The staff were exceptional! They spoke great English and were extremely warm and friendly not only at point of check in but every time I encounter them in the hotel. The breakfast had a great spread of both Asian and Western food choices. There is also the ala carte menu to order eggs, noodles and cold press juices from. The room was spectacular in terms of cleanliness and modern look. Housekeeping came by daily every morning around 9am like clockwork and always leaves a hand written note which brightens up my day. The pool is Insta-worthy with its beautiful layout. I see many guests taking photos there daily. The hotel is also within 10mins walking distance from Maya Lifestyle Mall.

The bathroom shower is partially open concept. The water would spill out of the shower area into the main bathroom area each time I shower. However, it dries up quickly so it was not much of an issue.

I didn't opt for breakfast at the hotel, but I really appreciated the staff's help throughout my stay - particularly Gui! He recommended two restaurants that were incredible and took the time to help us ensure we were comfortable! The bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathtub was amazing and came with bath salts! Loved everything, super clean, super comfy and they set up Netflix for me too which was great!

I didn't use the gym because the equipment was limited, but i didn't mind that.

We liked the complimentary mini soft drinks. Staff was very helpful and room was very comfortable and cleaned daily.

The breakfast was not well catered for everyone. Not much options for vegetarian hot breakfast. Vegetables when any was mixed with Non-Veg. Was mostly for Chinese plus food and tea not hot just warm. Self serve food not replenished when finished. Staff need to give one a chance to sit down before asking what one needs as everything came at once without giving a chance to grab fruits, toast etc. communication was also an issue as not always understood.

Staff. It is 5-star hotel with all the facilities you expect, but the people there are more than extraordinary. I was at a store and needed a copy of my passport for a tax refund (I didn’t have it with me). So, I called the hotel since they had a copy, and in short – the way they handled this delicate situation was perfect. They acted like true professionals with great emphasis on the security of my personal data. Hats off to them!

Staff are thoughtful, friendly, and professional. Room and public spaces are bright and cheerful. We've stayed on several trips to Chiang Mai. Consistently reflects excellent value.

Bread at breakfast was not fresh. Small fitness center. Room lacks an explanation of how to control the lights and the air conditioning which are both complicated. A good 10 minute walk to Maya Plaza.

Hotel staff at the reception area named Win has been great helped throughout my stay. the first day I arrived, he recommended a nice cozy and fun place for dinner. i had a great time there as there was LIVE music played all night. We as a visitor need local recommendation! thank you Win !

It was a bit confusing at first as the hotel is situated at the same area as another hotel so i was driving around a bit until i could find the hotel.

-The staffs are so nice; especially Bond helps us to decorate our room as per my special request to surprise my girlfriend. 😄 -Everything in room is quite new and clean -We didn’t hear any sound during the stay, it’s very quiet. Sleep well every night! -Breakfast menu is great.

- a little far from old town, but Grab can solve it. - shower room doesn’t have the full closed door, which makes the water split out (it dries quickly so not count as a big problem).

We love the design and the atmosphere! Room is comfortable and well equipped. The art gallery at the hotel lobby is really touched. Front Desk/Bellman services was up to the standards- Big hands to Khun Ton for his excellent services.

The water pressure need to be upgraded, based on the rate we paid we expected to have a stronger water pressure and consistent of the hot shower. Housekeeping staff forgot to clear the garbage on the first day and not replaced the bathrobe on the second day. The sheets (Blanket) was stinky smell on the first day but believed they have changed on the 3rd days. All are fine for us as we spent most of the time for sightseeing however those may affected to others guests who has more expectations.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here. The hotel has beautiful modern decor and a nice pool. It is in a quieter area which was a nice break from the busier parts of the city. This did make transportation a little bit tricker but wasn’t really issue. It was a very short ride to nearby restaurants- less than 100 bht and about a 15 min Grab to Old City. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Since it’s a smaller hotel and our stay was at a slower time of year, it was very nice to get to know some of the staff a little. The bar tenders went above and beyond making us incredible drinks. Many taxi drivers were much more familiar with the location if we told them Khun Phucome Hotel, which is right next to SYN.

SYN Boutique Hotel is fabulously wonderful! I am still shocked by how they exceeded all my expectations. This is truly the best price-value hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It’s gorgeous, clean, amazing and professional staff and the customer service is really 5-star. They await you with an insanely good passion fruit welcome drink, disinfect your phone, you can check in anytime, they have an art gallery, and everything is just so luxurious and high-end. Everything. The room - just wow. It could easily compete with all the big 5-star brands. Even the toilet is electric and high-tech and the minibar usage is free. Also, you can just sense that the owner paid so much attention to detail and has a fantastic taste. Loved it all and I highly recommend this place.

The only thing they could improve is add at least one vegan food option on the menu and lower the bass in the outdoor pool area. The bass of the speaker is very bad - you can feel the “boom” in your body and it’s hard to relax at the pool this way. Just a bit unnecessarily loud and disturbing.
