Great outdoor area with the pool. They also have free daily sessions of yoga, soundbath etc Food at the hotel was delicious, all of a really high standard Staff were helpful to move us as we initially had booked a Mountain View room- you can barely see the mountain behind the electricity wires and the road is so noisy. Moved to a sea facing room which was spacious and much quieter.

The location is a bit further out of town and is at least a 15-20 minute walk to a more lively area. There are some bars and restaurants along the way. The beach does have rubbish on it and would have been better if it was cleaned daily

The room was comfortable and clean with beautiful garden, pool and sea views from window and balcony. Staff were extremely helpful in reception and special mention for friendly bar and restaurant staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Value for money.

There were some teething problems on arrival but these were sorted quickly. Seemingly hotel had just reopened after partial renovation. Still operating under further upgrades but main part of hotel functioning without too much disturbance. Have to say the bed was very hard.

Best hotel I stayed in, in my entire 2 week trip in Thailand! The staff are incredible, so kind and very attentive. I messaged prior to arrival and they were able to pick us up from the pier which was very kind! This beach front resort is absolutely beautiful and very luxurious too. I have stayed in 5* hotels before but this hotel exceeded that by far, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. The location was also excellent as it is right at the start of Lamai beach so is not as busy and a very good spot (felt like a private beach). Also only a 5-10min walk down the beach to the main/more popular part of the beach too if you prefer that. Shops are close by and all round perfect location. It's the kind staff that make this place the best though!

The bed was extremely hard, but the staff added extra mattress toppers when asked. The suite was advertised as 'sea view' but there was no Seaview.

The hotel offers a complete, seaside experience, with a spiritual twist. Breakfast that is actually edible, uncommon in Thailand, and varied, including Thai and Western options. The staff is lovely! Special thanks to them all.

- The breakfast music is mainly two songs that repeat. Even if these two songs are instrumental, which is good, they can drive you crazy because they repeat no matter how much you ask to change them. The rest of the day, the restaurant music is cheap wedding pop and sometimes very loud, breaking the spiritual intention of the resort. This could easily be improved with new instrumental music, for example Tibetan bowls, or Handpan music from Hang Massive or Malte - This area of the beach has a lot of seaweed and plastic debris, and Samaya doesn't clean it as often as the neighboring resorts. For a beach resort, not cleaning the beach is like not cleaning the room.

The restaurant music is still a problem at the resort – it's less repetitive than before, but it sets a cheap tone throughout the day and can be heard from the rooms. It's easy to fix it: type on YouTube "Maretimo Lounge Radio" or "Luxury Lounge 2025" and get 24/7 quality lounge music for resorts. Great size room and very clean. The hotel offered daily cleaning services and fresh towels. The hotel was in a quieter location on the outskirts of Lamai, but it was about a 20 minute walk along the beach into town. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great views across the ocean from our balcony. Hotel included complementary body wash and shampoo as well as a mini fridge and hairdryer. Beds were super comfy and the air con worked well. This made for a comfortable night's sleep. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool and on the beach. They also gave us a little gift (Samaya luggage tags) on checkout.

My family of six were in love with the whole place throughout our whole stay including people location the beach the kayaks on the beach the staff, the cleanliness everything the room is gorgeous. The view of the sea was phenomenal. i’ve had a parcel for Christmas, which was a Christmas gift for my partner and reception was able to help me by talking to the delivery person and eventually we got the parcel so was very happy. There is a Shala yo roof where me and my sister went to do yoga. There are mats. There is also a gorgeous spiritual corner where two guys hold strong bath. Unfortunately, I kept missing them but I heard it was fantastic.

Well, we felt that breakfast was basic. It also always came with rice and some meat as if it was a dinner set up. Luckily, they always had fruit and made eggs to exactly how we liked it. New Year’s Eve could be described, maybe as nothing special .

Resort is just next to the Beach. Nice outside Pool just meter away from the sea. Nice hotel restaurant again, on the Beach. Very good breakfast. Nice personel. 10 minutes walk to the city center.
