Hotel on a human scale. We were in Villa G: large room, huge bathroom and small terrace in the greenery. Small swimming pool, direct access to the beach, 2 minutes from all shops, restaurants and massages, 5 minutes from the Night market and far enough from the girls' bars. Very helpful staff. Good breakfast. It's a good compromise on Lamai.

Some ideas to make everything perfect: - in such a spacious bathroom, add a small piece of furniture to put down the toiletry bags, coat racks near the shower for towels, a shelf or a niche to put down the products in the shower, coat racks behind the door for clothes, pajamas, etc. - change the bath/shower mats for something less worn and classier - Breakfast: - serve 1 or 2 fresh fruit juices rather than industrial juices - Provide hot water and selection of tea bags rather than a teapot cooking all morning

En suite bathroom needed updating and sometimes had a bad smell.

Just spent an incredible 11 nights at Thai House Beach Resort with 2 families in 3 rooms. 6 children aged 10, 12, 14, 15, 17, 17. Rooms were no frills but very spacious and comfortable. We had a tiny issue with one room but this was rectified immediately. The location for us all was FANTASTIC. Right on the beach and in the heart of Lamai it was walking distance to everything. Kids were all safe to wander from the hotel themselves. The staff were super friendly and had our room key ready and waiting for us whenever we entered the lobby. They were very helpful with booking our adventures aswell as scooter and car hire. The beach out front was always ckeared if any fallen leaves etc sand locely and water just divine! Pool medium sized and perfectly adequate. Never had to fight for a lounger and spent many an afternoon playing in the pool. Breakfast simple but delicious. Range of pastries, egg station, alays a selection of fruit, cereals, toast, salad aswell as great curries. Yummy juice as well. Had a few simple lunches from restaurant and perfectly fine. Would highly recommend staying here.

Maybe providing more than one key per room would be great.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Although there were renovations during our stay, we were upgraded to a villa for free as compensation which I consider the gold standard of service. The rooms were spotless, and the resort had a cozy and inviting atmosphere.

The restaurant is basic and overly expensive. The Wednesday BBQ was a disappointing experience; we couldn't sit on the beach, and the portions were small and overpriced. I'd recommend going outside for food.

The staff made this trip everything for us! May and Grace was the dream my little girl won’t stop talking about them they made the trip so special. Also a big shout to Max and Miew. We checked out to go to travel but we honestly wish we stayed longer and we can’t wait to return, the cleaning team so on the ball. Hotel leading straight on to a beautiful beach, amazing beach dinner with fire show. Love love love memories will be hold for ever.

Big room, fitted 3 easily, 2 adults one child. Good layout for family of 3. Nice breakfast and great view of the beach. Very good position in lamai. Great price for 3 person room.

Our room was right next to reception and had a walkway in front og the inward facing balcony so people could see in so we kept the curtains closed. Our room did not get cleaned but that was due to my miscommunication with cleaning staff. The pool is a bit smaller than pictures suggest but fine, the sunbeds around pool were mainly in shade but pkenty on beach with full sun.

Perfectly located, lots of accessible bars, restaurants and just a short walk from the Lamai night market which is fabulous. Breakfast was good, very comfortable beds with decent pillows, staff were extremely helpful. Reserving of Sunbeds was not allowed :) 👍 Parking is available. Very helpful booking our boat to other islands. Overall very good and would definitely return!

We were charged THB 300 ++ for a Hong Thong (local rum/whisky) when everyone else charges between 100-120THB :(

Lovely rooms, spacious, not far from the poor. Quite a small hotel but beautifully Thai, plenty of sunbeds, just very nice and relaxing. Perfect location too!! Right in amidst the hustle and bustle but also completely peaceful when you’re by the pool! Staff are lovely and friendly but food at restaurant was painfully inconsistent! Put us off eating there as one day you’d get a nice meal and you could order it the next day and it would be horrible but their English isn’t good enough to understand that

They were a bit stingy on the pool towels. You’d be better off having a towel station by the pool to exchange and hand them back. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation. It’s a bit manky and dirty now and old. The room is lovely (a smart tv would be better though) but the bathroom is poor.

It’s a small and tiny hotel in Thai style. That makes it feel like it as it should be; not a modern clinical bunker. The property is simple but everything you need is there. It’s clean and the stuff is very friendly, always smiling and very helpful. The stuff was continuously improving the facility, doing repairs or painting the house front.

Could offer more local Thai snacks during the day! Thailand and Koh Samui has a big variety of food and snacks, desserts!

We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. The pool area - surrounded by palm trees - is idyllic with direct access to it's own stretch of beach. In short, a little piece of paradise. The breakfast was outstanding with a huge selection of high quality food to choose from. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and we were always greeted with a happy, smiling face. Highly recommended and somewhere we would love to visit again.
