I loved everything. It’s away from the hustle of the city. Secluded, quiet and peacefull. The rooms are traditional but very stylish, clean and very comfortable. The homestay offers beautiful swimming pool that has the view of the river and 2 saunas. I loved that it was very little people since there are maybe only 5-6 bungalows and few rooms. You feel like at home. Very well kept garden. Breakfast was very satisfying, personalised ( I don’t like pineapples, I didn’t say that, but the next day the girl noticed it and gave me papaya and mango). The host and the owner are wonderful people. The host helped me a lot, agreed to keep my big bag while I traveled with scooter to Pai for 2 days. This is why.. I came back for one more night to experience this inspiring atmosphere. Absolutely recommend you to stay here!

Absolutely nothing

To begin every day sitting by the Mae Ping and being served a delicious breakfast of good coffee, fresh fruit , eggs, muesli and regional delicacies by such friendly staff was idyllic. It was very easy to while away several hours by the pool. It is a credit to the owners that they have been able to recover their business after the flooding in October,24. The whole property was under water and the clean up operation was a mammoth task. What really makes this a wonderful place to stay is the hospitality and friendliness of the owners, Yun and Phom. Phom runs the restuarant next door and the food is always exceptional . We ate there most nights. It is not surprising that we met guests who had been returning for fifteen years. We booked for three nights and stayed for sixteen! I look forward to returning next year and I know that it will be like meeting old friends. Thank you Tonnam for making my holiday so memorable and happy.

We did leave Tonnam to explore the area by foot, but it is on a very busy road and I didn’t enjoy the walk into the nearby town. But there are useful shops and a fabulous hairdresser nearby. We decided that Phom’s varied menu was perfect and lovely to relax there after a day of sight seeing. It is not a problem to get taxis too and from Tonnam.

Thanks for having us! My wife and I had a great and relax time, staff super friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was so delicious, we love the local vibe of the nearby business.

Unfortunately, steam room and sauna was out of order, but we have enjoyed the jacuzzi very well.

Beautiful, quiet and very special resort in an old 100 year old house. Staff was friendly and owner very involved in making his guests feel at home. Loved eating breakfast every morning with the view of the river. Highly recommend, would return to visit again!

The atmosphere.The host. The facility was excellent. And Yul was a great host. This was the best place we has been staying at in Thailand. The cottage was so nice and the breakfast so delicious and fresh made. Thank you so much Yul and colleagues.. Yul was so warm and helpful.

The owner and staff were really friendly. Our traditional, albeit a bit too dark room was cleaned every day, breakfasts were also fine

Reading the reviews, I haven’t seen anyone mentioning what was hands down the biggest drawback for us - noise. The street neighbouring the hotel was very busy, frequently filling our room with roar of cars and scooters, both day- and nighttime, and despite windows shut. It’s not owner’s fault but it made our stay in Tonnam far less enjoyable. The common area seems slightly run-down (saunas out of order, a lot of stuff lying around) and terrace is not exactly like in pictures. For the price, our other accommodations in Thailand had better standard.
