the pool. Location is great as not right in the middle of Chaweng but close enough to walk or short drive. Mini mart, scooter hire, laundry and a couple of good cafes (B4 Beach) 2 minutes walk. Very clean and breakfast adequate, good value for money.

First impressions are furniture and rooms are in need of an update and exterior could do with a paint to freshen things up.
