Authentic family-run guesthouse in a beautiful spot at the quieter end of Chaweng beach. We loved the way the owners took such care of the beach each morning, which was pristine. Trees providing natural shade added to the charm. Sun-loungers were comfortable, and the shallow waters and soft sand underfoot were ideal for keeping the children (and adult!) happy for hours.

On arrival we were a bit surprised that the room decor had probably not been updated in decades and the bathrooms were very basic. However the bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and we quickly got used to the authentic surroundings. There isn’t much English spoken amongst staff so we failed at trying to slightly customise breakfast options, but we enjoyed options like the freshly squeezed orange juice.

A great little hotel, had a wonderful stay. Managed by a very nice and very good family. They have two cute little dogs on the premises! The beach access is amazing. Sand always gets cleaned by the staff. I've booked a motorbike with their help from a company and it was hassle free and convenient. The design inside the deluxe beachfront room is very Thai and very cool. All wooden, interesting artwork. I usually search for new places to stay when on vacation, this is the first time I will for sure book again the same place in the future.

In the sea, there is a party boat, far away. In the nights you hear a little bit of the bass from their music. But it's not something that bothered me to the point of disturbing my sleep since the main sounds you hear are the ocean waves!

You can’t not love this little gem. Lots of nice little extras. Refill fridge with soft drinks for free. Beautiful towels plentiful. Peaceful beach great for swimming. Beautiful breakfast. You can pick from Al Carte menu which I did not know till a day after staying. Great coffee too. Great internet in room And on beach.

I can’t speak one word of any language other than my own. Most staff spoke good English just slightly hard when staff did not know the very very basics when ordering food. This takes nothing away from this lovely boutique place.nor the lovely staff. If your into sustainability the two bottles of water daily was lovely … I’d prefer a water fountain to fill up due to the plastic consumption blah blah . I had so many towels which again was lovely might be good to use a little notice to save them bring cleans ones every day ( 2 beach 2 bath 2 flannels) if you did not need more ! great but god a lot of unnecessary washing. If you’re not into sustainability well you’ll love it … No pool but great swimming beach so never missed …

The resort is located right on the quieter part of Chaweng beach. The breakfast is great, served right in front of the sea. The food is delicious, water and other kind of beverage are free every day and the atmosphere is very peaceful. We also enjoyed being able to choose between a quiet evening and a more lively one, as the resort is only about a 30-minute walk from the busier areas with restaurants and markets.

As a tourist, I find it very inconvenient not to be able to use my credit card to pay for drinks and meals

The Chawang Beach location was wonderful. The beach was beautiful, peaceful, and serene. Great for swimming and long walks about the lovely bay. The staff customer service was very friendly, professional, and attentive. Our many thanks to the hard working staff including Pete, Noom, Katie, and Pan. It was easy to catch a taxi or shuttle truck into town to shop and dine. The food was excellent. Noom was a wonderful Chef. Our room had a balcony and lovely view of the beach. An airport shuttle van was very convientl and the cost was 400 bhats. There are many loaner books to read. Mostly we're in German. The tropical garden and outdoor restaurant was lovely.

Just amazing!!! Very friendly staff, super clean room, and they provide every day fresh towels, water and clean the room. The hotel is just in front of the beautiful beach which is really quite, white sand and perfect for kids as it is very shallow. Breakfast is great and very delicious! Really a hidden gem!! The restaurant is in front of the beach so you can enjoy the view and good food.

Lovely location - really close to the beach which is so nice, I think especially for a family where you can just pop back into the safety of your house right from a swim. Bed was super comfortable and big. Shower area also really nice. I think they have snorkelling gear you can borrow and canoes although I was only there a few nights so didn’t enquire but this is a nice touch. My favourite thing though was the garden which is so beautifully maintained and you can tell they have put a lot of love into it.

Would be great to have a mosquito net but that’s the only improvement, and maybe some suggestions of things to do / good restaurants in the local area. There was a centipede in my room and although I didn’t mind, it might have bothered some people. Overall though very clean, a little tired in places but definitely worth it. For a solo traveller I felt a bit nervous about how easily someone could access the huts from the beach, but there were staff there all night, and I think most people would travel here as a couple +

We initially booked just a night but ended up staying 3 nights. Location is perfect, we rented a motorbike with the hotel and it's a great base to explore the islands attractions. Staff is very friendly, they made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Beach in front of the hotel is silent and can relax away from the crowds. The place just has a few rooms and it feels very relaxing. The room is really big, we loved the size. Breakfast is good.

We had one of the two beachfront rooms and it was absolutely incredible - waking up to that view every morning was amazing. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Rooms are traditional old Thai style and their air con worked perfectly. Cleaning staff worked so hard and the mini bar was appreciated. The location is away from the craziness but equally only a 10 min walk to, if that's your thing. Really great gent doing laundry about 30m away from the hotel.

My Thai is absolutely horrendous and the receptionist and some key staff didn't have the best English. You got by ok but sometimes it was challenging. Not the hotel's fault but you could hear the banging tunes most nights - does stop reasonably early though. Oh and be careful of the bike hire that the hotel recommends - they (hire company) tried to con us saying the scooters had damage but we had taken videos upon receipt and they changed their tune pretty quickly. This is common place in Thailand and not the hotel's fault - just a word of warning.

The location is perfect! The staff is very friendly. The breakfast options and portions was the best I have ever gotten in Thailand. I want to come here again. The beds and pillows are soft and comfortable.

The interior in the rooms are quite old and could need an update. But it is still cozy, so not a problem. We had problem with our first room, but the nice lady at the front desk helped us directly and the new room was perfect.
