The price-to-value ratio is superb. We stayed for six nights, and we were impressed with the beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand. The views on the two small beaches are also beautiful. The restaurant is excellent, and we did not feel the need to dine elsewhere. We are now elsewhere in Ko Samui, and the food at the hotel compares favorably with the better restaurants elsewhere. The grilled white snapper was exceptional. The breakfast is exceptionally good. The staff is truly wonderful, and I actually miss them. They are a genuinely nice group that is helpful and kind. The bartender makes good drinks.

There is no gym; the sand on the beach is course. Everything is a bit old; the room we stayed in is old, a little musty, and needs some rehab work. The room safe is old fashioned and required some practice to set up. There was no serious problem, and for the small nightly rate, who can complain?

The room size and view was amazing. The beach is great if you like snorkling but not good for swimming, you can walk to Silver bay 10 min walk for great swimming.

The only thing i didnt like was the internet, the internet is weak and signal comes and goes. Even when theres single dont expect to watch youtube or play brawl stars. Most you can do is send and recieve whatsapp messages. Internet strength and speed need to improve. Its also on the road side so you will hear traffic from time to time.

As I lived in Coral Cove for a month, I can talk about my stay in a little more detail. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff. Whether restaurant staff, bartenders, reception or gardeners: everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. You were given a very warm welcome every day. The view from the restaurant and the infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking. I would come back again for that reason alone. The rooms are large and have a warm light. The food from the restaurant was delicious! Many thanks to all the people who made such a wonderful stay possible.

Unfortunately, the drain in the shower doesn't work properly and if you take a longer shower and wash your hair as a woman, the water overflows. The prices for laundry service are too high.

The property has clearly been recently renovated and the rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff were all fabulous. The breakfast was varied and good. Restaurant meals ( we only had Thai) were excellent quality but a bit pricey - to be expected in this type of place. The location is away from hustle and bustle ( which we loved) and the views are 5*

The pool is showing its age. Could do with deep clean and re tiling. Plus annoying habit of some people grabbing sunlit gets early in the morning and then not using them is frustrating ( but not the hotels fault) - but they could choose to do something about it so it’s fair for all.

Coral Cliff is a very good place for a relaxing holiday and has a nice breakfast good dinner options on the grill with live music in the evening. The rooms are quite spacious and pretty clean. They have their own private beach although small it’s very cute and intimate. Overall can recommend it for your stay in Koh Samui.

It’s a little bit on the main road so the access for going out is only possible by scooter or car. The AC in the room is very loud and if you are a sensitive sleeper it may be a problem for you. The WiFi in some of the rooms and areas of the hotel is terrible especially in the evening when everyone is using it. In general it is a bit outdated and would need a renovation especially the pool area.

Excellent resort hotel with a cool pool and private beach (also access to bigger public beach). Good place to escape and relax. Staff were very attentive and provided a high level of service. A bit out of town (Lamai / Chaweng) but the hotel offer moped rental and even provide a (paid) taxi service to help guest move around the island.

To be honest the hotel could have managed some of the shared facilities better. However the other guests are more to blame for below: All week one group of guests left towels on the sun beds with the best view for hours to reserve them although not needing them. Pool attendants could monitor and remove. Guests refused use of air conditioning in the gym on a 30 degrees day. It would be better to have a staff member run the gym all day and set the conditions.

The complex is very pretty and our villa had an outstanding view of the sea. The staff are polite, attentive and helpful. Good selection of international and local food.

It backed onto a very busy road which was dangerous for pedestrians. The only safe access was by car or motorbike. So we couldn’t easily walk anywhere. The beach is tiny and access to it is quite tricky (high steps, rickety railings). There aren’t enough seats in the pool area. The villa was lovely but the hot water ran out after 30 seconds so it was cold showers all week.

The views from our hotel room were wonderful and having access to a snorkeling beach along with two swimming pools was absolutely grand. A caveat on the snorkeling. The weather does matter and we only had 3 clear water days of the 7 we were there. Our room was large and comfortably appointed with a balcony looking at one of the beaches and the swimming pools. The included breakfast got us off to a good start and we ate several meals at the restaurant having excellent both western and Thai selections. The staff at the front desk, the restaurant and bar as well as housekeeping were all marvelous!

Coral Cliff has a plumbing difficulty because of its location across a steep hillside. Our room smelled of sewerage two of the 7 nights we stayed. We did notify them and found covering the drain in the shower and the drain next to the toilet and keeping the sink plugged and half filled with water mitigated their problem. The management needs to install "S" traps in all drains and airvent out the roof instead of inside the bathrooms. Lastly, coffee is a make it or break it item for us. Good coffee will allow us to overlook small faults elsewhere. Their coffee is very acidic and marginally drinkable.

The road can be noisy

The property is located on a cliff and that allowed the hotel guests to enjoy a beautiful view and scenery. The breakfast was amazing. I had been craving proper breakfast, including bread, bacon and eggs and I got it. The staff were friendly. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. What goes around comes around. If you are friendly, they are also friendly. I read a lot of the comments here and most of the people sound very stuck up so expecting the world. The internet was also really good. The Western food at the restaurant was not so good. The rooms were a bit dated but honestly, once you see the view you forget about the rooms. I did cut myself on the beach but it’s not called coral beach for nothing.
