I was a little worried at first because some people havent given the best reviews in the past, but i really cant understand them. The complex is very well maintained and very green and beatifull. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. The pool was cleaned daily and the staff were very attentive and helpfull. The breakfast options were abundant and healthy. The location is great as you cant walk everywhere, there is great restaurants all around and it is still quite calm and not noisy. Overall great experience would deffinately stay here again. I had the Tropical Poolvilla.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We stayed in villa with a pool and it was so well isolated from other houses that you can practically walk around the pool naked 😊 It's was confmy, location was great, practically on the beach and 5 minutes walk from night market, scooter rentals, and a lot of restaurant. 7eleven is also 2 minutes walk, as well as the gym. For fitness oriented, they have one of the best health/fitness restaunts inside the resort, with huge selection of carefully crafted meals to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Wifi signal was not the best in the room, so if you want to have video calls it's better to move to the lobby or near the shared pool. Also we had a problem with ants/mosquitoes in the room, but these were solved by the hotel staff

This was our best stay in Thailand, me and my girlfriend stayed here for just under a week. Location was great about 2 minutes from the beach, great access to the rest of lamai and into other parts such as Chaweng. Our room was very nice and tidy and always cleaned to perfection They had an amazing cafe / bunch bar , staff here was lovely and owner was so helpful - great place for eating and drinks while chilling with even a aircon work place Finally I’d love to mention how amazing the woman at reception was , one of the nicest ladies you’d ever meet , so helpful with everything and couldn’t ask for a better hotel host- even tipped her some baht !

Beautiful property, very well managed by the staff who are constantly out sweeping to keep the lovely appearance. It’s so close to night markets and 7-eleven. Lovely accommodations with our own private villa, tucked off from the others. It’s less then an arms length from the beach with lots of action for those looking to party while also having some lovely spots for a nice quite dinner.

The only down side about our stay (which was kinda our fault) we booked for 10 days and for the first two they had some pretty loud music on the beach (Thai concert) because it’s so close we could hear all the bands going until late into the night. Now again we can’t control the events that happened to take place during our visit but luckily the festival had ended a few nights later. It was a fun market/ festival and we walked around it a few times to get some late night snacks. I would just recommend checking to see if they’ll have any live performances in that area during your stay. But overall loved the staff and atmosphere!

Absolutely Loved Our Stay! We had an amazing time at this property. The room was clean, comfortable, and great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect — we woke up to the most stunning view every morning! The on-site restaurant was a real highlight too, with delicious food and a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Couldn’t fault a thing — highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the royal suite and it was so beautiful. Close to everything. Pool cleaner came daily to clean the pool and the property looks like it’s just been renovated. Breakfast was good for a 3 star property and the staff were lovely. I read some bad reviews before staying but it looks like they’ve done a lot of work to improve the pain points discussed previously.

It’s not on the beach like the photos looked. there’s a river between the property and the grassy start of the actual beach. Only improvement point would be for the property to respond via WhatsApp which they tell everyone to use to contact them whilst staying on the property. I contacted the number for different reasons and never got a reply message.

The staff at the hotel is exceptional and consistently attentive. Unfortunately, the internet and hot water did not function properly during our stay. Despite their efforts to resolve the issues, the staff promptly and without hesitation moved us to a different room, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. The current manager deserves particular recognition for her professionalism and leadership; the hotel is fortunate to have her at the helm. The location is also excellent, with numerous night markets and activities in close proximity, offering a vibrant and convenient experience.

Most of it. The location is good. Just a couple of minutes away from a small market. Staff incredibly friendly. We would like to highlight that the receptionist was the best English speaker we found in Thailand.

We got the ocean view villa with private pool and were disappointed that we didn’t get any privacy because residents walk right through your entrance and there is no wall. The same happens inside the villa as the walls are massive windows with curtains. I would recommend installing vinyl to open the curtains without being seen by everyone. Otherwise you have to keep curtains closed and all the lights on. It’s a pity because all the other aspects of the resort are solid good.

The Hotel was very good and the villa was spacious and the bed was vey comfortable it was nice to have a plunge pool outside the villa but my husband had an accident and fell into the pool but it wasn't the hotels fault overall everything else was perfect

most things were good in the hotel except the plunge pool didn't have any steps so it wasn't easy to get in or out as my husband fell in and hurt his back and the staff were lovely but they didn't have much understanding of English so it was hard to communicate with them and the Breakfast wasn't vey good most of it wasn't cooked properly but we enjoyed our holiday and would go back again so I want to say Thank you to Zara Beach resort for looking after us.
