The location is simply amazing! They have the nicest bar on the whole beach, but luckily, it closes early, so the hotel guests are not disturbed at all. Great place to stay in Samui!

Sun beds for the guests are just by the pool, and there are really just a few, I think about six. Many people reserve them with towels during the whole day, even though there are signs encouraging the sharing of the beds. Maybe they could improve a little on that, maybe adding some direct on the beach for hotel guests. Also, the breakfast is just menus, with 3 options. We stayed 12 nights there, so it got quite boring after a couple of days.

Beautiful place to stay. Amazing beach, amazing food and staff are lovely. Get one of the "standard" rooms rather than "economy" as the standard rooms are nicer and more comfortable and closer to the beach. Perfect location right in the middle of lamai.

Nothing major but cleaning is done every 2 days but its not a big deal as you can ask for clean towels and toilet roll ect.

This Resort is right on the beach. Lovely restaurant, providing a great breakfast. The room is basic, but clean and comfortable. cleaned every day, with water provided for tea and coffee. A small outside place to sit, overlooking the garden, but a short walk from the pool, restaurant and beach. The pool was lovely to chill out by and there is a beach massage place next door. They also booked a taxi for us when leaving. The staff were really pleasant.

The only thing I would say they could improve is the set up with the sun loungers. They have signs saying that people should not save loungers with towels, however, every time we went to the pool, there were more towels than people. If they are going to put these signs up, then they should implement their own rules and ask people to remove the towels! All day, the people didn't return! We ended up having to ask for 2 sunbed mattresses, that we then put on the decking to lay on. A shame, as they should have just removed the towels.

The new rooms look amazing, the standard rooms are a bit old, some got renovated, some haven't yet.

Workers in the resort weren't so friendly, had a bad smell in the room area but they didn't suggest anything, the guy from reception simply said he didn't smell it.. we asked for extra pillows (they only put one on our king bed which was weird, and had to ask twice because first time we asked nothing happened.. Another thing is they have sunbeds and umbrellas, but they costs 500thb extra- and not including for hotel guest, only in the pool they have like 6 sunbeds, which clearly isn't enough in high season.. Those are the little things that make you either fill welcome or not.. we stayed in 3 other resorts in crystal bay and unfortunately this one missed it a bit..

Crystal beach is normally super beautiful but we weren't lucky and had windy weather during the whole stay so there were big waves all the time. However, location still remains absolutely amazing. I just loved the swimming pool. Staff was nice and even though they didn't speak much English (breakfast team), they were really trying and it means a lot! One person had a chihuahua there and that little angel always put a smile on my face.

We got the last room in the row so the view from the porch wasn't as pretty as in the other rooms I imagine. There's no soup to wash your hands in the bathroom so it's better to take those free little soups from the other places if you have an option.

Overall very nice and exceptional value for the money. The wifi was a challenge but a small problem considering the location, the beach and the staff. I had a great time there, lots of families and located just outside the business of Lamai. I will be returning in February of 2026, already booked my room. It's a wonderful place to relax and the beach is incredible. I can't say enough good things about Silver Beach Resort.

My room lead right on to the sandy beach. Quite remarkable for the price. The room was basic but I felt safe. The restaurant was always busy with visitors and had a fantastic vibe. The staff very friendly. 2-4-1 cocktails every afternoon!! The pool was lovely although limited sun loungers. Silver Beach is my favourite beach on the island so I will be back again and again. I am a snorkeler and I did enjoy safely swimming offshore. Although not a heap to see, it kept me entertained. There’s not much in the way of shops nearby but a 7-11 only 5 mins walk. Plenty of taxis touting for business if you want to go further.

The room was soundproof! Sounds silly but I couldn’t hear the waves at night. A security mesh door screen would have been amazing so I could open the door yet keep out the mosquitoes and feel safe. Only 3 in 1 coffee offered in the room. No tea or milk.

We stayed in a room with the ocean view. Beautiful beach and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean, and the staff were happy to help with any issues. The pool was gorgeous, overlooking the beach and ocean. Lots of lounge areas, massage, bar, and restaurant on the premises.

The weather was bad- heavy rain and thunderstorms. That's not the resorts fault and they did their best to keep guests comfortable despite the weather.

Everything. We had sea view room with about 10 steps to the sand on ground floor. Staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. Room is great size, most comfortable bed, hanging space and good size modern bathroom. Shower was great with good pressure. Infinity pool was great, staff didn't hesitate to remove non guests from pool area. The food at this place is fantastic. Beach great. Walking distance to 711, laundry and food. Lamai night market is walkable or tuk tuks available. Breakfast included was totally sufficient. Overall, we loved this place, room, beach, staff, food. View of the water is fantastic.

There a large numbers of non guests/day visitors that come to silver beach every day and use the beach but also the restaurant. If you have the ground floor sea view rooms they can be quite close to your verandah so for that reason I would avoid the first grd floor room. Didn't see the upstairs rooms but probably preferable for privacy. There are also cottages which are behind the pool area.

This is a friendly family run hotel with garden and benefits from being situated on one of the prettiest little beaches on Koh Samui. It is lovely to stay right on the beach with a beach bar, pool and massage area. The staff were so friendly and hardworking. We would definitely go back albeit to a different room. We loved having massages right next to the beach, cocktails during happy hour by the pool and the food in the restaurant/bar was good. It was in a good location to walk to a few bars and restaurants but not too busy and then easy to get a taxi to the livelier areas.

Our rooms were a little basic, albeit cleaned well when we needed. The 2 we stayed in were a little noisy and could have done with a little bit of TLC but we'd probably just book upgraded rooms next time as the hotel is generally really great.
