Nice resort with nice beach/pool are. Rooms were nice and clean, comfortable and all in all good. Breakfast was nice and with width selection of west/Asia food, all delicious.

Sound proof isolation between room is quite bad. You can hear almost everything and everyone coming to his room, dogs/traffic outside,... In general was all good, but I would just expect more of a resort like this, who is charging everything that much..

Overall a phenomenal place with spacious and clean rooms, super friendly staff, a great breakfast and a nice pool close to the beach. Would recommend.

I disliked the constant efforts from staff (and resort policies) to do continuous “upselling” on small insignificant items without financial impact. Again, the cost are insignificant, but just annoying to have to deal with this lack of flexibility on vacation. Examples: (1) Could not bring water from the room (which was provided by the resort) in my thermo dunk to the pool - had to buy a new one there. (2) Could not bring a cup of coffee with milk from breakfast to enjoy at our balcony - had to purchase a new one through room service at additional cost. (3) Could only enjoy snacks from the pool bar, though their selection did not sufficiently cover our needs - and was reminded everyday through the app :-) (4) App sending constant marketing notifications (up to 10 messages a day).

The staff was very nice and the hotel was great and we loved the location that is not in the center of everything

Some of the comments that we saw here before, the air condition makes noise, and there was no proper balcony- but once we told them they immediately helped us!

My wife and I had a great stay at Outrigger and would highly recommend the hotel. The beautiful colonial style resort is ideally located for the best possible stay on Koh Samui. Everything we experienced was of a very high standard. Our quiet, spacious room was extremely comfortable and the extensive breakfast selection included both Thai and American dishes. There are excellent pools with a bar and restaurant, set beside a stunning palm fringed beach. The very friendly and helpful staff are what really make this hotel special. Without exception everyone goes out of their way to ensure you have the best possible stay. Bernard the Manager introduced himself to us in the bar and it’s clear he works hard to ensure everyone offers guests the highest possible standard of service. At reception Norbert was very helpful and in the restaurants Noot, Kawee and Tong provided outstanding service. Our room was kept spotlessly clean and impeccably tidy every day by housekeeping. This hotel has everything you want for an enjoyable stay, however for those wanting to venture out, traditional Thai and contemporary cafes/restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Excellent facilities the gym and the games room was fab! The second pool that overlooks the beach was amazing!

The space between the doors and at the bottom of the doors had gaps and so we had bugs and mosquitoes in the room! Had to spray the bug spray which stank the room whilst in it! Also when we went to the pool bar they tried charging prices which aren’t on the menu, when we challenged them they told us to pay or leave, when confronting again they said the 100bhat cocktail and the other 180 bhat was vat and service charge! Eventually agreed to pay the price that’s one the actual menu!

I don’t normally write a review but we have just had 4 nights in Outrigger over Christmas and it was just so amazing I had to write a review! The staff are just incredible esp Michael , Laura, Packey & Ice who made us smile & laugh every day :-) The Christmas Day lunch buffet was amazing & was so much fun , the pool & beach are just gorgeous & we met the nicest families there! We left today and all miss it already !

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend this hotel to other families. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. We slept really well in our beds, they were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. We benefitted from the Voyager Lounge, which was a real treat. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They even memorized our names and our favorite cocktail, we were impressed! The facilities were great, especially for children. Our kids loved the games room and the laser tag. My husband and I enjoyed the dinners at the beach, the restaurant is marvelous. There are also plenty of other restaurants and shops nearby. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we will certainly return.

Although the beach is beautiful, the water is quite shallow and not ideal for swimming. It was also very warm in August. We didn't mind, as our kids preferred swimming in the kid-friendly pools anyway.

Relaxed, friendly attentive service. Beautiful location with accommodation as advertised. Good food & facilities available, easy access to activities, currency ex hange etc. Pleased outrigger supporting reefs would like to know what is happening in front of outrigger samui to support environment. 😀

As local main drain/sewer/River outlet just up the beach, think there should have been a sign advising tourists staying at hotel of risk in swimming directly in front of resort as when looking outside of local beach area (bay with tidal flow) you could see the sea was cleaner.although no unpleasant smells. All staff were pleasant attentive, friendly helpful. Unfortunately it looks like local area is becoming another Bali with rubbish being dumped anywhere.

The road through the middle of the hotel makes it noisy and difficult to cross from one side of the resort to the other

pools were really good, all staff are really friendly. good variety of breakfast buffet. gym is quite small but handy to have. Great kids club.

food prices outside breakfast are really high for Samui. daily cleaning was really good but tendered to come around 3-4pm when we were returning from a day out or a day at the pool so a little awkward.
