Great outdoor area with the pool. They also have free daily sessions of yoga, soundbath etc Food at the hotel was delicious, all of a really high standard Staff were helpful to move us as we initially had booked a Mountain View room- you can barely see the mountain behind the electricity wires and the road is so noisy. Moved to a sea facing room which was spacious and much quieter.

The location is a bit further out of town and is at least a 15-20 minute walk to a more lively area. There are some bars and restaurants along the way. The beach does have rubbish on it and would have been better if it was cleaned daily

The room was comfortable and clean with beautiful garden, pool and sea views from window and balcony. Staff were extremely helpful in reception and special mention for friendly bar and restaurant staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Value for money.

There were some teething problems on arrival but these were sorted quickly. Seemingly hotel had just reopened after partial renovation. Still operating under further upgrades but main part of hotel functioning without too much disturbance. Have to say the bed was very hard.

Best hotel I stayed in, in my entire 2 week trip in Thailand! The staff are incredible, so kind and very attentive. I messaged prior to arrival and they were able to pick us up from the pier which was very kind! This beach front resort is absolutely beautiful and very luxurious too. I have stayed in 5* hotels before but this hotel exceeded that by far, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. The location was also excellent as it is right at the start of Lamai beach so is not as busy and a very good spot (felt like a private beach). Also only a 5-10min walk down the beach to the main/more popular part of the beach too if you prefer that. Shops are close by and all round perfect location. It's the kind staff that make this place the best though!

I had a wonderful stay at Samaya Wellness Resort! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and cleaned daily. I loved having direct access to the pool right from my room — it was super convenient and relaxing. The beach was beautiful, with soft white sand and clear water, just a short walk away. Everything was perfect for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation.

The only thing that didn’t quite meet my expectations was the breakfast. There weren’t many options to choose from, and we didn’t find much that we liked, so we decided to have breakfast at the café across the street instead.

A beautiful hotel with a lovely garden, situated in a quiet beach area, and the staff are extremely friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Fantastic view and large balconies. Nice pool area with a section for small children. Comfiest morning robe EVER! Cleaning is excellent. Only a 15-20 minute walk to the center of Lamai for more restaurant options. I am here during the low season, so the restaurant has a limited selection, and the pool bar is unfortunately closed. However, it is close to the restaurant, and they will serve you at the pool if you wish. You find 7/11, a 2-minute walk away, and cross the street.

The hotel offers a complete, seaside experience, with a spiritual twist. Breakfast that is actually edible, uncommon in Thailand, and varied, including Thai and Western options. The staff is lovely! Special thanks to them all.

- The breakfast music is mainly two songs that repeat. Even if these two songs are instrumental, which is good, they can drive you crazy because they repeat no matter how much you ask to change them. The rest of the day, the restaurant music is cheap wedding pop and sometimes very loud, breaking the spiritual intention of the resort. This could easily be improved with new instrumental music, for example Tibetan bowls, or Handpan music from Hang Massive or Malte - This area of the beach has a lot of seaweed and plastic debris, and Samaya doesn't clean it as often as the neighboring resorts. For a beach resort, not cleaning the beach is like not cleaning the room.

All the staff were amazing. The suite was fantastic. The private pool was great. The views were stunning

The bed was extremely hard, but the staff added extra mattress toppers when asked. The suite was advertised as 'sea view' but there was no Seaview.

The restaurant music is still a problem at the resort – it's less repetitive than before, but it sets a cheap tone throughout the day and can be heard from the rooms. It's easy to fix it: type on YouTube "Maretimo Lounge Radio" or "Luxury Lounge 2025" and get 24/7 quality lounge music for resorts. The staff was so nice and helpful. The pools and AC made our stay in Thailand so much better as we were not acclimatized to the heat. The yoga and sound bath sessions were just fantastic. Even the housekeeping was great. All their staff were so wonderful. And the property was just so beautiful. The food and drinks were fresh and delicious. And the price of our stay was very good. Over all this resort met all our needs and expectations.

We found the bed hard but the staff added a topper as soon as we notified them and it made a big difference.
