Amazing views from up here. The food is also amazing. Beds really comfy. Tips; use the accommodations taxi - you need 4WD to access. Take supplies - water / snacks up with you because once you are up - that’s it unless you hire a moped. We hired a moped from Fredrick- it was in really good condition so it had no problems getting 2 of us up and down the steep hills (except the very first one I would walk 10meters and get on there) the place is gorgeous, not the easiest to get to or from but that view is worth it!

Always video mopeds when collecting to make sure you have proof of the condition it was on when you collected. We did, so this stopped any disputes about a crack on the moped that was pointed out as we had evidence it was there on collection. (Just like anywhere in Thailand!)

not the property fault at all however the location is at the top of the hill which every taxi driver is scared of and wanted to charge a premium. the villa did offer bike rental however we were on our engagement holiday and preferred to get taxis for meals etc. There are no Grab in Sumi so the taxi mafia are in full force! hire a car or bike!!

Everything :) The place and the rooms are very clean, it feels like 5 stars hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provide you with everything you need. And don't get me started on the location, the view and the tranquility you get once you step in that place, it's mesmerizing. It's my second time here, I came 3 years ago, and it was so good that I came back again, and will come back every time I visit Thailand. Highly recommended.

Comfortable room , very quiet place with nice view

The only and the biggest issue is the access to the property The very steep driveway to the villa is almost impassable, especially after it rains. Taxis have no chance of driving up to the villa and often refuse service due to its location. The same applies to Uber Eats. I wasn’t able to place a delivery order even once. This place is more suited for people who want to spend their entire stay in one location.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay with such an amazing view for the hills, jungle, pool and ocean.Very quite and really felt isolated from the outside World, so if you are looking to get away and intend to relax this is a great place for you.The bed was super comfortable and we managed to experience a storm passing by which was so calming.The bathroom was very spacious too with a lot of amenities. The staff was so kind and very helpful.The food was delicious and Frederick and Ed were just awesome. They also offer transportation if needed which is very handy and helpful.

Apart from the hilly and steep roads there is nothing to mention.

Absolutely beautiful views from our bedroom (B7). It was so peaceful and quiet, like paradise! Our bed was very comfy and the owners were delightful. The food was absolutely delicious, we would highly recommend having a dinner here one night. It’s home made, fresh traditional Thai food.

The only slight downside was the steep hill you have to walk to reach the property, however the views made up for it.

Villa the Spot offered an amazing customer experience for us. Everything about this villa is special. The view fom the hill is stunning. The host offers a very familiar atmosphere and made us feel welcome. The offered food is traditional thai and absolutely delicious. They offer a lot of great adventures from the villa to a reasonable price. We had a very relaxing time and will absolutely recommend Villa the Spot and the amazing experience of staying here to everyone.

Amazing villa atop a mountain in Koh Samui. phenomenal view with two pools, taxi service, and food service (Fred and his wife can taxi and prepare food upon request but at their availability). We stayed in unit B8, which we argue is the best villa because it has a pool, mountain and ocean view, and it’s on the 2nd level so you have privacy.

The biggest downside is also the reason why it’s so phenomenal, which is being on mountain side. It’s difficult to get off the mountain unless you know how to scooter steep (I mean very steep) hills and can drive on the left side of the road. If you’re from North America this makes it very difficult and leaves you the option to ask Fred or his wife, or call a taxi. If asking Fred you’re at the behest of his availability and if you call a taxi you most likely will have to walk up the steep hill just so the taxi can reach you, but note not all taxi’s will drive up the mountain.

The view is spectacular and the villa is located somewhere quiet which means you get such peace when you stay there. The room has what you need including a mini bar (extra charge), doors leading straight to the amazing view and enough space for two people for a few nights. Fred was very welcoming and gave us delicious mango smoothies when we arrived and held our bags until we checked in. It's closeby to some pretty cool restaurants like jungle club, kapuhala and merit. If you're after serenity, this is the place to go!

The bathroom and shower could have been a little cleaner. When we arrived the floor near the toilet was still quite wet and the shower screen was dirty. If you plan on renting a bike or car, make sure you're confident to drive up pretty tricky terrain. It's worth the trouble for the view though.

Amazing villa, the building is so so beautiful. Definitely the most beautiful place me and my partner have ever stayed. The views were breathtaking and you can hear so many animal noises from the jungle. So so peaceful. So relaxing.

It is located within extremely steep hills, at the top of a mountain. However, we already read recent reviews so were expecting this. It did not make a difference to our trip! The views were worth it!
