From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning natural beauty that surrounds the resort, combined with the warmth and hospitality of the people who work there. This is a place where every detail is thoughtfully considered, making for an unforgettable experience. The resort itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with lush gardens, crystal-clear waters, and views that truly take your breath away. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A special thank you to Jennie and Ben Ben, two outstanding young professionals who went above and beyond to make our stay an amazing experience. Their dedication and attention to detail were evident in every interaction, and they made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. The food at the resort is exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options that cater to all tastes. Breakfast is plentiful and diverse, featuring everything from fresh fruits and pastries to a Bloody Mary bar—yes, even a Bloody Mary for breakfast! The atmosphere during meals is relaxed and enjoyable, perfect for starting or ending your day. The resort also offers a free shuttle bus service to Lamai and Chaweng twice a day, which is a great convenience. While the return times from Chaweng are a bit early, it’s still a fantastic service that makes exploring the local area easy and stress-free. The activities and events organized by the resort are another highlight. Whether it’s the free happy hour on the beach or the various events throughout the week, there’s always something fun and engaging to do. These thoughtful touches are what make the Renaissance Koh Samui Resort stand out as a truly exceptional place to stay. The room - private pool with a beach view - was well worth the splurge. A nice spot for people who prefer total privacy while dipping in pool. The room was well maintained and always clean. The view was unbeatable even at night. Easy access to beach as well. The property had options to rent bikes or cars with not much of a rate difference from outside places (this according to google search, not enquired in person) and staff where always helpful with suggestions about places to visit or food to try out. The inclusive breakfast had both Thai options as well as regular ones like cereals, bread etc. Good profile taste wise. All in all would suggest the property for a calm and relaxing stay.

This was the best place I have ever been and the nicest staff I have every seen in my life. The whole week was just like in paradise and for the first time in my life I was really sad that I cannot stay more days. Thank you to all in this lovely resort and I hope and I trust I will returt and see this place and people again. Bye a see you (I hope soon)

Mosquitos, but this is normal even in small jungles. You have to be ready and buy some spray against it in time. We have always forgot to buy it, but they have it there also in restaurants:)

Beautiful stay at Renaissance for a week. Stunning grounds, beautiful room, access to own beach. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Very quiet and serene place. Super friendly staff. Great buffet for breakfast. Clean beach with kayaks. Nice ambiance.

Internet was quite bad, especially the Guest in-room one, could barely catch it and not every time. Could only connect properly to the Public network near the reception area. Also to warn that the stairs in the beach infinity pool were not safe. Our son cut his foot quite seriously on the stairs and our daughter tripped on them too. The hotel staff was very helpful though, they bandaged our son’s foot and changed the bandage the next day too.

I love that the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip of bars and restaurants of chaweng although you can always take a shuttle van provided by the hotel daily to make a trip down down, which was perfect for what we wanted. and a small walk down to the beach for a Nice walk In the mornings was perfect. the quiet and peaceful surroundings complimented out stay here. the resort is amongst a beautiful landscape of trees that are well maintained o the entire resort we didn't experience any major insect issues. everything in the resort was walking distance, from the hotel buffet to the restaurants and pools. we stayed in villa along the beach front which we'd highly recommend if you were travelling with you partner. overall, it was a perfect and comfortable stay. every staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Excellent friendly staff who noticed your preferences at breakfast and around the resort grounds. Very good choice of food at breakfast. Daily specials. Excellent choice of freshly cooked egg dishes. Excellent pool with good service at poolside bar. Beach is small but attractive and kept very clean. Special services associated with wedding event were highly tailored and well presented.

Provide a slightly wider selection of drinks at poolside bar. Speed of service at main restaurant needs to be quicker. Over an hour from ordering to delivery of main course on three occasions. Appeared to be insufficient cooking staff at most popular times.

The room was stunning, large, elegant and comfortable. The courtyard and pool was exceptional and made it hard to leave. The pool area and beach is stunning, and one of the better spots on the island for that time of year, as the ocean was protected so could enjoy swimming. The breakfasts were divine, the view divine, the staff attentive.

We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening - it was extremely over-priced, and the food was not great (it did have a beautiful view from the terrace).

I would like to highly recommend the renaissance hotel and concierge service by the JENNIE PROM. She makes our vacatione better than we expected. She recommend the elephant entertaitment and she booked for us the hotel taxi for all day with scasual of the seeseeing everything worth to see and do in Koh Samui. Even that she booked for us the table in the most crould skybar in the Bangkok. The hotel is a perfect place for the relax, food are deliciois and the staff are very helpful.
