Hotel on a human scale. We were in Villa G: large room, huge bathroom and small terrace in the greenery. Small swimming pool, direct access to the beach, 2 minutes from all shops, restaurants and massages, 5 minutes from the Night market and far enough from the girls' bars. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. It's a good compromise on Lamai.

Some ideas to make everything perfect: - in such a spacious bathroom, add a small piece of furniture to put down the toiletry bags, coat racks near the shower for towels, a shelf or a niche to put down the products in the shower, coat racks behind the door for clothes, pajamas, etc. - change the bath/shower mats for something less worn and classier - Breakfast: - serve 1 or 2 fresh fruit juices rather than industrial juices - Provide hot water and selection of tea bags rather than a teapot cooking all morning

En suite bathroom needed updating and sometimes had a bad smell.

Lovely rooms, spacious, not far from the poor. Quite a small hotel but beautifully Thai, plenty of sunbeds, just very nice and relaxing. Perfect location too!! Right in amidst the hustle and bustle but also completely peaceful when you’re by the pool! Staff are lovely and friendly but food at restaurant was painfully inconsistent! Put us off eating there as one day you’d get a nice meal and you could order it the next day and it would be horrible but their English isn’t good enough to understand that

They were a bit stingy on the pool towels. You’d be better off having a towel station by the pool to exchange and hand them back. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation. It’s a bit manky and dirty now and old. The room is lovely (a smart tv would be better though) but the bathroom is poor.

Perfectly located, lots of accessible bars, restaurants and just a short walk from the Lamai night market which is fabulous. Breakfast was good, very comfortable beds with decent pillows, staff were extremely helpful. Reserving of Sunbeds was not allowed :) 👍 Parking is available. Very helpful booking our boat to other islands. Overall very good and would definitely return!

We were charged THB 300 ++ for a Hong Thong (local rum/whisky) when everyone else charges between 100-120THB :(

We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The pool area - surrounded by palm trees - is idyllic with direct access to it's own stretch of beach. In short, a little piece of paradise. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge selection of high quality food to choose from. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a happy, smiling face. Highly recommended and somewhere we would love to visit again.

The location was excellent because it was on the beach side of the road. The pool faced the swimmable beach and had direct access with plenty of lounges in both areas. The buffet breakfast was very good with the restaurant facing the beach. They had a seafood barbecue one night with tables set up on the sand and a concert of Thai music and dancing. Lovely staff with poolside service available. Generous room size with useful extra furniture. They were also very generous with late check-out.

The rooms were pretty tired and were not really like the website photos. So much brown! Because Thailand has legal marijuana the drift of smoke into one of our rooms from their balcony was an issue especially for our child. My daughters didn't think the bathrooms were clean enough.

Location was great, right on Lamai beach and very close to the town. Breakfast was amazing and spoilt us for everywhere else, the chef was brilliant. The rooms were comfortable and we had plenty of space for the time we were there. Beds were comfortable and rooms really clean. Lovely older style with a great Thai feel as opposed to the cut and paste of concrete blocks.

There was maintenance going on outside our room which was using loud screaming machinery. I suppose it has to be done

Nice location, beach front and walking distance to the Lamai vila and night markets, restaurants and shops. Staff was very welcoming and great, always with a smile and happy (reception at least) sometimes restaurant staff seemed very crampy and not happy at all. Breakfast is a good value for money and you can have it looking at the beach which was great and nice.

The swimming pool was being rebuilt and the work site was a mess. They did offered to upgrade us to a Bungalow due to inconvenience or even to stay at a partner hotel and even offered a transfer to use the swimming pool in the partner hotel. Well the location of the partner hotel was not that great so we decided to take the free upgrade to a bungalow which was very spacious and comfortable. However we would like to know about this situation with the swimming pool upfront so we could have organised another place to stay, but they only sent us a message to advise about it and options 1 day prior to our arrival. We were celebrating our anniversary. The photos in the website are not realistic though, its similar, but very different at the same time.

Every member of staff we had the pleasure of speaking to were friendly and helpful. The room was great and had a lovely view of the garden. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was very clean. Our room was cleaned everyday and new towels were given. The pool is lovely with beautiful views of the beach. The new year's eve gala was fab, the entertainment and the staff went above and beyond that night for every person there. We enjoyed our stay that much that we booked to stay an extra 4 nights.

The property was great - happy hour could have been better and getting offered drinks around the pool - along with actually doing something about those that liked to put there towels around the pool and then not sit on them .. more non smoking areas
