Fabulous location, exceptionally cleaned, stayed at beach side but mountain side pool was nice as very quite in comparison to beach side pool, although right on wonderful beach. Breakfast excellent with lots of choice and plentiful always filling up during service. Wonderful beach view with breakfast. Highly recommend this resort.

we came back to Koh Chang White Sand Beach after 4 years and choose KACHA as it looked wonderful with the direct beach access, pools and interior and our excpectation was completley fulfilled!!! As it wss low season there have not been many guests but everything was working as it should. Free parking, quick check-inn and a full equipped big room near to the seaside pool. All the staff at the pool, in the restaurant and room service have been very nice and helpful. Breakfast had an excellent choice to pick from western to thai meals and all the food we tried in the restaurant was excellent as well. KACHA Resort is also still after Covid a good recommondation on White Sand Beach

Lovely setting, right on the beach, lovely and quiet but lots of restaurants and little bars all around.

The breakfast wasn't great. Self service buffet, spread over a large area, it took many journeys to get a coffee, a juice and a slice of toast. Some odd dishes for breakfast, such as pumpkin soup and cauliflower cheese - maybe popular with other countries and easily avoided. Breakfast finishes at 10am, which means a 9am wake up. It would be nice if a reduced breakfast could go on till 11/12 o'clock.

Everything was great from the get go! Clean fresh hotel with welcoming staff with good english. Check in was very easy and good. We got early check in and an upgrade was provided where we got pool and oceanview to our villa. Greatly appreciated by us. The facilities were beautiful and good. The room was excellent. Nothing was old, damaged or in bad shape. Gorgeous bathrobes and all needed toiletries. Very nice AC and comfortable bed. The pool is gorgeous and nice. The walkways are pleasant. A sundeck to watch the sunset was amazing. The beach in front of the pool is rocky but in front of the sundeck its smooth tan sand and gorgeous ocean waves. Staff is very friendly put in the extra effort even at cleaning. Always polite, smiling and helpful. Feeling of geniuine care. Security guards are here and very friendly. Close to everything you need.

The breakfast was a bit limited and bland in taste which is the only reason it doesnt get a 10 from us. The sandals were too big but not a big deal.

If you manage your expectations this is a marvelous vacation spot. Now if you think you're going to get a 5 star/5 diamond resort on a beer budget you won't be as happy as we were. Koh Chang has some entertainment on it with tours and boat based snorkel/diving adventures. But the real joy here is to spend time with your loved ones and yourself to remember the past and dream about the future in an exotic beach location at a very reasonable price. Our room was large with mini refrigerator and electric kettle. We opted for beach view with a king sized bed and felt it was well worth the price. We had a terrace with chairs but if your unit doesn't have one there are many options down by the restaurant or recliners around the circular swimming pool. Drinks are available poolside as well as at tables and seating first line of the sea. The restaurant was very good with both Thai and Western options. Our favorite meal was the sea bass on a bed of potatoes and spinach or kale. The Internet worked well. Just as a note the high tide comes all the way up to the hotel's retaining wall. You can still get onto the sand over by the restaurant even at high tide. At low tide it's a nice maybe 20 minute loop up and back. There is a decent breakfast buffet that should satisfy your caloric needs. They have live music in the evenings and an interesting fire show on a couple of nights. The walk into town and back is mildly entertaining. There's not all that much to do and we loved every minute of it.

As I said, manage your expectations. If you have to be busy every minute you might think twice about this resort. The wait staff at the restaurant are a mix with only a couple of actually friendly servers. The other 90% don't smile, don't engage in conversation and probably don't understand what you are saying based on the results of our few special requests. There is a very poor collection of TV channels and they don't support streaming apps. So if you need TV bring a tablet.

On the white sands beach so it very good location. The beach in front of the hotel is quite rocky but in just a short distance , you get a sandy beach.

They opened my safe box before I checked out while I’m in the breakfast. This is a wrong decision by the receptionist who was there on the morning of 17 June. They took all my money and staff which were inside the safe box to the reception! How could a hotel manager accepts this. Fortunately nothing was missing. The breakfast was almost the same every day, they could be more attentive to details and offer more options to guests who stays longer time .

We had an upgrade so that was good. Our cleaner was great and gave us new a new towel exhibition each day. Had a birthday there and though I was sick on it(as were a few tourists this week) they gave me a nice gift, a huge ice cream and I genuinely felt they cared The location is great for both shops, restaurants and beach. The breakfast was busy but it was a beautiful location. Pools were fine too. Would we want to be across on the beachside. Maybe but it didn’t bother me and it was super busy that side with the package tour groups from Germany,Russia and China The location on the beach is almost the best on the whole white beach

The gym needs upgrading and failed as a workout room for us sadly and that was one of the benefits we booked Kacha for The prices In the restaurant were overpriced really and there are many options elsewhere. Koh Chang is generally more expensive than Krabi and the other bigger places and we didn't find a great Thai restaurant that we could return to as we have at the other locations Some of the layout and rules are a little odd Only one towel. No mattress on the subbed by the pool Or ocean. Coffee cups and saucers location does not work at all

We loved everything about the property. Pool was fabulous, restaurant was great. Staff friendly and polite.

Nothing to dislike

We had a pleasant stay here. Location is within easy reach of the towns amenities. Small gym and nice pool area. Rooms were larger than normal, comfortable bed, modern and clean. Super Breakfast in dinning room right next to the beach which was excellent. Breakfast on day 1 was interrupted by the lovely hotel owner and her staff presenting my partner with a delicious birthday cake, candles and a present to the sound of Happy birthday to you on the music system. A nice touch madam. Thank you.

Nothing to mention. Everything was fine. Next time I visit Koh Chang will probably stay here.

Right in the town can walk to most things bars shops restaurants all round good place either side hill side or beach side both have good pools
