We stayed 3 nights during our honeymoon trip in Thailand. We booked sunset villa with private swimming pool and and an amazing time there. It was everything we imagined and more. The villa had two separate houses - one living room and one bedroom with bathroom, separate toilet, bath and dressing room. Everything was very clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. The views were to die for and you definitely pay for that. They have decent hairdryer which is super really rare for hotels. Cleaners were coming in every day and if we were asleep they waited until we leave. The hotel is a bit secluded and although you can go out to eat for much cheaper outside we wanted to have a full experience and ate at the hotel. The food was decent and so were the drinks. We went during low season so it was kind of empty which we enjoyed since we actually came for some peace and quiet. Staff seemed a bit bored and we were not sure whether they were genuinely friendly towards us but we would like to say big thank you to Mee who we unfortunately met on our last night. He seemed sincerely interested in us and was really nice and genuine. He came to us during the breakfast on the last day as well and we just really enjoyed talking with him! All the drivers were ok, but there was one that we loved, unfortunately, we didn’t get his name. He picked us up once and we told him that the monkeys have visited us - he was very friendly and explaind what we need to do in this case. We saw him couple of times after but we didn’t think about getting his name. I hope the management will be able to identify him and let him know that he is doing a great job. The reception was very good and swift and sorting all our issues/requests efficiently. Also meet & greet and transfer were fantastic and no issues with that at all

Receptionists in person felt a bit awkward. On the last day we felt like they just want us to leave. No smiles from them. VAT is added on all your bills so if you are having a meal from different menus then you will have to pay VAT twice. Also, drinks will be on a separate bill and you will have to pay another VAT for that. Super weird and I saw many people complaining about that in the restaurant. This needs to be addressed.

We had a wonderful birthday stay at the Rawi Warin hotel, all of the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an extra special stay. A mention for our friend at the pool bar who made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived and had great fun with our son, however all of the staff were brilliant! The breakfast service is excellent, with so much choice (our favourites were the pastries and eggs Benedict), they also provided special plates and cups for kids. We stay in a villa, which was a generous size, well equipped and beautifully decorated. There was a bit of a hill up to the room, however the hotel provided a shuttle service, for when you weren’t feeling so energetic. The grounds were beautifully kept and the pools and spa were great. I had a massage and facial and the lady was very attentive. Our son loved the kids room, which was kept cool and clean. The restaurant served excellent Thai and western dishes for dinner. Outside of the hotel there are some good local restaurants, small shops, and places to book excursions.

The beach isn’t the best for swimming or relaxing on, it’s best to explore others on the island.

It was awful when you want to spend 15 minutes next to the pool all sunbeds were busy though there were almost no people, hotel let people book sunbeds with towels thats disgusting 🤮

This is our second time at the property after visiting in April and I can honestly say it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make your experience unforgettable. They are also the nicest people we’ve come across at any other hotel in Thailand. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, and breathtaking to walk around. The food served around the pool and in the restaurants is amazing - noticeably more expensive than other places but shouldn’t put you off as the quality is reflected in the price - the infinity pool is our favourite feature and looks out into the sea for some scenic views. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Koh Lanta.

The only “issue” we can find about the property is just how high up our room is which is easily resolved by asking for the cart to take you up - which is something we didn’t want to do all the time - if this concerns you, perhaps speaking to the hotel about having a room further down could benefit you.

Great hotel. Spacious well kept rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds. Housekeeping did a great job surprising our child by staging a scene with his stuffed animals and a towel-art dog. Plenty of things surrounding the property which are easily accessed if you rent a motorbike or use a tuk-tuk that are available outside the property. Excellent pools. One shallow pool (approx 75cm) which is good for kids, one big infinity pool, a lap pool and one up on the hill (not really worth the climb if you’re not already up there). The breakfast has a good mix of continental and Thai options, and brings daily variety. Daily planned activities for kids are fun. A big shout out to the staff member (unfortunately don’t know his name) who took a lot of patience to teach our son - who doesn’t speak any English - the basics of Muay Thai. He’ll forever be our son’s hero.

The kids club did not really have supervision, so less suited to ‘dump’ your kids and head off to relax.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are amazing and the gardeners work hard daily to keep it that way. I would say this is a 5* hotel if you stay in any room above their standard rooms. We had booked a deluxe room but after one night we moved to one of their tropical rooms which was absolutely beautiful. I think there are some deluxe rooms that would be absolutely fine and actually have a lovely view but ours felt dark, a bit dated.and a lot of the electrics didn't work. It felt like we were quite far away from the main hub of the hotel and that they were in need of some renovation. Once we had moved we had a wonderful time here. The rooms were beautifully clean every day and the breakfast was lovely. The amenities in the room were also great and the beds were the comfiest we have ever stayed in! The pool is really really lovely and it was always e asy to get a bed. I would say that the separate Jacuzzi style bit needs a bit of an update as the tiles were a worn and looked like they needed a bit of a clean. The beach is beautiful and really is like a private beach as it's difficult for people to walk over the rocks from the public beach the otherside. The staff are really friendly but especially the guys on the concierge station at the main lobby. They were so sweet and kind to our daughter and always had a smile on their faces. There are some lovely cafe's and restaurants locally (we didn't try the hotel restaurants), and the hotel will arrange a taxi if you need to go anywhere.We just took the taxi's number after the first time and then just messaged them directly. The company the hotel use are really lovely people and very reasonably priced. We were so sad to leave as this place really is fantastic and would recommend anyone to stay here if they were coming to Koh Lanta. We would love to come and visit again in the future.

Not enough sun beds, Hotel needs some how to stop people putting out there towels and not using them

We had an amazing recent stay at Rawi Warin Resort. A beautiful setting (even in the green/low season with some days of rain) with jungle bungalows and sea views, great pool and high end restaurants and really wonderful spa. Also all of the hotel staff were very friendly kind and efficient. Would recommended to anyone travelling to Koh Lanta looking for a relaxing kid-friendly resort. There are also lots of more local food places and supermarkets along the road within walking distance.

Nothing :) Only to bear in mind it is a 2h drive from Krabi airport but the resort happily organised our transfers for us

Everything about our stay was first class, the only disappointing thing for us is that we went during the wet season and a lot of restaurant were closed . But we cant fault the hotel for that. Breakfast was amazing with lots to choose from

Mee who looked after us at the poolside bar was an absolute star. The food and drinks from here were exceptional and we also enjoyed the swimming in the pool and beach. All staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and fine for us. Breakfast was also really, really good. Especially the eggs benedict.

The main restaurant for dinner was slightly disappointing as the food seemed to take a long time. Our drinks also never came! This may be because we were visiting in the off season.
