After backpacking Sri Lanka for a month we were delighted with our accommodation here in koh chang, some of the reviews we read were bad but I really can’t see why, this place is luxury especially after a backpacking trip! The rooms are big with hot water shower, tv and terrace out the front, fridge in the room with hairdryer etc. I only ate here once for lunch but they have a nice set up on the beach, and I saw a buffet for dinner. The breakfast is really nice although it would be great if things were labeled as I’m a vegetarian and wasn’t sure what I could and couldn’t eat, I could have asked the staff which wouldn’t have been a problem as they are all so lovely, but I just stuck with eggs, toast and fruit 👏🏻 there’s an omelette station too which my boyfriend used every day. The pool is HUGE, there’s a large jacuzzi style bit and a slide. It’s right on the beach so can swap between sunbathing on the beach to having a dip in the pool, the reviews are true about the sunbeds however, I counted 13 that were not in use for a long period of the day but had towels on, however this didn’t bother us too much as we like sun bathing on the beach, but I can see why this would frustrate other customers 👎🏻 there is also a free gym just across the road! It can be a little busy at times but you’ll be able to find something to do without a problem. The hotel is very close by to some really nice restaurants too. Thank you to all the staff at lagoon, especially the man on the front desk who helped us when we lost our phone 🤣🙈

Only thing I would recommend is labelling the food at breakfast for people with dietary requirement’s ☺️

the pool is great and the hotel is on the beach. The cleaning girls do a great job but rooms are old and mattresses have metal springs. Too expensive for the given service. The guy at the reception is (the only one) quite reactive. The problem with low coast employees (Cambodian), is that they already don't give a damn and probably work long hours, forget about Thai massages and Thai food we used to know, now Cambodians do the job and sorry but, they should be trained or maybe thai people just get back to work! Thailand has changed and not for the best. There're so many other much much better destinations in northern Asia with real service and not as expensive that the excuse of practical flights don't work for us anymore, Thailand will never ever see us again!

Location! Beautiful beach with warm water, soft sand. Our beach front bungalow was so spacious with a huge bed, sitting area and large bathroom including a spa bath! Also, one of the kids accidentally left a beloved stuffed toy behind when we checked out. The super friendly staff express posted it to us at our accommodation in Bangkok at no cost (even though we offered to pay.) Amazing place, amazing staff and service!

The hot water took a while to get warm (or sometimes didn't). It was nice having a cool shower anyway.

Lovely hotel right on the beach, seawiew from the rooms, kidsfriendly pool with bubbles and a slide and a friendly cleaningstaff who made different animals out of our towels everyday. We had breakfast included and could choose between a variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The beach is beautiful with clear shallow water and rooms spacious with verandas outside. Our kids loved eveything about it.

The restaurant is quite pricy why we went to dine elsewhere, but there are several other cheaper options along the beach and in town. The manager warned us about noise from the bar in the evening but really, it wasn't more than a distant bass until 11 pm - not a problem to neither us nor our kids

Good location (Nice restaurants nearby) , great pool and beach. I also liked they own restaurant, beach bar, the staff and the general vibes.

It didn't bother me, but beach bar was next to mine beach bungalow and there was DJ 'till 11pm. So if you don't like beach bars and dance music, don't book beach bungalow. 🙃

Everything , right on the beach, nice pool, very good quality food ( we run a restaurant so we are fussy) great little cocktail bar and rooms are comfortable nice staff as well there’s also a good gym over the road for residents to use

The room we stayed in didn’t have any windows apart from on the door but there not all like that they have family rooms with big glass windows but are more expensive it’s not a big deal but I think reviews should be informative so people have choices when booking. The area is a bit quiet personally next time I’d stay in Kai bae where there are lots more restaurants and bars to choose from.

Location is perfect: good cafe within 40 m, shops within 50 m, and great restaurants within a 5-10 min. songthaew ride. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The pool of the hotel is well-maintained and clean. Beach bars with music are open until 2300, then exactly at 2300 all music stops, and the beach is quiet. Our room was great though, we could hardly hear the noises from outside.

The food in the restaurant of the hotel was so-so for our taste. We skipped the breakfast as well…

We chose the bungalow room and could not be happier. The room is on top of the beach, overlooking the pool, the sand, and the ocean. Absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the pool which is next to the beach.

Room was a bit dated and very warm, aircon blows right into the bed which is not the best during the night,

The surroundings and the facilities. Great place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the great beach. Close to everything in White Sand Beach.

Its a nice place but some things including the water slide could be in need of an update.
