Absolutely beautiful and well located. It’s already a little bit old but still very comfortable. Breakfast are ok. Localization is super - lots of shops, restaurants and cafes just “behind the door” :) from one hand it’s quiet and cosy, but located in the heart of “town”. Hotel Restaurant is a bit expensive, especially in comparison with many other places around the hotel. Hotel staff cleans room and change towels every day. If someone count on luxury resort it is not. But very comfortable and nice. I really love it.

View from our Seaview room was amazing. Location was good walking to restaurants and supermarkets.

We paid extra to include breakfast in our stay, the food was average. They let people hog the chairs around the pool, people would leave towels on the chairs for hours and not use them. The staff should be removing the towels after 30 min and letting other guest use the chairs.

A great value hotel with a private beach and a good quality restaurant on the same beach. A good quality and variety breakfast.

During our stay the hotel was repainted with oil based paint without advanced warning or discount. The restaurant prices are a bit on the high side.

Good Location Right on the top end of White Sands Beach Plenty of shops ,restaurants,money exchange right outside the Resort Plenty of Baht Buses around if you do not have transport to go to other areas I have a car which is pretty easy . Just be careful and slow on the roads on the Island . Pretty narrow and numerous places hilly with sharp curves Find most of the time you will be driving at 20 to 45 kilometres per hour But that is fine . Nice and safe. Staff were all pleasant and helpful Parking is very tight and limited . But every time I came in or out a staff member would come straight out and help guide in or out . Sometimes they would move some motorbikes to create a car park space Tried 10 different restaurants all over the island . Each one was great ( so is the Ban Phu Hotel very good breakfast each day and had 1 lunch and 1 dinner there ) Beach eating Cliff top view eating ..brilliant The best restaurant was Le JaoJom Between White sands beach and Lonely Beach It is sensational fine dining . More expensive than other restaurants ,but well worth it Ban Phu pool is very good ,Definitely worth staying here , especially if its your first time on the Island because of location and right on a great beach

Same old story from a certain nationality of putting bag and towel on Sun bed lounges at 7.00am and then disappearing for 5 to 7 hours . Need to adopt rule that many places do in Thailand now , No one on the bed for 2 hours ,staff pack up and store at reception The rooms are starting to get a bit tired . Still very nice but think in the next couple of years some refurbishments will be need A small fan on the balcony would be excellent addition

We were upgraded to a beach front room which was only a couple of meters from the sea at high tide which was AMAZING. Liked our room. Good air con, reading lights, fridge, safe, kettle and always lots of coffee restocked every day. Comfortable bed. Nice covered terrace with deckchairs. Breakfast included. Good location on one of the nicest beaches for swimming.

Nothing major but improvements could make it even better; TV didn't work. No hairdryer which at this price point I thought would be standard. WiFi intermittent. Bathroom definitely looking tired and in need of some renovation/upgrade. Breakfast was ok. Only had a vegetarian noodle option 50 % of our stay. Poor fruit selection. Overall we would recommend and would love to re book the same room.

Given it was rainy season, beach okay, location great, breakfast good.

We stayed May 2024. Beautiful hotel right on the beach, with a very nice pool that is partly shaded by trees and stays cool so its very refreshing. (The sea gets very warm!) The beach is big pebbles right by the hotel so a little awkward but once you are past the first meter or two you can get on the sand, and you can walk along the sand the whole length on the beach when the tide is out. It was beautiful and there are swings on the trees by the hotel. The cafe/restaurant was OK and a good food selection at breakfast. Our room was very big and a massive comfy bed. Air con very good and quiet. Shower was good, bathroom gets warm but fine. Location was good - whitesands is a long strip of tourist town with lots of restaurants and touristy clothes shops for beach wear. There are nice restaurants on the beach with tables out on the sand when the tide is out in the evening. Turn left /north when leaving the hotel if going on the road to get to the restaurants. For taxis you might need to walk along the road a bit in the same direction and then you see them waiting by the road.

We booked the deluxe room which is shown as beachfront in the photos. But the hotel don't distinguish between poolside room and beachfront room, so initially put us next to the pool - they moved us when we asked because they had availability, but this would have been disappointing as we picked it for that reason. We stayed in the room at the furthest end from the cafe, and there was a loud bird in the night every night just outside. Very noisy! We extended one night and had to move room for that last night to a basic triple room in a different building - that room was cheaper but the balcony door didn't close properly and the aircon was older and not as good.

I like the place, the staffs are nice and the food was exceptional. And everything you need aside from the hotel are accessible like if you wanna go on diving, fishing, trekking activities. You can easily book it yourself by asking the hotel.

I think, it's not that I don't like but it's more on like they are not being attentive to my request. I requested for a sachet of coffee in my room as it was included in the package but sadly haven't received any, from the very start of my stay 'til I leave. I'm a coffee lover, so I'm kind of a bit dismayed because they told me that they will attend to my request but I didn't get any.

The view from the sea view room was superb. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was clean and fresh smelling. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My visit was during the rainy season, so I decided to stay in and eat dinner at the resort restaurant. Sadly, the food was not up to the usual standards I have experienced in Thailand. Most of the dishes were overcooked and were rather bland. There are other restaurant options nearby. The included breakfast selection was good.

This is definitely a resort of two halves, there is the dark wood, forest side with the pool, reception and restaurant, and then there is a more California beach style side with steps down to the beach. I stayed on the beach side and loved it, I was upgraded to the sea view room (room 328) and it was so lovely to sit out and watch the sunset. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, had all the amenities I needed, the bed was comfortable. The beach directly in front has had the rocks cleared so you get a whole portion of the beach to yourself because people further along don't really venture up as far (I would even say that those staying in the forest part don't realise that this is part of the same resort and they can access the beach here). Lots of restaurants on this strip of beach. There is even a cute little conservatory bit at the front with garden furniture. I can't comment on the free breakfast, pool or anything from the forest themed side as I kind of forgot they existed - wandered round when I checked out and has a nice layout, sea view, plenty of sun chairs.

There are a few little glass blocks at the top that have been painted over but that still let a lot of light in at night, so an eye mask might be a good idea. I noticed ants and flying ants on my 2nd day, mentioned it to the reception and they sprayed where we thought they came from (corner by the front door) and that fixed the issue entirely. Not really an issue but the tide is high and comes up the top of the stairs until at least 2pm but after that you have the sand again - you can still go in the water but direct from the steps.
