The Room: The deluxe room was excellent—spacious, clean, with a large balcony and a well-equipped bathroom. It was comfortable and well-maintained. Facilities: The hotel was nice but slightly worn, with some areas marked as “defective.” There’s no beach at the hotel, but they offer free boat trips to a nearby island with a small beach and jungle terrain. While the island was interesting, it felt cluttered and unorganized. The pool area was small but clean and relaxing, with hammocks and sun loungers. Service: The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist, who stood out for her warm and welcoming attitude. There were minor issues with orders, but they resolved them quickly and with a smile. Drawbacks: The biggest downside was that smoking was allowed at breakfast tables and near the sun loungers, which was unpleasant for non-smokers. The lack of designated smoking areas detracted from the overall experience. Summary: Parama Koh Chang is a great place for relaxation, with friendly staff and lovely rooms. However, clearer smoking policies and some maintenance would make it even better. I recommend it for those seeking a peaceful getaway.

A smaller boutique resort on the quiet side of Koh Chang (which we were well aware of). There is no beach front here however the pool was lovely. Huge soft beds, large bathroom includes bath and front decking. Friendly staff just remember not a much English though but that didn't stop us from communicating. Feeding the fish and turtles at their restaurant was novel and there was the ability to use kayaks and take a free boat across to a neighbouring island if desired. Recommend hiring car or motor bike if coming to this resort to enable you to explore the area. 15 minute driving approx in different directions to explore Long beach also the ghost ship or head another direction Salak Phet Seaford restaurant and the fishing village with boats trips. This is a place to relax, unwind without crowds and picturesque garden with the rooms nestled in definitely stay two nights minimum so that you can leisurely explore. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Honestly nothing bad, it was lovely, the food had both options Western and Thai was cooked well and definitely not overpriced for a resort, it just can not compete with some other places we personally have been too. Don't expect a big buffet breakfast spread, it's a la carte (menu cook to order) which we totally appreciate not to waste food when there are smaller number of guests that can stay at this resort. This is the bonus of this type of resort sitting without hustle and bustle.

Amazing facilities, quiet location away from all the parties. Very attentive staff who did everything within their power to fix the issues we had. If you are looking for the parties, don't book this hotel. This is a lovely quiet place, great for relaxing. Kudos to Pen and the lady on the front desk at all times who's name I sadly didn't get. Bath was amazing! Nice touch was fresh cut fruit every evening left in the fridge in the room. Would also like to reccomend Rainbow House Cafe for authentic Thai food (just outside the hotel)

The WiFi was patchy and dropped at times.

It's on a very quiet side of the island so not many tourists around which can be a plus but also make it difficult to find restaurants opened around. The snorkeling activity offered was really expensive compared to the other side of the island where all tourists go ( like 4 to 5 times the price!). The only activity included in our stay was a short boat trip to go to a deserted island but unfortunately the island was literally full of trash and old abandoned buildings, so not really worth it. The staff was really nice and helpful, food was good too and the room was very comfortable. Overall a good relaxing stay but I guess I would choose a different side of the island if I had to go back to Koh chang.

The staff are extremely nice and professional

Everything was lovely I thought the hotel features were amazing, sting Ray in reception and turtles in the restaurant aswell as the fish in the big pond the swimming pool was huge and the waterfall feature was cool staff were friendly ,location is isolated but if your looking for quiet it's perfect.

Could see the place needed a freshen up but nothing that would stop me going back

No access to the beach and no tourist brochures or other info about Koh Chang or the local area. The restaurant was fine, but not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel

The location was tranquil, with accommodating staff. The sandy beach on a nearby island was fabulous. My grandson loved the aquarium, particularly the manta ray and the turtles. It was so much fun to feed them.

Some communication problems, which were all resolved.

The entire staff was exceptional! Absolutely, the best location on Koh Chang. I loved staying at Parama One and will again.

The only issue was slow WiFi, but after a while of peace and quiet, I didn't care.

the landscape is a beauty, the staff is extraordinary friendly and was of great help at any time. if you are looking for a quite place with a relaxed atmosphere, this is the one to go to. scooter rental available, Kajaks can be used for free, there is also a boat shuttle to a nice abandoned island nearby. last but not least: take your time and feed some turtles or use the gym and sauna

Place is a little dislocated from the center of the island…so scooter is recommended. this remote situation is not a con point per se since we enjoyed it very much.
