The top floor room matched the pictures, and we loved our view. It was a large, comfortable room. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, carrying our heavy bag all the way up. There were lots of spaces to sit and enjoy the town, and it was located close to a night market. There was also a riverfront path not too far away. They ordered us a taxi to the border.

The Wifi was not strong enough to stream TV. The bar across the street had loud karaoke until midnight. There were Christian writings all over the walls, which I think is appropriate for a church, not a hotel. It is a very nice hotel overall.

- great building - close to shops and bar along small strip - very comfy bed - nice and clean - separate bathroom which was great - plenty of space - lots of plugs and different lights - had a great nights sleep - staff very helpful - helped us cancel one night as we booked 2 then changed our minds - cafe looks very nice - you can book the slow-boat through them if needed and not found another deal elsewhere

- could hear the bar nearby - didn’t affect our sleep though - people have mentioned about no staff being about - I messaged the property a rough time we would be there. Staff were upstairs so I messaged them to say that we were there and they messaged straight away and they came down

Very clean room and lovely comfy bed. Nice outside terrace area. Close to restaurants and supermarkets and a lovely riverside walk along the Mekong. The bus station was a 10/15 minute walk away. Fine for an overnight stay on your way through from the border.

Only saw one person at the hotel - the receptionist who checked me in. Next morning there was no-one there. I left at 11.30 am without seeing a soul. This didn't matter as I was given a gate key but I had hoped for coffee from the coffee bar.

Large comfortable bedroom with balcony. Great location just on the main street and still quiet. Very good value for money. Perfect break before crossing into Laos, especially because the town has a lovely riverfront to have food and drinks at.

There was a water pump going on at intervals that was quite noisy and deserves to be looked at.

It’s in a good location with restaurants and stores within walking distance. It’s located in the heart of Chiang Khong city. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower had strong water pressure and was hot. Although the staff wasn’t there to greet us when we arrived, we rang the bell as the sign said, and she came right away. She was very helpful and helped us immensely. It was a good value for the money. I would stay here again.

The only negative thing about it is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything that everyone else is doing. Because we didn’t come during a high tourist season, our group was the only group there, so this wasn’t an issue, but if there were other people and groups staying there at the same time, it probably wouldn’t be very quiet, but it’s comfortable and a great price.

The space was a little run down in comparison to the pictures, the shower fitting was broken so you needed to hold the shower head to wash. It’s a nice place but you could probably get more for your money in the same area

Great room. Private bathroom was worth the money. Location was super convenient to walk around Chiang Khong.

It would have been nice to have someone at the front desk when I arrived, but the host was responsive on WhatsApp, so it did not take too long to check in.

Great easy location for staying before the border. The private room we stayed in was lovely, felt modern and had nice lighting which is a rare find! Only a quick stay but was just right.

good for an overnight stay for crossing the border to Laos. bed was comfy and good value for money.

there was no one at reception when we came to check in and we were with another tourist who wanted to book a room for the night who left because no one turned up for a good 10 minutes of waiting - however we eventually found a number to call and the staff did appear. the shower was also cold and didn’t get warm..

Comfortable room (small but ok for one night). Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff and owner. Nice common room. Laundromat next to the hotel. Very nice Pad Thai restaurant close by. Perfect for one night.

It stated that credit card payments are accepted on Booking.com but they are not anymore (Dec 22). We had to withdraw some money at the last minute.
